Because as associates of the otaku community they want to pretty up what appeals most. It's odd because there are other girls they could heighten the physical attraction with good animation and artwork if it means so much to them like Tsunade, Shizune, and Karin.

tbh, I agree with tsuki on the SP's part. Their animation are kinda sh*tty on everything, not only sakura. Rather, SP is really a sh*tty animation team. Just see their other anime that they do....

Yea, SP just really sucks as an animation studio. Look at LoK

They kitten on every character that isn't Hinata. They kitten Naruto, Sasuke, Kakashi, etc.

The animators are not THE studio. They are employees of a studio who are given directives to complete. They have likes and dislikes of their own. They probably didn't sit there and think "MAN i really hope we can blow the whole budget on Hinata! I sure do looooove drawing dem boobies! " but rather "kitten, I hope I get a bonus for this long ass fight scene...whadd'ya mean I'm taking a pay cut? well kitten you too!! -draws kittentier panels-" 

You need to think about what you are saying. the animators are not in charge of the story boards, or what the producers and directors WANT. They just put it together. 

So, you are saying that the directors are the ones who says to them "hey! i don't care if you draw hrrible the rest of the episode, just make sure hinata shines". Because that there is someone biased, there is.

Right, It literally has nothing to do with it being SAKURA its the STUDIO not individual animators with a bone to pick.

Sometimes DISCREPANCIES happen. Animators look at the character sketches, and go from that. 
 
for the most part they DO animate them decently. These animation problems have been around since BEFORE Hinata's movie and even before filler Atheck.

It has nothing to do with Hinata that they have spotty work. 


You people are getting beyond petty at this point. 

You want to blame people, blame SP, not the ANIMATORS who are just doing what they are told and trying to get it done on time.

 

I actually enjoyed the animation before...I never thought it was biased but I do feel like they animate better during filler or when Naruto isn't around (such as when they showed how Obito changed), the one thing I don't like is how they do her hair in the war arc, but alot of characters get badly drawn like Obito in that one episode where transform to the white thing (I forgot alot of Naruto)

However, this doesn't take away the fact that SP is also a dirty hotbed of NH fans. Jesu christ, there's even a FanClub dedicated to her. Just look at the treatment they have reserved to her in Pain arc.
I'm still laughing after what I have read in the blog of SP linked by Ramen about a guy of their staff who has criticized Neji to be an abuser and praised Hinata-sama-hime-whatever.

No, otaku is the reason why anime become stagnant and character is not human(three dimension) because Hayao Miyazaki think that otaku doesn't understand human because they don't communicate with them. I think.

General question, is the pejorative connotation to Otaku a recent thing? Is it's pejorative connotation in the West a recent thing?

 

I was pretty heavily involved in the DBZOA (DBZ Otaku Alliance) many, many moons ago, and after it was rebranded as the OA (Otaku Alliance) and I don't remember the same negativity associated with the term. Of course, this was a very different time and the popularity of anime in the US especially was still limited to episodes of DBZ and Sailor Moon on Toonami.

Directors and producers ARE the ones who look over the final project and okay or reject it. They are also the people with the most control over what's going on so you tell me. Do you think they would okay something they disliked?

But like you said, they don't really talk with other people that much and just spend time reading mangas/watching anime(which I don't think is bad, to a certain extent).

To be honest no way in hell that they're going to admit the movie is bs. Sawyer might say there are a couple of things wrong with it but overall I say he will like it. And whateverworld well already worshiped Hinata so of course he's going to love it and declare that it's the best Naruto movie ever made.

Funny thing is, if it was our "win" - NH and SS could live with that and watch the series, they could say "oh, okay, at least we didn't loose to nothing, it was heavely pushed in manga and anime" and characters didn't became OOC. But now this kitten is what happend, not only NS fandom is broken, but big part of Naruto fandom will remember Naruto as a good/midcore manga with kitten ending. Part of hardcore fans that was true to story - won't even look at post 698 kitten ever again, surely they read 699/700 to end the misery of story. Pairing aside, do any of you satisfied with how Naruto became hokage? Because there was no proclaming from him with a scene of Ibiki/Iruka/Ebisu saying "kitten, he did it even staying genin" or some panel with gost or even a memory of Minato/Kushina/Sarutobi/Jiraiya and etc people who was precious to Naruto. All we got, is Sasuke's drama-like monologue, Sakura fangirl, and "look there is whole bunch of new chapters copies from now old generations, look, whole part 2 don't even got mentioned, how do you like it?" It feels like "hokage" stuff thrown in there, just for fans could recognize this person as Naruto, it's like "hey, catch this bone, you little kitten" to Naruto fans that wasn't looking for Hinata and Sasuke. Biggest "kitten you" I ever saw.
