The point is Kaguya got all powers. All. You know how push a character works. It's like wrestling or anything in media. Like Zelda first game ever. Hype up Ganon without knowing what to expect but you know he's powerful. Hagoromo put her over like a mofo by saying she's stronger than him, she has more power than him, and of course, it's a safe bet of game over. That's all it is. Don't have to dwell on it so much. It's a push that a character needed. Besides, at least she used Byakugan into good use to determine the power that they received. Unlike Hinata, she probably find out what Naruto ate for breakfast.

That's wrong too. How can she have all powers when some powers weren't even invented until long after she died? I doubt she can use the Edo Tensei, but then again, why would she used that sort of technique?

Chakra kind of reminds me of Adam from BioShock or even Eridium from Borderlands. You can use it to do anything, but you have to figure out how to use it to make it do that specific thing.

Problem is, no matter how powerful a person is there has to be limits. Especially considering that even though she is that powerful she is still not a god tear level character.

It's like giving Superman the powers of a Green Lantern without him actually possessing a Green Lantern ring.

I became a fan of Kaguya the moment I saw her blast her grandsons away in the lava. That's one badass granny.

 

 

At first she thought that it was Hagoromo and Hamura. If her grandsons (in a sense) was blast in a lava, what will her sons situation be? Shoot to the moon while screaming "HOW DARE YOU DEFY YOUR MOTHER!!!" ?

Okay, so here is the thing...I still believe Kaguya is the Gedo Mazo or the Gedo Mazo is what became of her after being devoured by the Ten-Tails she literally became the ten-tails herself.

My thoughts and theory

1. How did Kaguya "die?" It's never specified how she was eventually defeated and how the Tsukuyomi was ended considering that several evidence was put forth that she has used this before. Perhaps the two sons battled and defeated her and seperated her chakra. This would explain how she is alive right now as Obito was in possestion of the Gedo Mazo that kept him alive and Black Zetsu was the one who mentions this.

The Gedo Mazo also has a blind fold covering it's two eyes and forehead. Perhaps a representaiton of the three eyes being sealed? Also looks like a prison

2. It would make sense for her to use the white zetsus against her own sons who rebelled against her in a huge war and it would make sense why it would require two of them. As indicated it said she used these before, but against what? I feel she used it against her sons.

3. When she first saw Naruto and Sasuke powers she mentioned her two sons first. This could imply that she has fought with them before. It could also imply as well with that fact she wants to end them now so as they don't catch on to how to defeat her as she has been defeatedt before.

4. Why did the tailed beast take so long to try and take back the chakra? The way the story seems, it feels like the beast waited till the Hagoromo was a man before it attacked which is like what 20 years at least. Why wait so long? Shouldn't it start like attacking immediatly or could it be that the ten-tails and Kaguya are connected? Maybe the tree Obito made was not the ten-tails, but Kaguya herself. Or at least a part of her.

5. Maybe Kaguya was split into parts to make sure she was sealed indefinitly. Gedo Mazo is the body. Ten-tails the chakra. The Tree is her mind and Black Zetsu her will. Put them together you get Captain Planet.

6. If Hagoromo and his brother fought their mother, it would explain on why he knows about a lot of things and prevented them. Also explains his speech when he said that Madara is trying to possess the same powers as his mother. Wouldn't he already possess it now? There is more to it than what is being said here.

I haven't hammered out all the details and some details might even not matter as Kishi could just alter it all on a whim if he wanted. He has done it before.

I am convinced the Gedo Mazo is Kaguya's body.

Also, that reminds me, why does Sasuke even have the Rinnegan anyway? Indra didn't have the Rinnegan, so why would unlocking that power give him the Rinnegan?

I don't think it's that they unlocked power their previous incarnations had, Hagoromo just handed them some powers.

Also it's interesting that Jiraiya at first thought that Naruto and Sasuke might be Hagoromo and Hamura's reincarnations. It makes it seem like they themselves had reincarnated at one point.

That's not how it looks like from Naruto's stand point. His powers seems almost mirrored to Ashura's. Even his tailed beast form is similar.

We also have Sasuke's Rinnegan not even the same as Madara's or the Hagoromo's, but more like Kaguya's which makes no sense.

Jubi is kaguya, I believe both brother doesn't know the fact that their mother become a juubi thus assuming juubi is the tree avatar.
Kaguya become the juubi because, she absorb the tree or absorb too much natural energy or absorb the chakra from IT. Thus she become juubi like we know and goes rampage until hagoromo and his brother seal it(along with their mother).

I believe all living being has chakra but only those who have sentient and finger can perform ninjutsu aka miracle.

Idk why, but the word "hippie" popped into my head when I read her dialogue lol. 

 

@James, ever since Kaguya was shown with the sharinnegan, I always had this thought that the Juubi and Kaguya were the same being, or the Juubi itself is Kaguya's body. My simple guess is after being obsessed with power, Kaguya's mind/will somehow merged (or became trapped) with the God Tree, which left Hags and Ham having to deal with Kaguya's body/Juubi....something like that. This is one of those few instances where I'm really anticipating flashbacks. I find the Ootsutsuki far more interesting than that clown named Madara and I'm just wondering where Kishi plans to go from here.

There is one thing that was said by the Rikudou about her mother. "Her mother's power create conceit." Even if we look in reality, great power that was uncontrolled can even turn us into a monster. The same probably happen to Kaguya, as well. Sasuke said that her chakra was definitely not human, being so much that it is unbearable and unthinkable. Being the most powerful at her time, seen as the goddess by mere human, brought cause to her conceit maybe? Slowly and inevitably, she herself turn into something else, which is the Juubi.

My thoughts are like these.

 

1. The powers that the fruit granted was an immense amount of chakra, as well as the ability to control the tree itself, using a forbidden technique she gained from eating the fruit, she used the Byakugan as a form of moon reflection, while casting the eternal genjutsu with her super sharinnegan, then used the tree to cast the final touches, sealing that person in a dream world, while they're bodies slowly transformed into her Zetsu army...or Seal Team Z.

 

2. The Juubi...or rather The Shinju saw what was going on, how Kaguya was using his own power to destroy his children, decided to take action, for every person that she put into the genjutsu, he sucked out a little bit of chakra, indiscriminately. Until it had enough, and bang...right on the liver.

 

3. Then came her two sons, who realized that in a future timeline the tree will ounce again give fruit, and history will repeat itself. Either that, or they wanted revenge for Mommy. Well you kind of know the story from then on.

I agree, it makes no sense. I guess it's just a way to make Sasuke unique.

And Sasuke has the Sharingan which was Indra's before he unlocked Indra's powers. They both exhibit powers and abilities long before the sage powers were actually awakened.

The problem I face is is that naruto gained abilities that Ashura had like manipulating the black rods and creating them and such, but Sasuke gains something that his supposed previous being never had or was specified to have. Why?

Unless Kishi written himself into a corner and said "Well, he alreayd has Indra's basic abilities, so I have give him something to really counter act Naruto's boost. I can't just give him a normal Rinnegan because that wouldn't make sense compared to Madara's. It has to be special."

And why not give Naruto the rinnegan then? It would make just about as much sense, but I guess we have to make Sasuke special and important somehow.
