There are some certain points that match, you know? The One - The Savior, The infinite Tsukuyomi - The Matrix, The prophecies, the oracle -gamma dai sennin, Trinity - Sakura and yadda yadda.

Why is it far-fetched when Kishi himself said he's a fan of Matrix and inspired dunno what from it? It doesn't have to be the exact thing but points at the high peek here and there.

For Neo when he was faced with this thing to save either the girl or the world it was pretty tough and he has moments of doubt himself along the way [generally speaking] just like Naruto.

Nearly every story has one or two points that can somehow be compared to Naruto since its a common way of story telling but the theme of matrix is completly different from naruto. Only because it has an Oracle, a prophecy and a girl in it doesnt make it similar.

Based on the author notes from the early volume, at least there're three major influence in this manga. Those are dragon ball, akira(especially the movie), and the matrix. And he like movie. Well I don't think kishi would make it happen 100% just like the matrix, but I think we can understand how his manga work.

But seeing how the story goes do you think Sakura will be killed? I somehow think she will be in mortal danger. Even this panel from this chapter showed that Sakura isn't exactly ok but it's a result of the attack made by the Juubi ( do we call it the Juubi or now god tree?)

Naruto will save Sakura-Chan and the rest will come second imo . But Naruto won't let Sakura-Chan die I garuntee that . She will be in mortal danger I know that but Naruto will not let her die .

Look, if you don;t like the idea, fine, it's your own thing, but since some of us acknowledge the fact that there is a similarity, maybe it wouldn't hurt to let us talk about it?

It doesn't have to fully be similar, just idea used in the original plot.

Obito's world crumbled because of Rin, what would happen if Sakura dies or is near to death? How would Naruto handle it? His world would crumble too or he'll keep fighting? Now that you put it like that it actually makes a hella lot of sense . The war might end just like that . i for one would like to see his love test and watch him choose Sakura-Chan .

I personally think if anything Sakura is going to ask sai to take her to Naruto so that she can heal him. That's just me though.. I can also see naruto refusing the claim since he doesn't want her to get hurt but she doesn't listen to him and helps him anyway.

 

That would  be so much win ^_^. If anything we'll get the Obi/Rin sooner than we thought.
 

 

I believe the fruit is rinnegan, and the sop born with that.
I think kishi really2 use the matrix reference from the dream world, the prophetie, and the chosen one. That's why I think the next volume sakura will face somekind of dead just like what happen to trinity in the matrix reload. Maybe naruto will face the same dillemma that what will naruto choose the world or the girl.

I don't know, maybe the charka fruit shifted and spawned something in his eyes , it must be connected to what Tobirama said  about the Sharingan. We know that Senji and Uchiha are the embodiment of the Sage .  Still we have little info on Kaguya , did she had those eyes or that's because of the Juubi ?

That would be a huge dilemma , but i doubt it since Sakura has 2 plot shields

That's a good question , maybe that's the reason Kishi left that weapon at Bee's possession . Its quite intriguing maybe it can steal chakra back and return it to his respectful owner ?

That is only one scenario that is possible but has no back up just because matrix has something similar like an oracle or a prophecy.
Besides thaf matrix has no dream world where everyones wish come true.

So it seems that not everyone is happy about the reveal that we got in this chapter. Personally I sort of like it, I was hoping for something better but the explanation we got is okay it works. It's a lot better that Sakura's contrived power-up or Tobi's reveal which was horribly executed or the retcon we got with the "Reaper Death Seal" or Izanami or any another retcon and contrived thing we got so far. This chapter answered some questions but raised others at the same time. For example why didn't the Juubi attack the princess when she stole the fruit? Why didn't the Juubi attack Kaguya before she gave birth to the Rikudou Sennin? Why wait until someone can stop you? How did the humans knew that eating that fruit would give you powers? And on and on. Maybe we will get an answer maybe not. One thing I'm certain of Naruto will use the power of the Tailed Beasts because lets face it they are completely outmatched so somehow Naruto will use the power the Tailed Beasts gave him. We will also find out what exactly is Naruto's connection with the Rikudou Sennin, is he the reincarnation of him, is he a second version of the Sage or is he someone that this stands for the same things the Rikudou stood for.
