What would happen if naruto found out what Sakura said to sasuke the night he left? About how she would have left with him?

I suspect nothing would happen. Naruto has already seen that his view of Team 7 (up until recently) was horribly outdated. Even if he believed she was being honest then (which seems unlikely, if he was given the full context), that was before the timeskip. Naruto knows that Sakura now is not the same person as she was then.

Well then, that's an interesting question to talk about, well since that was pre-time skip, well assuming at this point, that he knows that she's not the fangirl anymore, I wouldn't think that not much would happen, depends on how the context is displayed. Like if Sakura was the one that told him, she might downplay herself, for matters like these, and Naruto would be the usual forgiving one, and then Sakura would respond with doing something big with Naruto and all would be fine as usual.

Exactly. He knew she was totally besotted with Sasuke back then. Naruto would have recognized something said out of hysterical desperation- wanting to save Sasuke from falling completely into darkness because she cared about him. Everyone knew she said something: knew she had a crush on Sasuke, what she said didn't stop Sasuke from leaving, knew he had knocked her unconscious and left her on the bench.

Sasuke knew right then and there it was just something said out of hysterical desperation. Sasuke made the point of telling her she was like Naruto not like him at all- they were on different paths, the three of them had just traveled along it for a short time, that Sakura and Naruto would continue on the same path (which note, even in this highly emotionally charged moment with her feelings for Sasuke, she doesn't deny in any shape or form- and who does she pour out her emotions to the next day- Naruto, and note as well she doesn't speak of her feelings for Sasuke in that scene- Naruto does.)

In fact, in that scene the only person we see her express feelings in words about is Naruto- in her thoughts immediately after he makes the POAL, and with some of the same words she uses about 3 1/2 years later when she confesses her love to Naruto. The irony was Naruto making the POAL was what triggered Sakura's mostly unconscious romantic feelings for Naruto to become conscious. By the time she goes to Tsunade to ask her to train her, Sakura's feelings for Naruto are already equal to her feelings for Sasuke. And we get a hint in her wording to Naruto in the hospital room before that- in fact what triggers her to go to Tsunade- that her romantic feelings about Sasuke are already starting to become something that she is moving on from. She apologizes to Naruto, and assures Naruto that next time they'll go after Sasuke together, nothing about any romantic feelings she has for Sasuke. (This is what I see many even narusaku fans miss- Sakura already is making a conscious shift from Sasuke to Naruto in her feelings.) There are hints even earlier though that her unconscious feelings for Naruto are starting to become conscious and she's not in any way, shape or form denying or rejecting them. Just look at the scene where Sasuke tells Sakura that it was Naruto that rescued her from Gaara (and remember as well Sasuke is the one that told Naruto to fight Gaara to save Sakura- Sasuke knew Naruto was in love with Sakura, and knew that love would overcome the fear)- she looks disappointed for a moment that it wasn't Sasuke, but then she smiles- with that smile she only does for Naruto. Then it cuts to her at home staring out her window with a daydreaming look, a blush on her face and a smile. She's having romantic daydreams about Naruto and she's happy. (Unlike what you see in too many even narusaku fans expressed feelings about Sakura, Sakura isn't the least bit bothered anymore she is having romantic feelings about Naruto. Even her surprised reaction in chapter 13 about having a moment of romantic attraction for Naruto wasn't repulsion, it was confusion- "why am I having romantic feelings for Naruto right now?" She was already beginning to like him as a friend and a team mate at this point- and was already feeling compassion (over his freezing up in fear when the mercenaries attacked, and his shame over that) and protectiveness toward him (attempting to save him from Kakashi's attack in chapter 5, and throwing herself on top of him when Zabuza first attacked in chapter 10. Note no typical tsundere post protection anger at her action either- she never punishes Naruto for getting her into situations where she reveals some aspect of her feelings for him, it never even crosses her mind. She only goes tsundere toward him for his own actions that aggravate her. Stupidity not rating as high an anger reaction even in part 1. In part 2 Naruto's stupid moments barely causes a reaction. Rudeness and pervertness are her tsundere triggers.)

Which Naruto is completely aware of. In chapter 246, after the wonderful scene where she amazes both Naruto and Kakashi ("Found you!"), Naruto says, "I should stop playing around in front of Sakura... she could kill me...!" But he says this with a dreamy smile on his face. While I'm sure that *some* of his pervy actions are honest/clueless, at least some of them are deliberate teasing of Sakura, as playful banter.

Although it is not stated, Sakura has to be aware of this as well. She is one of the smartest ninja's in the village. (Shikamaru is a better strategist, but it seems like in general she is smarter.)

My younger sister acts bossy and she hits me sometimes as well as my little brother. She also hits her boyfriend sometimes but in a friendly way.

Alright new topic for debate.

Weve allready gone over the so called big three (honestly its only the big one since the other 2 had squat of a chance of happening but thats another discussion) so for fun lets debate this.

NaruSaku and its merits vrs the merits of other Naruto/ relationships. it doesnt matter whether the pairing is crack or impossible or how much or little development.

now too keep the the debate thread focused and clear for the inevitable narusaku moments to come lets keep the debate a few pages or so and well change it up once every couple days to stay fresh.

Well, that's an interesting pairing vs pairing, and since obviously its one of those crack pairings that has no shot of being canon, I assume we'll compare on the basis of personality.

So, well, naruino would be a little more outgoing and more crazy stuff like that and as a reference, I shall point out this fanfic, http://www.fanfictio..._the_Cheap_Ones. Now to be fair, I could not imagine Sakura to do that kind of stuff with Naruto, as much as I would like to, but the chemstry, narusaku has with each other is impalpable. Its like every time, they interact, its always the best of Naruto's character and the best of Sakura's character. On the basis of personality alone, how in the world did Sakura manage to be associated with both of them?

Btw, catsi, that was a very good post for 5000, to get this thread going again.

Edit: Also, can we do sakura-based crack pairings as well? I found a fanfic by Miss Soupy about the various pairings of Sakura and how they interact.

Well, since this is for fun, I guess we can include fillers as well. So there was that time, in part 1, where they had a mission where Ino had to play some sort of princess to this Johnny Bravo-like prince, and it also involved Naruto peeing on the roof and him hengeing into Ino and was being all flirty and sexy (Naruto, not Ino).

They have had a few moments of interaction like when Naruto came back to the village and had to start looking for a new team member. Also when Naruto went to go save Kakashi, Shikamaru, and Choji and Ino from Hiden and I forgot the other guys name. Ino heals him in that chapter I think. I could be wrong.

Just a few moments would be....well when Naruto returns from his training Ino is really happy and excited to see him. Also a little filler moment when he gets back to the village from talking to Nagato she looks at him dreamily and says she could almost fall for him

Obviously they stand no chance against NaruSaku but I think they're a funny and cute couple
