Wow, you guys sure hate Hinata with my post about "Naruto-Kun" being the highest liked so far.
I like her! Really, I do.
Granted, her dream during the Infinite Tsukiyomi kind of aggravated me, but I still like her.
I'll always be there to catch you when you fall.

Just don't do it during Naruto's fun time with Sakura...so all the bijuu's can have a meeting inside Naruto, right? i wonder if there is a bathroom inside Naruto because they'll need it during the meetings.

jesus man! just thinking about sasuke's face this chapter scares the kitten out of me.
I loved it, finally we have a Sasuke that makes sense. Although it does bother me knowing the anime team will screw it up.
Which I've told you - time and time again - is dangerous! There will never be consensus, son, among those you have helped to ascend. They will all differ in their views of what it means to be free. The peace you so desperately seek does not exist.
These men are united now by a common cause. But when this battle is finished they will fall to fighting amongst themselves about how best to ensure control. In time it will lead to war. You will see.

I have to say that Kishi did a good job with it, though. It perfectly captures the tension and chaos in the scene. You can just feel the coldness and darkness oozing out of him.

It's amazing how a sinister expression and some detailed shadowing can make someone look decades older. Easily one of the best panels of Sasuke in the manga. You can tell that Kishi put his best efforts into the shading and smoothness of the individual lines. It's a stark contrast to the declining quality of his more recent drawings.

Which I thought this turn was great. The whole past chapters, they want you to believe Sasuke is ok with everything. Then this moment happens and everything just change. If the people at tumblr and forums are pissed at Sasuke, then mission complete.

I've seen some people being angry- Won't say who or where, though.- because they thought that Sasuke's development heretofore was all for naught. Sasuke's behavior was very much in character, when you think about it, considering that he always was a person to act as he felt right and to only interact with people, as long as he felt that their presence benefited him. He's always operated with his own morality, which is from a very pure emotion/passion inside of him, as Kishi has stated. He'll do whatever it takes to get what he wants, and this was expected.

How would the anime screw it up? By making Sasuke look more sympathetic instead of depicting him as the psychopath he truly is? I haven't watched the anime in a long time because I got fed up with the nonstop filler kitten? Why can't animes follow the same airing methods as the American networks do instead of continuously making episodes until it's done or canceled? Then they wouldn't have to waist time (and possibly money) creating filler episodes that aren't even canon to the source material.

Well, in most cases, it seems that the production companies are dedicated to adapting as much of a manga/light novel series as possible, unless if they're forced to cancel. When it's really long, like this series, they end up catching up with the source material, which causes them to have to resort to producing filler episodes, until they have enough material to return to what's canon.
I'll always be there to catch you when you fall.

But hasn't she already moved on? Her actions and reactions, as well as commentary by other characters, most especially Kakashi, seem to imply as much.
There is no phyiscal confirmation from Sakura herself

She was really selfish when she knocked out her teammates during the Summit arc, just to go off on her own and "kill" Sasuke. I don't know how people can think that she was only trying to help Naruto.
Oh no... you're so wrong. You didn't understand well what Kishi has written. She wasn't "only" trying to "help" Naruto. First of all, she wanted Naruto to STAY ALIVE. Not just "help" him. Secondly, even if she has done this also for herself and for the sake of the old Sasuke, this was only driven by what Sai told her. It's all about Naruto.
Also, during the Pain arc... Hinata wasn't really being selfish, she was just trying to help. Although she was actually useless.
Yes she wasn't really selfish. It was a selfless act. She said it was selfish because at that moment she didn't care about those who would cry her death if she happened to die. She just wanted to try to save Naruto from dying.
