So obviously because I don't accept people's race, sex, and other things as a means to judge someone automatically means I am blind to it? That is by far the most laughable circular logic I have ever heard of.

So let's see...I have black friends, white friends, hispanic friends, gay friends, straight friends, male and female friends, muslism friends, and so on and so forth....So you want me to judge them based on those characteristics? Why? I just see them as friends I can go to, have fun with, and play games with. We have some good times and some bad times. No one is oppressed and our different views I find fascinating. We live life, have a few laughs, and even love along the way. I even went to my gay friend's wedding a few years ago I am completely happy for him.

But obviously you guys know more about me than I know about myself, right?

 

 

I'm happy that you have friends from minority populations. Good for you. I'm saying that the fact that you can accept people without taking into consideration those various factors is evidence of your privilege as a white male. People of color, women, trans people, etc., they do not have that luxury of living in this fantasy world of yours. They are confronted by institutionalized racism, sexism, homophobia, and discrimination every single day. I'm not telling you to judge people based on those characteristics. I'm telling you that pushing them under the rug and saying we should stop thinking about, talking about, or fighting racism, sexism, etc. is unrealistic and problematic.

White men created race 500 years ago. Before that, people in the society was sectioned by class, gender etc. Then we wrecked the world! I think we should fix the kitten that we made in the first place, but what is to be expected is that we admit our mistakes and realize we can never walk in shoes of not-white people. The ironic thing is that when white people want to know this experience, they try to pretend like they live it too instead of listening to people that do.

This is why I don't debate with people anymore about issues...not even with jokes because people have become so sensitive to the point that they spread more hate and accuse you of things that they have blinded themselves to.

You guys know nothing of me and to judge me as such means that you are no better than the people who you detest. Not because you can't see me, but rather because you don't want to see anything beyond your own clouded views.

Human beings are only smart creatures when they want to be....they only blind themselves.

Like I said, I am done with this...you guys can live in your own hateful little world all you want...I rather have fun with life with all my friends.

I also like how the 4 of you gang up on me like you are superior to me....and everyone else has said nothing. Did you guys notice? It's not that they cannot see it...it's because they don't want to be apart of it. Something you guys missed once again because you didn't stop to actually listen to others and notice the real world around you. Not everyone is blind to it. They just rather not reinforce it.

On another note, I really want to redo Naruto's looks and outfit for the older version of Naruto. I really hate his older look and it just doesn't suit him. Even his outfit needs a change. I am going to try my hand at it see if I can crate something interesting.

That's why Duchess Lys agreed to cook for me when I come visit Italy     I've tried so many "Pizzas" from many places but all kitten Never Real Italian though    the only Pizza so far I acknowledge is my mom's Pizza all homemade ingredients  no one can resist it so far XD .

 

I so want to try real Italian Pizza I can almost feel it in my mouth    And I hate Domino's Pizza  that's pure kitten and an insult to Pizza why dafuq everyone prizes it

I have my minor in African American studies specifically. I can tell you, as a person of color myself, that just because you don't see oppression doesn't mean it doesn't exist. After the Civil Rights Movement, the FBI and the CIA attacked black communities frequently, created "hoods" (not neighborhoods), all with the perception that Blacks were at fault for it's own failures, when in fact it was America itself. And no, this stuff isn't a conspiracy, it's just forgotten history (look it up.) 

 

A more current example would be America's terrorism in the Middle East. Our media and our choice of words skewer the perception of oppression. The West lives in a society where it's common to believe that all Muslims are bad and that America is doing justice overseas, even when it was proven that there were no "weapons of mass destruction". Hmmm...but nope, let's ignore that, and continue to hate the entire Muslim religion, right?    

 

Another thing you should take into account is internalized oppression. A lot of oppressed groups ignore the injustices happening towards them because it's easier to live in a society where you conform to what people make of you. This is more common that people think. This is why most of the time you won't find people vocally expressing their problems out loud.

 

All in all, "colorblindness" and things of that sort are just as dangerous as outright injustice, because it downgrades/ignores the issues of certain social groups. Please be "aware" instead of "blind".  

 

 

...Also, if a lot of people are preaching the same thing to you and giving you examples/reasoning behind it, don't you think you should at least consider that maybe your views are inaccurate?

Tried Them they are utter kitten  the Pastry is a failure ingredients to .  Yes I believe they are and its how should they really be a thin one but most I've tried they kitten up with the Pastry not to mention cheep ingredients    .

Also, RyohkiFan I understand your concern and you have a point, but I also think that it's somewhat of a very important discussion that needs to be had. I don't know about you guys, but for the last few years society has been changing drastically, and ideals that once seemed "fair" are finally beginning to change. If nobody wants to discuss it anymore I'm fine with that.
