It's a big nation, anime is big there, and Naruto is popular as well. Do the math. How did the Bolt movie apparently get over 9 million in china?
Also, it's the first Naruto movie to air there.
And lastly, the gross is always that high compare to other countries. Like US can make crap load of money from China alone. International release is best bet on China.

I kind of wish we had a source to give us updates about information.

On what?
Preferably, since this is a site about Naruto (more NS mind you but that beside the point). Someone/something who could give us accurate information on how it is actually doing instead of us just guessing or hear say. If just Japan in general...that's fine too.

I'll give the movie this it's alot better than The Last, but that's not saying much now.
THAT'S WHAT HEROES DO, THEY SAVE PEOPLE!!

Any positive number is greater than zero.

I was doing that for a while. I stopped since the movie is technically over. I forgot about China, so I did quick research. It's the first theatrical release of Naruto. China is known with high grossing for USD rate.Preferably, since this is a site about Naruto (more NS mind you but that beside the point). Well what really matters is how much yen SP and SJ get.

You know it does now make sense why they made the SNS expy CD written by a Chinese fan.

It's not a bad Naruto movie.
Listen before you attack me, keep this fact in mind: none of the Naruto movies are really good. They're all mediocre at best and piss poor at worst. I even go as far as to put this one in the Top 5, but that's not really saying much.
I found Boruto to be sympathetic in this film. He just wants to be acknowledged by his father and to have him around more. It's hard to not at least understand where this kid is coming from.
I'll acknowledge the collosal damage this film does to Naruto as a character. He's not a hero or protagonist anymore. I'd even argue that he's the real antagonist/Big Bad of the movie. You just can't get behind him anymore.
However, all that aside, it's a relatively decent movie with good action scenes, some genuinely awe moments, and a nice message that you shouldn't cheat to get ahead and to not let work overtake your family.
Overall: 7/10.

Well the criticisms for it as a movie seem reasonable so I won't judge you for it. BUT I'm never watching that F###### S***.

I'm still wondering why they chose such a horrible name for him.
Boruto and Salada, Burrito and Salad, such horrible names. They're not even Japanese.
Sasuke, Sakura, and Naruto...what happened to you and your story?

The west took over.
Which I've told you - time and time again - is dangerous! There will never be consensus, son, among those you have helped to ascend. They will all differ in their views of what it means to be free. The peace you so desperately seek does not exist.
These men are united now by a common cause. But when this battle is finished they will fall to fighting amongst themselves about how best to ensure control. In time it will lead to war. You will see.

Well Kishimoto said Bolt was the "Bolt" keeping nH together. It is quite obvious that kishi hates the ending by this point. He most likely knew the ending was a bad idea but he wanted out and SJ and SP own the rights to the story. So what can he do? And he probably hoped that nH was what the fans really wanted and that the clowns at sp actually had the ability to tell a love story.
