The final fight, just felt so forced.
I think what Sasuke and Naruto really needed to do was talk it out. They were already on the same side to fight the multiple villains that kept showing up, the only thing they lacked was a resolution to all their past problems. It's kinda funny how Kishi made Naruto TNJ all the villains, but when it came to the character, who needed it most, Kishi put little dialogue in the fight and just had them beat each other up, until Sasuke, for whatever reason, just said "kitten it" and gave in.
It seemed Kishi tried to show, that for a long time Sasuke was aware of his similarities to Naruto and their bond, but did not want to accept it. But, what I was confused about, was why did he accept it after that short term fight? What made it more impactful, than the one at the end of part one? When, I ask myself this, it just makes me think that Kishi was creating drama between SNS for the sake of drama and not for a credible reason. The only difference was that Sasuke knew the truth behind his family, but he already knew that, while fighting with Naruto, so what was the need to fight against him? As pointed out, Sasuke saw what happened to Madara, when he tried to force his way, so why not try a different approach to work out the issues with the system?
Not only would that have helped us understand the ninja world a little better, but we could see Naruto's maturity, we could have seen Sasuke and Sakura talk properly about the problems between them, and it could have shown how unity was achieved through peace, not by who out fought the other.
I just felt that, the way Kaguya's defeat( no matter how kitten the battle) was concluded, made it seem like it was the end of the combat problems and time to move into more diplomatic and analytical problems that needed to be addressed. Showing the series slowly winding down into a new brighter future, with Naruto at the lead and Sakura and Sasuke by his side.
But instead we miss the how everything happened and just see the outcome, which is why the ending felt rushed and incomplete.( especially since we didn't get Naruto doing a recap of his challenges, to how he got to where he was in the end. Though, if the anime team cares enough, which I doubt, they could do this themselves.)
