Well I think we can all agree that this chapter has wrapped up the current arc, and Chapter 70 is going to be the start of a new arc.

 

 

So The big question is what did you guys think of this arc overall from the beginning (Chapter 51) to the ending ( Chapter 69)?

I've enjoyed it very much. Good action. A lot of theories have seemingly been destroyed, and yet so many other things need answers. Of course the two big ones are "what's in the basement" and "what did humanity do to deserve the titans?"

 

If everything we are told has been true, then it's good to remember that the "True kings" have allowed this nightmare to continue, despite the fact that they all could have stopped it because of the "sins of humainity". What could mankind possibly have done to deserve such a hell?

I'd definitely have to agree, The Uprising Arc was properly based from start to finish. It gave a kitten done of development for Eren and especially to Historia's character. At the same time Levi got his special case of development in this arc as well the same can be said about Kenny as well. 

 

Also if you really look at it from a grand stand this arc is actually really important to the story, yes we didn't have titans for the majority of the arc but I like that it brought something fresh and new to the story of AoT and I really appreciate Isayama for giving that to us.

It was a good arc, specially for the development of some characters, it also further showed why AOT is different than other generic shonens by making various characters enter a grey moral area. I liked the whole lot of revelations we had and I think it's going to be even better in anime form since the manga pacing was the arc worst problem.

 

Now since the problems inside the wall have been taken care off, I'm anxious to see what's going to be the survey corps next step and what "monkey trouble" has been planning

I can imagine the look on all the Anime only watcher's look when they watch the second season.

Well I hope it gives us some sort of small time skip giving us a general view of the consequences of the past arc, hope it's a chapter that already gives us what the survey corps are planning to do to get close to their goal that should be to close the hole in Wall Maria and reach the basement

Interesting I knew a new chapter was close to be releasing, but I wasn't expecting spoilers until Sunday at the very least. Oh well this is a good sign for sure and I can't wait to see how Chapter 70 concludes this volume.
