I agree Derock, I mean I've been off last two days feeling very ill still am as I might need to go to the hospital. Again, last time it was thanks to a bad chest infection which is back doctors will tell me tomorrow.

It's because I'm on five types of drugs for my arthritis which sadly has gotten worse. But yes I agree with what you say as I don't what to get involved.

 

Hope you'll be OK, Evil. Last year, I had a bout in the hospital for sepsis, and it wasn't fun!

Thanks, everyone I just got back today from the Hospital today still feeling weak and tired, but that's mainly thanks to the Hospital and lack of good food and having a damn IV in my arm to pump the drug I needed to get over the chest infection, but however when I did get back someone did a Pokemon the Last movie, as a damn parody to Naruto the Last with the same backdrop and everyone.

 

No fear I will not stain your eyes with such trash unless you want me too, but yeah it had the whole wedding credits from that kitten film.

 

Anyway, I hope everyone else is okay being in the Hospital gave me time to think on a topic called what makes a good villain.

Well, Ash is Naruto which is just bad Serena is Hinata and Misty is Sakura.

sounds about right, serena is pretty much the ash fangirl of the companions, I've always felt her crush is shallow, I mean she meets ash one time at a summer camp, then never again til his kalos journey and doesn't remember her, yet he's obligated by all these fans to return her feelings just because she kissed him? and misty was pretty much the sakura of pokemon. seriously its these 3 tsunderes all theses fanbases seem to hate for stupid reasons, misty, amy rose, and sakura, and they're not even that bad, there are tsunderes much worse. and misty uses a wooden mallet and doesn't try  to kill ash, sonic is super durable and can withstand amy's hammer(I mean sure she was a pretty big sonic fangirl but she's grown out of it for the most part and is the heroine of sonic.), same with naruto with sakura's fists, plus they all never use their full strength, they never try to kill the guy they care about, its all comedic, which is why I find the hate for the characters dumb.

if you say so, I definitely don't see the so called development though, it looked onesided on serena's part to me. plus ash had big development with misty too. also xy was popular because of ash actually doing well and almost winning the league, not serena. every one of the pokeshippers didn't  watch xy because they switched to ashxserena and started liking serena,that didn't happen, they watched xy hoping ash would win the league after 19-20 years and he made 2nd, beating his sinnoh record, serena isn't the reason xy was so good.

I mean yeah, serena is a companion unlike a rarely seen side character like hinata , but she's still a fangirl companion of ash, and her fanbase can be pretty toxic from what I've seen, heck some of them are even naruto proender hinata fans. not all serena fans are like that, but I've seen my fair share on youtube harassing people.

I'm sorry but I don't see Serena as a fangirl during her adventures with Ash and company in X&Y series. That girl had way more character development. She is nowhere near as annoying as you say and plus she's way better than the "unimportance" in Naruto. There shouldn't been any comparison between the two at all.

I guess fangirl is the wrong term for it, rather I just find the crush shallow, since she barely knew him, only met him one time before xy in a summer camp when they were little, all of a sudden its true love? I don't see it. but meh, lets just agree to disagree. I agree she's better than hinata though.

I'm just saying just because she was a companion doesn't mean she's for sure gonna end up with him over kissing him when other characters did it before, even if they weren't companions. plus we haven't seen any feelings for serena from ash, just friendship. anyways getting off topic though.

Yeah but if they did I'm sure it would be done better than NH and SS I mean god the writers of Pokemon may be lazy but at least they know not to do something that stupid but it seems many as  with the image I posted want that to be the wedding for Pokemon just like the last hence why I posted it.

I agree but at the same time any girl that has a crush on Ash would be sort of shallow too, going by that logic wouldn't you think? Especially those that don't even travel with him. Even Misty wasn't given a specific reason to start liking him, but that is the difference between Ash's female friends that have a crush on him versus Hinata. The girls travel with Ash, develop along side him and get to know him better. Serena's crush STARTED as shallow but you can't say that at the end of the XY saga because she develops her own goal and sees Ash more as a person rather than her rose colored fantasy of him from when they first met. In fact they did have one fight. But again at least  she gets to know Ash as a person, but you can't even say remotely the same thing for Hinata. Seriously can you recall ONE TIME Hinata went out of her way to talk to Naruto and NOT faint in a casual civilian setting? Or Naruto? did he ever go out of his way to talk to Hinata and grow closer to her?

 

Ultimately my point is Serena's context is different from Hinata so you can't really say they are similar. Serena has never been all "Ash this, Ash that, I want to MARRY YOU Ash Ketchum!!!!!!!!!" And most importantly she develops her own interests and aspirations that don't involve Ash, where as Hinata is completely in the mind set of "I'LL DO ANYTHING TO MAKE N-NARUTO-KUN NOTICE ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE ACKNOWLEDGE MY EXISTENCE N-NARUTO-KUN!!!!!!!!!!!
