This is a small minor thing, but I'm soooooooo glad Gaara told Sakura to get on his MOVING sand. So HInata can't sneak up and ruin the moments to come.

Man you got to love how certain people downplay NS by saying she's healer so obviously she's gonna do it , she doesn't know about Sasuke if she did it would have been different she would have gone to him , and Hinata falling doesn't mean a thing Sakura will run out of chakra and Hinata will come and save Naruto by using Tanketsu . I know people hate Sakura but can they just look at the context for just a minute and see it for what it is that is not so hard
.

My thoughts exactly. It would be out of character for Hinata NOT to go try and safe Naruto. With this we can see that Hinata tried but couldn't do anything.
Also what was up with Hinata on this page? I think she forgot she was a Hyuuga for a second:

He clearly shows that, and why Sakura is a main Heroine.
Hinata in a way represents the Old Sakura, one that would abandon her teammates, her village for Sasuke, shown by the fact she left her post, uselessy wasting little chakra she had left, to chase after Naruto, who was in the hands of one of best medics in NV. She is so centred around Naruro she fails to see the bigger picture, and no, it is not okay just because he is the main character.
On the other hand, Sakura, who has not only run out of Chakra cloak, but her own chakra as well, keeps doing her best to keep Naruto alive, using her power. The power she obtained herself, she had no advantages, she started of at the rock bottom. It was her determination to be able to do something to save Naruto, and not only Naruto but to save her Teammates that had bought her this far. She more than deserves the title of Heroine, anyone who says otherwise is just ignorant.

I usually don't care about what others say, but 662 was all about relationships. Period. That's all. And not just romantic relationships. There's no way around it, so I don't understand the annoyance some feel that some of us are focused upon relationships.
I’m aware that I might be teased BUT I still feel as if my analysis has been affirmed. I mean the very fact that rock, or air, or whatever prevented Hinata from reaching Naruto nearly confirms all my Hinata and NaruHina analysis (I joke about it, but when analyzing it seriously there was no reason to include that, it would have been better for Hinata and NaruHina if there hadn’t been a moment). So I almost feel like…ack…I’m reading the manga in the right way…maybe?

I just realised something completely off-topic, Tobi's wacky personality was the Zetsu Madara left with Obito all this time, it was a clue that if Obito did indeed change sides there was a Zetsu with him at all times that would act as a trigger to make sure Obito followed the plan.

That's an interesting theory. Did the anime give them the same voice actor?

I don’t know if I’m the only one thinking about that; but I can’t help thinking Kishi didn’t take Sakura with Gaara’s sand randomly.
I mean, look, Gaara was not searching for Sakura, like a lot of NS fans were expecting, but he was looking for Tsunade. But isn’t a little to coincidentally that Tsunade was randomly out of chakra, and that the only one who still has a little chakra was SAKURA.
So, I’m sure Kishi has something in store about Sakura. Picking up Sakura among the medical shinobi (Tsunade or Shizune), is like a foreshadow to me. He could have not use the excuse of “not enough chakra” and take Tsunade, period. But he intentionally choose Sakura.
So, do you think the same? That the set up for Sakura to go with Gaara shows that something will happen with Sakura (Romantic or not)?

Also I wonder what will happen with Madara now. I wonder if we will get Naruto and Sasuke’s healing in the first place or Madara’s fight first.

You know I've started thinking about this throughout the whole day. This definitely does look like Sakura's character will be set up in this volume, as far as next chapter goes, let's just wait and see. I know i've been saying that alot recently, but it is good to hold some patience for these things. Though I will say that Kishi taking a break for chapter 663 means that something's gonna happen. I don't why, but I just get that feeling.

I see people on tumblr saying they saw no NS or SK, but... NaruHina in the last chapter. NaruHina! *facepalm*
Edit: maybe HINAnaru
I see this everywhere since yesterdays: "There was no NS in this chapter", "it's normal for Sakura to be worried about a friend", "I don't see how this chapter made the love subplot ongoing".
It looks like they are trying to deny the possibilities that this chapter is offering for futures chapter. They fail to see that most of us are hyped, not only for this chapter, but mostly because of what might happen in the future.
And as fot the Hinata's translation. Even if mangastream is right, I don't see it as a forshadowing sentence. It's more like a regret to me. She's regretting not having been able to protect Naruto like Neji supposedly asked her to do.

The one thing that may me always believe NS was the endgame, was because I always believe Sakura would always end up with either Naruto and Sasuke. I neither thought about that for the supporting characters, and I always believe she would end up with one of the two. I also NEVER believe Sakura and Sasuke will ever get together, for obvious reasons, so always had some faith that NS will happen. What I am going with this is that the last page presents an interesting parallel between Sakura and Karin. Karin, without a doubt, loves Sasuke, that can not be debated at the moment. Her character may change before the series ends, or Kishi doesn't allow her and Sasuke get together in the end, but at the moment we all know she loves Sasuke. So I find it interesting in the final page, where both Sakura and Karin start worrying that Naruto and Sasuke will die, Kishi had the two panels of the women's faces be parallel ( ) with each other. They are also drawn in similar positions, both looking down the respective man they are helping. See that as it may, yet if Kishi really wanted Sakura and Sasuke to get together, then why didn't he write in a situation where she will be worry about Sasuke. Why instead did he written a situation where Sakura attempts to heal Naruto, only for it to start being futile the more she tries, which could arguably parallel with Karin's discovery that Sasuke is dying. Reminder, we know Karin loves Sasuke at this moment, so why did Kishi drew out the scene between the two groups the way he did in the end.
This is just a theory, and I could very well be wrong. It is just a thought...

is this chapter include in the volume 68?
Oh no, Volume 68 has been long since done (Chapters 648-657). We're in Volume 69, and it's been going on since chapter 658. Remember each volume consists of ten chapters, and right now we just got the 5th one.
And normally when you hit the 5th chapter it means you've just reached the focus of the volume until chapters 8 & 9 (More specially Chapter 665 (8th) and 666 (9th)).
Here's a clear example (like I've displayed alot in the forums)
Volume 69:
658: Bijuu vs Madara (Begging)
659: Limbo Hengoku (Beginning)
660: The Hidden Heart (Beginning)
661: A Failed World (End the Beginning)
662: The End of Reality (Start of the focus)
663: ???????? (Focus)
664: ???????? (Focus)
665: ???????? (Focus/ Possible end of the Focus)
666: ?????? (Complete End of the focus)
667: ?????? (End of The Volume)
so clearly we still have around a good 5 weeks (6 now thanks to Kishi) left before this volume ends.
