Something from the third episode of my fanfic, with Naruto explaining to Sakura why he stands up for Sasuke, and why he is determined to defend him, since he doesn't have the obsession of failing to get him back for Sakura in the Sasuke Retrieval Arc, and I figure it'd make sense the biggest thing which is never told or shown is that Naruto can relate to Sasuke on how if he was in his shoes, he could give into hate and anger from his loneliness, but he chose a different path.

Oh that's true I agree Superman is powerful, but I don't agree that nothing can beat him hell my brother has a tone of Superman comics and he has been beaten in a fight hell found a vid on 10 people who have won but I know not all are counted as you know many versions of him but, from what my brother who is a big big Superman fan.

 

However, as he said no hero is without weakness or even faults, Superman in his younger years had made mistakes, (If fans count the younger days before he became Superman.)

 

Hell in Injustice 2 Superman kills Joker, which for the Joker is a win as many would say that the Joker did beat Superman in a fight, that's true, but he got Superman to kill him. After all, this is something that the Joker wants from heroes for them to kill him to show that they can be just as much as a monster as he is.

 

I mean, make no mistake I still love Superman, but I know a few in DC can beat Superman if they had the time mind you.

My brother said that all you need to do is move Superman away from our Sun which is the source of his power, not one thing he has no clue on is when we talked about this was how long the power would take to fade away.

 

He did say a blue sun can take away his power. However, he is not sure if that's completely changed now, as that is pissing him off that they keep changing it up all the time. I say this as he has a wife and kids that he looks after right now.

Okay with that being said every fictional character has moments of plot induced stupidity...even Goku. Tell me, how many issues could have been solved just by making Goku immortal? How many times could Vegeta have wished for immortality? If the dragon can grant immortality...can't it also take it away?

Like I said, and I have already mentioned, the author does whatever they can to create drama and more.
Lost to Roshi first time out.
Let's look at Goku's track record.
Lost to Radditz and needed Piccolo's help to defeat him.
Won againt Nappa, but lost against Vegeta. If not for the help of Gohan, Krillian,and several other things...as well.
Won against Ginyu force and Frieza. (Probably the only wins he got legitimitly without alot of help...save for Ginyu who used a cheating technique that probably would have left Goku wandering.)
Lost to a disease and the Androids. (No real excuse here as he KNEW he was going to get the disease. Info he got from Trunks)
Lost to Cell, Gohan finished the fight.
Lost to Buu more or less. This was a long battle that Goku would have definitly if not for some MAJOR plot convenience and still more help.
Lost to Beerus who was only at 70% power and against plot convenience that Goku retains his SSJG powers.
Lost to Golden Frieza in Round 2....Whis cheated by reversing time.
Lost multiple times to Jiren
and is probably going to get his ass kicked by Broly in the new movie.

So, for all the hype people have about Goku...he doesn't have a good track record and I am not even listing everything here.

Heck, let's look at another hero we all know and used to love.

Naruto.
Won against Kiba
Won against Neji
Won against Gaara
Sort of Won against Zabuza
Lost against Orochimaru
Lost against Sasuke who could have killed him there, but left hm alive.
Lost against Itachi
Won against Kakuzu
Won again Pain
Won against Black Zetsu

And so on and so forth. Gains godlike powers...at least Godlike in the Naruto verse...and least we forget...Naruto lost TO HIS OWN DAUGHTER.

Now how many would call kitten or plot induced drama on this one or any of the ones I mentioned above? Yeah I would too on some of them. Truth is, writers will write anything, regardless if it makes sense, just to push tension and any real reader will know that it is garbage tier writing. Shall we bring up Spider-Man's One More Day? We know Spider-Man would NEVER make a deal with the devil...ever, but in this story he did because "reasons." These are ficitonal stories after all and really what is really stopping some characters from just steamrolling other characters into the ground?

I can't believe I really have to explain this. Like, do people have to take stories so...literally? Not one person thinks it odd when a comic book character or a manga character does something so stupid that it is just like unbelievable that they would do such a thing?

The video you posted brings up the Injustice comic where Alfred supposedly beats up Superman in probably one of these most ridiculous scenes I have ever seen (Ingoring the fact that somehow everyone gets their hands on the Superman pill.), but let us never forget that in the same comic universe Nightwing, aka kitten Grayson, dies from tripping over a rock and snapping his own neck. I am not even joking

Now, show of hands who thinks this is just really, really, stupid? I do. I know Nightwing would never go out this way if he even goes out at all. Should I start saying "Hey look, Nightwing is so weak that a piece of small rubble can kill him. Look he can be beat by a rock." No, again, stupidity and ridiculous drama for the sake of plot. Alfred supposedly is strong enough to beat up Superman, but get slashed to death by Victor Zsasz. Martian Manhunter gets blasted by Superman's heat vision to death. Several characters were killed by an atomic bomb. Some were killed by Superman himself.

Core of their character.

I look beyond the plot induced stupidites and the ridiculous forced drama that some writers put in over favoritism. Superman has, in some stories, got his ass kicked by some characters in a book that purposely makes Superman a chump, but when written correctly Superman always wins and he has shown to kick the enemies that once kicked his ass in one book and rightfully kicked theirs in another. This is why he has never been perma-death. Superman always finds a way to win. It is just his real character.

I mean, how many people think Batman can win any fight? I bet alot of people do, but people also know that Joker, Bane, and almost all of Batman's villains has kicked his ass at least once to the point that Batman barely got out by the skin of his teeth...and yet people still say that with enough prep-time Batman will win. Yes, at the core of his character Batman can win almost any fight, but different stories yeld different results to which people pick and choose what they want to count and what else not to count. People think Batman can always defeat Superman, but more often than not Superman kicks Batman's ass and even Batman admits this.

So please, for the love of god, can at least one other person can understand where I am coming from? I know Shadow Wolf does. Naruto got his ass kicked by his own daughter despite being a god among most ninja....does this mean Naruto is super weak now or think this is garbage? Does this diminish every other thing Naruto has done? Look at Death Battle's version of Naruto vs Ichigo. Do you think Ichigo should have won because Naruto gets his ass kicked by known weaker characters? Honestly.

P.S. Blue suns increase Superman's powers not take them away and taking Superman away from a yellow sun slowly decreases Superman's powers. It is not an instant off button for Superman. If your friend is a real Superman fan he would know this.

10. Orion has never beaten Superman. The only time he got knocked out was when Superman was basically Noobperman, and was much younger and weaker and got hit with the Astro Force. When they fought, Superman was speedblitzing the hell out of him and was knocking him on his ass.

 

9. The Alfred scene wasn't canon.

 

8. The fight where Wonder-Woman broke his arm wasn't canon either. In the canon fight, Superman was straight up manhandling Wonder-Woman to the point where she even admitted to herself that she couldn't take him on in a straight up fight and had to go after Maxwell Lord to stop him from controlling Superman.

 

7. Superman is superior to Zod in every way. Zod cannot beat Superman in a fight. Superman has tanked hits from an amped up Zod, Faora, and Non, while weakened from lack of sunlight. 

 

6. I love how he failed to mention that when Superman got pissed off, he destroyed Lex while in that suit, and he was using Superman's main weakness.

 

5. Captain Marvel uses Superman's vulnerability to MAGIC, and even then, Captain Marvel would get wrecked. Superman has no vulnerability to magic anymore, and he would destroy Captain Marvel even more.

 

4. Lol, that shouldn't even be posted in the video. Superman had no powers when he fought Ali.

 

3. and he failed to show how Superman was hurling Darkseid to the sun, how he speedblitzed him, and also how he has punched Darkseid's eyes shut. But of course, lowballing is much easier.

1. Doomsday only beat BYRNE'S Superman who at the time could barely survive a nuke and had trouble lifting ships, and could die if he stayed in space too long. Besides, when Superman decided it was time to end it, he broke Doomsday's neck.  Superman has ripped Doomsday in half before as well.  Superman was kicking Doomsday's tail in Superman:Rebirth as well, but Dan Jurgens wrote it, so of course, he won't let his creation Doomsday stay down.

 

Superman will always win no matter who is put in front of him, he has beaten multiversal and universal gods before. Blue stars increase his powers as well as the yellow sun. Superman's cells store the sunlight like a battery, he was able to fly around the universe for 60 days with lack of sunlight. He gets stronger under the yellow sun everyday, that includes his invulnerability, strength, and speed.

1: It's my older brother who is married now be so for about eight years Married the girl he met each other at a con he was dressed up like Naruto, and she was dressed up as Sakura, both hate the ending, but they have more things to deal with at this present time.

 

2: He forgot about it man he has a lot to deal with a 2nd kid is on her way plus his son birthday is coming up next weekend, he as a little more than a comic hero's weakness to remember. I'm sure you can understand this confusion that my brother got he wants to make sure his daughter will have all she needs when she is born.

 

Hell, I'm busy and under stress why do you think I have been gone getting a job that doesn't mean neither of us are not fans, we have far more important things going on in our lives right now that we have to think over.

Some bad like 699-700 and the last.  Excuse me while I through up...(throws up on all pictures.) But anyway we also have good things like this...

 

 

 

We might not have had NaruSaku canon but after Kishi's stupid writing and the Bolt character being unlikeable, I think it's maybe for the best. I'm proud of being a NaruSaku fan and I'm glad I get to talk to you guys some more.

What's funny is if Kishi hadn't kittened it up, you could have kept Boruto and Sarada. Boruto could easily be the child of NaruSaku and Sarada could looks way too much like she's the daughter of SasuKarin.

No, it will never be enough because regardless if you read Superman, Naruto, Dragonball Z, or anything fiction in this entire expansive world of story telling...at the end of the day people will play favorites rather than facts. We should know this because Naruto is a massive offender of this. I have already ended this conversation many many many moons ago, but Ultranx wants to continue to argue with me about it and push something to the forefront.

We have members here, and in other fandoms, who want to so badly to enforce their opinion as fact rather than looking what is actually there or they take something so generalized and then say "this is absolute fact."

"Hinata loved Naruto since the beginning so Hinata deserved Naruto from the start." Not once does people ever look at the fact that the story is supposed to be about Naruto, not once does anyone take into consideration that Naruto is the main character. Idealistically, if this is truly a shonen, and in the shonen, as silly and cheap as it is, people say that "The story revolves around the main character" then why wasn't Naruto with Sakura whom he wanted?

And this is the biggest problem with tons and tons of fanbase nowadays. People wants things done a certain way NOT because it would make sense, but because they want it that way. "Batman can defeat Superman." Why? Why does Batman HAVE to beat Superman? Why does Naruto HAVE to be with Hinata? Why does Goku HAVE to be better than Superman? But this is how people think. There is no answer to why.

And I love how Ultranx just goes crying to mommy and likes your post when he is proven wrong. I opened up a Superman Q and A to prevent and still persisted on arguing this fact HERE of all places. So Ultranx, why didn't you go into the Superman Q and A? I really want to know this. Instead of telling people to "Takes this to PM" I am going to ask, why didn't Ultranx make an arguing in PM in the first place or the Superman Q and A thread? Why did you think here was the best place to argue this point? I was trying to end arguments that we look at core of character rather than feats to judge who would win in a fight, but Ultranx so badly wanted to take this conversation in a different way after already ended the conversation many many many moons ago.

So....let me just ask....Does noone have self-responsibility anymore....or does has this gone out of style.

Okay....that's great....but how am I also able to do everything you have typed and yet I still have time to enjoy a Superman comic or manga or anything I want now and again?

What do you think I do all day? I don't sit around on my computer reading comics and manga, I have a life beyond that. I have a job that, with respect, has required me to take the mangaers by the hand and show them how to run a business because apparently they forgot how to "managae" it. I even wroter a 12 page mission statement and have been training new recruits to improve a business that I don't even own or run and I am still only a low tier worker. I take of my nephew almost every week so my brother and his wife can have a day to themselves...and I take care of their dog too a white german shepherd. I am writing my novels that I want to publish while also cleaning my house and taking care of things while my wife is at work working at a chiropracters. I also pays bills and and are currently looking for a new place to live because my apartment is being sold off to a new vender and they won't let us stay. I am also helping my pastor godmother with services at her church on sundays and fixing issues that might occur.

I have to fix my car now and again when it breaks down, I go grocery shopping when I have to and even take care of a sweet old lady in a retirement home who is 95 years old. All the while dealing with works, friends, and other people coming up to me asking me for advice on relationships, life choices, and more. My job is working at a place where I have to watch tons and tons of kids and making sure noone gets hurts and even clean the entire area before closing time in under 30 minutes.

I face challenges every single day that take my time up and yet I still have enough time to read or enjoy things I love. I still have enough time to even come up here and make a response.

How come I can do it, but noone else can? Have can you ever have time if you don't make time? Or better yet, if you don't know or haven't caught up with info, then why enter the debate in the first place? I am getting tired of excuses from everyone. I don't go into debates with people if I don't know what is going on. If I don't know the information I don't get involved because then I look stupid. And I am aware I look stupid.

That's another problem I see...people unwilling to admit that maybe...just maybe they made a mistake and should not have gone into something being uninformed. It is sometimes best to stay out of something instead of throwing in your two cents that may or may not be wrong...and then get angry when you are proven wrong and justifying telling people by making excuses or trying to pull a woe is me story.

We all go through hell, we all go through rought times.....you, your brother, you're not the only ones who goes through so much.....So insult me if you want...tell me I don't understand like everyone else does...because that is a good way to say "You're a big meanie and it's your fault that I don't have time." That's what my managers do all the time while watching TV on their phones during work.

I didn't go into the superman q and a because I was never talking about superman in the first place, I was using goku vs superman as an example of why versus debates are boring to me, never even started talking about the battle, was only mentioning it as an example and was mainly talking sonic vs flash, because we were talking about darkseid and other characters here in the first place, and now you want to act like I started something? when you're the one that brought it up? 2-3 weeks after we dropped it? and  I apologized for everything and  for being rude. NOW PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DROP IT ALREADY SO WE CAN GO BACK ON TOPIC. there was never an argument to calm down, if you read the comments 2-3 weeks ago we all agreed versus debates were dumb and dropped the topic and went back to talking about naruto, then you brought it back up. so no, there was no argument to quell nor did I start it.

It's because I'm on five types of drugs for my arthritis which sadly has gotten worse. But yes I agree with what you say as I don't what to get involved.
