To be honest I do feel kind of bad for Chie. She has been Sakura's VA for many years now. Sakura is not a very liked character so maybe that some how gets to her because thats who she plays. Chie doesn't have many fans but a lot of haters.

I agree about the Sakura part but definitely not about Chie  .  Sakura should have gotten better  but its a fact that SS destroyed her character  her marrying him  is a destruction on her part  as it paints her as nothing but a shallow fangirl  an abused women regressing her to her P1 witn zero self respect .  Her character development was supposed to be outgrowing all of that  if we go by the story her ending up with Sasuke would still be destruction on her part whether she's happy or not   bc SS doesn't paint her in the light of the strong women she should have become in the end  .  She should have ended up dead at least that would have been better then this SS abused single mom baby machine housewife kitten  ending sign .

For me (and I intend me personally) this stings and hurts much much more than everything else.

Well, sakura flaw need to develop or else people will not see character development.

Sakura went back to what considered a flaw. Again, that article shouldn't exist if Sakura was actually developed. It's that bad. Anyway, Naruto suffered as well.

 

There's something I start to notice. No one wants to acknowledge Kage Bunshin scene in The Last. I wonder if people are all about moving forward and not looking back or they know but don't want to say anything at all.

the wrong part about Sakura and Salad (name apart) is that her husband is never at home, to support her, passing time with her and his daughter. What a joke of family. Only because Sasuke had to expiate his sins for the rest of his life.

I don't have any sympathy for Chie or Sakura. If they're really acting under the delusion that Sasuke can somehow be "tamed" and understood by them or that he's really a knight in shining armour coming to whisk their misguided and salacious persons away then they can suffer the consequences of their actions when Sasuke becomes angry enough to mutilate the character's limbs with Susanoo. 

I don't really think Sakura should be blamed. If she had been shown to be the same throughout the manga( like HInata) and only care for Sauke above others, then yes, she would get what she deserves. But, throughout the manga, she showed she could change, she showed she could be strong, supportive, smart, and compassionate to others. She had so much respect and sympathy for Naruto and recognized her own flaws when it came to her treatment of Naruto, her feelings for Sasuke, and her lack of commitment for her training.

 

She showed she wanted better and worked for it, but in the end, due to kitten reasons, like popularity and money, she was forced to revert back to her old self and be shoved to the side, because her boobs weren't big. She just received so much crap, due to the faults of an incompetent writer, not her own accord. She's a victim, but is blamed for things, she had no control over.

In Japan, Sakura seems pretty popular. So I figured, unless Western fans were stalking her and commenting about Sakura, while someone translate for her, Chie wouldn't have much of an idea about how much Sakura is hated. Kate Higgins probably would, but not Chie.

 

If she felt upset, because she was not as popular a VA, as Nana, well that would be because Nana is a singer and not just a VA.( I bet that's a reason why Hinata was even ranked as the 11th most popular character.)

It's actually pretty funny to see the final page of the end. When you think about it, you go back to page 1 of the series, it's like, "Yeah, this sounds like a good premise." Then when you're at the end, it's like "Wow, what a god awful mess that sure showed me." I mean you went from Kyuubi to Juubi, Captain Planet style of unification, and yeah, it just sound so bad.

It is almost as if she wasn't even together with Sasuke, from what we were shown her (kitten of a) husband could have been anyone. What we are shown is a shell of a woman, not even a fangirl but an empty husk with barely any expression... I just can't help but see a poor woman who life has betrayed. God, it sounds so depressing.

It's a damn shame when you consider the potential that Sakura had (not as significantly great as her teammates', but still commendable). Perhaps Karin will appear one day to sneak away the bastard and raise it as her own.

It's eerily reminiscent of the last arc in Naruto when all other characters were shafted for Naruto and Sasuke. No Gohan (Wasn't he originally supposed to inherit the mantle of hero from Goku?), no Piccolo (nonexistent on the fighting scene since the Cell Games, now he's mostly treated as a passive mentor or comic relief that can't even compete with the Base Saiyans according to a large number of fans), no Krillin or Tien, it's just Goku and Vegeta all of the time.

It was a spur-of-the-moment rant. I can copy-paste it here for the future generations general amusement.

I feel a thousand time worse for Sakura, she definitely got the shortest end of the stick, and not because she married the Sauce, but because she's being neglected and insulted by the behavior of that kitten-face that is Kishimoto. Sakura got nothing in the end, nothing. It's as if she didn't marry the boy she supposedly had loved for her whole life; Sasuke is never in the village, and, apparently, doesn't even live there so she probably almost never sees him.
She's stuck in a house, cleaning and being all dizzy-looking, with a daughter that looks like Karin and no medical career to be seen, she wanted to be useful, she wanted to be strong, she wanted to be with her team mates and with her friends and she got nothing. Sakura is not freely roaming about the countryside with no care in the world, she didn't have her dream fulfilled and become hokage, she didn't even get the spotlight for finally having managed to marry the man she liked thanks to her moe skills and her 'get everything you want' card graciously given by SP to Hinata, princess of all she surveys.
Sakura got nothing. As things stand she didn't even get Sasuke, he just boinked her and got a child in her belly before going back to whatever it was that he was doing. She's all alone with a child that looks nothing like her and apparently only inherited her 'shannaro'.
It's not only insulting, but depressing, sad and just plain ugly. I'm not gonna lie, she has always been my favorite character, and every time I think about how she ended up my heart breaks a little; it's as if nobody cares for her, not even her 'family', and certainly not Naruto, who's apparently too busy being all goggly eyed for that cow Hinata and being an all around neglectful father and workaholic hokage.
There's no place in Konoha for Sakura anymore and this makes me nauseous when I think about it, she probably would have been better off dead on the battlefield like Neji. She got the shortest end of the stick not because she married Sasuke, but because she has become a woman with no future and no support from the people who should have loved and cherished her. A dead end and a bleak future in front of her. She doesn't even see her husband! No opportunities, no love, nothing.
I understand why 'She' said what she said and, shipping or no shipping, had I been Sakura's VA I would have cried like a baby at seeing how Kishimoto dealt with and treated her. She could have married Sasuke, Naruto, Sai, Kakashi or even nobody at all and it could have worked out fine (my personal preferences notwithstanding) but what she got is terrible. Useful only as a womb and not important enough to give a second tough after that. That's why I hate Kishimoto.
After all she did, and with all the people who loved her both in RL and in the manga, she wasn't even important enough to be made happy. My heart breaks for Sakura, it truly does.

Very nice post. It's astonishing how so few of the characters appear as better, happier people in chapter 700. Kishi left a mess of depressed, useless, abusive characters.

I just feel, that Chie cares more for herself, than anything. She wanted more on Sakura, so that she could get some limelight. And if it's true that she only likes SS, cause of Sasuke's VA, then it only adds to the fact that, she only cares for Sakura, if she can get the chance to shine.
 
I don't hate Chie, but I don't see her as anything other than the person who voices Sakura. Junko has repeatedly shown, that she loves not only Naruto, but his story as well. She really connects with him and feels for him, which is why I respect her. However, when it comes to Chie, she just feels hollow, in the end.

Ahi, that scene always made me cry like a baby.   Saint Seiya has always been one of the biggest tear-jerkers ever.

I do look forward to it. Probably because of Frieza, whom I just remember why he was such a hell of a villain. I wasn't a fan for him to return and get jobbed out to Trunks, but yeah, I do look forward to this movie. It's something to be entertained and not think hard like The Last. Thanks for sharing.
