The problems is this is in Weekly Shounen Jump. I didn't think they had porn in Weekly Shounen Jump? Actually has anything there had something like this before?

I don't say that wsj allowed porn, I said they have big porn industry and it's really easy to access.
In japan, you can't access porn if you are under 18. So for wsj demographic that range from 12-18 will not have porn.
But they have ecchi. It's a nudity fanservice and or accidental grope/pervertness that allow for some reason. Maybe because japan has different standards.

For the first question, yes he worked under Kishi; as for the second question because the guy doesn't have any talent.

It's really bad when fan art looks better then this... I'm usually forgiving of art if it's a start up manga, but isn't this the guy who worked under Kishimoto? Why does the art look like a cluttered mess?

This guy worked for kishimoto for years it was his job to make his artwork as close to kishi's as possible. Now it can be forgiven if he wants to do his own style since he no longer just kishi's assistant. But my god is his art work crap. I just looked it up here what he was apparently in charge of while he was an assistant: "works as a 'mob', drawing crowds and background figures, adding the white to speed lines, highlights, and characters' eyes, and whiting out any art that goes out of the panel and into the gutter, as well as putting stars in the night sky, and adding in half-tones."

 

So his job was the background characters, shadowing, and general fluff and tidying up an image. Well those images do have really good half tones...not sure about those misshapen square eyes though. All this stuff doesn't say he is good at drawing. It just that he is good at adding effects to the image that make it pop.

 

For the first question, yes he worked under Kishi; as for the second question because the guy doesn't have any talent.

He had twelve guys that could have done the spin-off in theory. Is this guy really the best one? Or was he the only one that was willing to do it?

I think we all realize this guy wasn't going to be impressing anyone from that poster 3 months back. This just kind of settles it. The fact that he had to add shorts to Salad's outfit. Shows that they know off the bat they are having problems.

Well, Murata did help greatly to make OPM stand out as of today. Otherwise, well, sadly, let's just say USA would ignore it or won't make it as their new DBZ.

Well, to be fair, compared to other manga artist it is sub-par, whatever the story lacks in art, it makes up for in an amazing story. So I want ONE to continue that work. I love his story and to be honest, his style for OPM is kind of charming. I hope ONE can actually get really good enough to be the best of both world's. I think it is better to start out bad and end up being amazing then it is to be great and fall down to horrible mediocrity.

Murata is an amazing artist, but I bet you right now if he could trade his artistic talent for something as amazing as OPM, he would. While you are right that OPM probably would have be still in the dark if not for Murata, I don't think it would have stayed long. If not Murata, someone else would have picked it up, but the one thing I love most is that Murata and Madhouse were passionate fans for the series and when they saw ONE possibly had to give up on OPM and his career...they knew it shouldn't happen.

I am glad for what they did and maybe this is how it was meant to be. Sometimes all you need is one person to open the right door and you can make it.

Well the point is if they let ONE keep it the way it originally is, for serialization wise, it would not get that recognition.

Why I brought that up is because of my lack of respect for story telling over art. This is the reason why I regretted dropping OP ten years ago because the art quality was not of my liking. Now a decade later I here very good things about Oda. And now OP is way to much deep for me to get back into. Its like what almost 800 chapters. That's too much for me lol. Thankfully, I never made the same mistake with OMP as I did with OP. And its all thanks to Maruta-sensei.

Well all new manga start off with shody art (One Piece, Naruto, Bleach) bar maybe a few series... But what storytelling can possibly be told with this "new" series when Naruto's one purpose was bringing world peace. If they're somehow still doing mission's, clearly the word peace got lost in translation.
