I agree with Faucon - Naruto and Sakura only need time. They're going to get some of that with a near-three-year time skip. Naruto is obviously going to grow up and look really good. Just look at Jiraiya for example - he was the "runt" of his team and now he's the tallest and most muscular! Same with Yondaime if the anime shot of his team is anything to go by. Naruto won't look 100% like Yondaime yet, he'll only be 16/17 so he will still look quite young, but he should be able to grow taller than Sakura.

Keira-chan, shall we do a comic of 109's "SasuSaku" moment and explain what we see? I agree how it is silly that they are trying to use the episode to prove their views, even though neutrals and non-SasuSaku supporters agree that it was a rejection and Sakura knew Sasuke didn't love her.

It's unrealistic to expect her to always love Sasuke when we have not seen WHY she likes him asides from her crush. He never gave her any reason to love him more. His rejection could have been the final straw for her feelings.

I mean, Sakura has at least treated Naruto better - she acknowledged him and has thanked him as well as tried to cheer him on. She obviously treats Naruto in a softer way than Sasuke has treated her. She now knows that Naruto has always been the one who was there for her - not Sasuke. I don't know if she realises he really loves her, but she does at least realise just how much he cares and has always helped her no matter what.

It's funny how some people claim Sakura will not change when she has already changed a lot from the old Sakura of Chapter 3.

Well FINALLY I saw episode 109 recently. I couldn't watch it last week because the burn CD that my friend did for me didn't work.

Oh I have to say after watching the episode is WOW. Really emotional much more than the manga. Heh the whole "date" between Naruto and Sakura was a DUD    . She only did that to tell him about Sasuke Curse seal, plus during the whole "date" she was not even there at all she was purely thinking about Sasuke and it showed how much worrried she was.

Also It was clear and point that Sakura did in fact say she loved Sasuke some NarutoXSakura fans said that it was a translation error in the manga that she really said "she really really liked him" Yeah right... :rolleyes:

When Sasuke said "Your Annoying" to Sakura you can clearly see in his face that he was forcing it, no where near the same way he said it to her the first time "Your Annnoying" when they first met which was really a clear mean face from him.

It wouldn't have made sense for him the next thing to say to her would be "thank you" if he really said "Your Annoying" in a mean way.

The "Thank You" Part when Sasuke told to Sakura really showed that he was grateful for Sakura telling her all the things btw including the loved part she said to him, heck it even surprise her.

The NarutoXSakura fans saying that he rejected her.... yeah right. :rolleyes:

Hehe, I was wondering where you and Alpha were, Ash. You guys are usually all over K****** and Yondaime in the manga threads as soon as they get posted.

Faucon, yep, they used two hug scenes to PROVERZ TEH LOVERZ!!!11!1 Funny how they always seem to leave out the third.

1) Sasuke comes back to life, and Sakura hugs him crying. He tells her she's heavy and to get off him. When she hugs him, he's complaining. That's the one they usually leave out in their arguments...

2) The Curse Seal Hug. You know what we all think of that.

3) The Hospital Hug. Again, you know what we think.

They argue that since Sasuke doesn't just push Sakura off himself, he must feel something. But I counter that with the fact he did not push Ino off himself either. Also, Sasuke sees Sakura as a friend. If he saw her as anything more, he would have touched her at the elbows or something more. Standing there stock still with your arms stuck to your side isn't exactly showing feelings.

They also argue that Sasuke saves Sakura, but he's also saved Naruto. He looks out for both his teammates, seeing them as his family. Only Naruto's fight against Gaara showed any hint of loving feelings since he was fighting for Sakura.

Oh, yeah, and the infamous Chapter 181. That actually turned out in our favour.

And... er... that's all. Wow, a lot of development for SasuSaku, huh? Never mind the fact that Sasuke has never shown any loving feelings for Sakura and has always kept her at a distance...

Oh, I've already taken the shots for the Episode 3 comic. It did leave out Naruto's thoughts on first seeing Sakura (they're in the manga but not in the anime), but I'll include them in the notes.

I still dont understand the smile part with saying Your annoying is kinda forced ummm, if you look at that scene again you can clearly see that he always does that since the start and dinit even need to force it

In the NaruSaku scene in 183 , you can see Naruto become sad when Sakura told him to rescue Sasuke but the main part of that scene shows that Sakura finally knows that Naruto was the one that always cared and always tries to cheer her up... Well anyways just to show that Naruto changed alot since the start like the flashback we saw in epi 3

It's not easy to see the meaning behind Sasuke's decision to call Sakura annoying, but it is clear that it is not out of "love" nor warm feelings. He could be saying that she has not really changed in some ways.

Your comic needs a little more, but it is a good start, Keira-chan.

Back to the ranting now, rant rant rant lol well anyways, i said that in some other post but did you notice that when someone posts something that can be considered a good argument, EVERY other poster agrees with it? (like i agree and omg i so much agree!)

There just using the numbers of ppl so if 579470 agrees with 1 argument, they all think it's the best 1.

Yeah, I agree Episode 3 showed how Sakura was already changing! While she may be brash and harsh on the outside, she's really a nice girl deep inside. I think that the anime version unintentionally reduced the impact of Sakura's realisations by putting in that filler - she tries to smile but is twitching, and she then yells at Naruto. Whereas the manga simply left Sakura sitting on the bench thinking. I think that was one factor that led to anime watchers hating Sakura.

Hehe, sorry the comic was so long but I wanted to show how they first treated each other at the beginning of the series. A LOT has changed between Chapter 3 and 236, hm?

Chapter 3 Sakura (before Sasuke called her annoying): "Naruto is annoying!"

Chapter 236 Sakura: "I trust Naruto with my life, and completely believe in him. He is a very precious person to me."

I just had a revelation in the shower. One of those "Eureka!" moments, so to speak.

I think I may have nailed the underneath of Sasuke's "Even after all this time, you're still annoying" line.

Now, I believe that he was referring to how hard Sakura was trying to stop him, trying EVERYTHING from Team 7's bonds to her own declaration of love. Sasuke saw that she was trying so hard, using anything she could think of to stop him. He very probably also thought of how she had tried to win him over during the Team 7 days. That made him smirk and call her "annoying". He means something like "You're still so stubborn, Sakura" and/or "You really don't give up, do you Sakura?" Not in a cold way, but in a slightly amused way.

Then he thanks Sakura because he knows how much she cares, and she tried everything she could to stop him leaving. But his heart has chosen revenge above his friends. That is why I say he has rejected her, because he still chose to go on to Orochimaru and did not once reciprocate her feelings. He placed power above her.

No, no, I mean it in the tone of "No matter how hard you try, Sakura, I'm not going to change my mind."

The thing is, she offered him her heart and he refused because he wanted power. That's what I'm saying, you see?

If the S***S*** tried to twist that to say Sasuke will love Sakura after he kills Itachi, then we can easily counter with something they cannot prove. There have been no hints in the manga that Sasuke thinks of Sakura as any more than a comrade. Also, if he actually cared about Sakura, he would not have merely walked on after hearing her declaration.

Using the Itachi factor is pretty weak because there is really nothing stopping Sasuke saying a few words for Sakura. He went ahead and said a few words and they were "You're still annoying." Now, he could have chosen something nicer, hm?

And, well, we know that we should just ignore Airichan's posts. She's always talking about "reliable sources" instead of reading/watching the source material itself. Remember how she mucked up the Naruto Henge scene and blamed it on "one of her sources"? You'd think she would check the information herself if she was a decent debater.

The reason why they will not ever admit that Sasuke rejected Sakura in 109/chapter 181 is because if they accepted that, they would be accepting that Sasuke did not love Sakura and that SasuSaku was dead.

We'll just have to leave it up to Kishimoto and hope we get lots more NaruSaku ammo.

Why do they always use the Itachi and Sasuke will be become the best person in the world! HE will love everyone and especially Sakura OMG!
I dont understand that, are they thinking that Sasuke is just holding all the love for Sakura until he kills Itachi?

ahhh what is wrong with them? Did they ever wonder even after Itachi dies, he can become a perma-avenger and still tries to obtain more and more power?

Did you also notice that for there proof, they use all scene that can look like a S***S*** but it's really a ordinary scene like i saw someone posted that Sasuke was jealous when Naruto asked Sakura for advice on the tree climbing? ummm I think he just wanted the advice that Sakura gave to Naruto but nooooo. They think that it's a proof of jealousy at Naruto.. for what? talking to Sakura?! AHHHHH k
