Which I've told you - time and time again - is dangerous! There will never be consensus, son, among those you have helped to ascend. They will all differ in their views of what it means to be free. The peace you so desperately seek does not exist.
These men are united now by a common cause. But when this battle is finished they will fall to fighting amongst themselves about how best to ensure control. In time it will lead to war. You will see.

Okay, I read the episode synopsis to the latest episode and is it me or is SP once again entrapping themselves with the same conundrum: Is Boruto a spoilt, ungrateful brat or is Naruto a negligent douchebag? Because if the last couple of episodes were supposed to get people to sympathize with Boruto and make him seems likeable(*snorts*), then any headway towards that has been botched by SP maintaining the image that Naruto is Ninja Jesus and therefore can do no wrong, and Boruto should show him unconditional respect. What message are they trying to sell here?

I bet they don't even know anymore... they just want to throw something on the wall, see what sticks because they know they ****ed up big time in the long run, so they got no choice but to try to find a way to try to make it seem like they know what the hell they're doing, but they really don't.

Part of the problem is that they are still in the chunin exam. So no matter how much they try to spin it. Naruto is neglecting his family, and Bolt is a spoiled lazy brat because that who they are in the movie and the manga. So the negative aspect of the characters still shine through no matter how much SP try to soft, retcon, or change what happened.

I think the reason Sakura received this even when it’s clearly directed for Naruto and Hinata is for 1 of 2 possible reasons.
The first being that Sasuke has instructed his hawk to get the letter to any member of team 7 it tracks down first (or that isn’t busy at the time) trusting they will pass it along to Naruto. (Not sure how this occurs since Sasuke's hawks never hada problem getting to Naruto in the first place. Why all of a sudden now?)
Or the second reason which is more funny is, Kakashi probably sent Sasuke a letter that Naruto is getting married, Sasuke assumes from Kakashi words and his knowledge of Naruto that it is Sakura he is marrying that is why he congratulates Sakura in the letter he thinks the wedding is hers and Naruto. Probably later when he realizes his mistake and hears Naruto married Hinata his reaction is "who the kitten is Hinata?"

They want to have it both ways. They want Boruto to be a spoiled brat, but without giving a good reason why he is and trying to make it lok like it is all 100% Naruto's fault, but given that Naruto doesn't like to be home with his family...(proven since Shikamaru points this out several times)...shows that the NH family degrding and they don't want that either. So they straddle this line of "It is noone faults, but it is also totally Naruto's and Boruto's fault."

I just don't understand SP. They desperately wanted NH, but the sequel shows a unhappy dysfunctional marriage. Why wouldn't they depict a good marriage for NH?

I answer a similar question to this you asked a few days ago.
"I think I have explained this before, but it is because they let Kishimoto write the bases for the pairings after the ending of Naruto.
Do you honestly think; they would have let the pairings be this bad if they had a choice? Granted maybe SS, but nH?
Around the time of the ending Kishimoto was at best indifferent to the pairings. After the backlash he used the gaiden (ss), the hokage one shot (nH), and the Boruto movie (nH again) to set up, and show how awful nH/SS are as married couples. As Kishimoto was the mangaka this became canon; as such nH as well as SS became horrible dysfunctional marriages.
So, since then they have been constantly trying to softly retcon what kishimoto did to those relationships."
Beyond that; they want their anime to be canon, and for everyone to consider it canon in order for that to be the case they have to follow the manga and the stuff kishi worked on before the manga started. Since people consider what happens in the manga canon (as well as the stuff kishi worked on.) So, they are stuck with nH and SS as dysfunctional relationships because that is how kishimoto written them. They are constantly trying to rewrite what he did in order to soften those relationships especially nH. They have to show nH as somewhat negative because that's because nH is dysfunctional before the chunin exam. It is the filler that comes after where they in theory don't have to worry about nH being dysfunctional anymore, where they will be unbound, and allowed to produce filler with all the nH fantasies they have been thinking of. To them these episodes have probably been suffering they have to endure so they can glorify hinata afterwards. It not like with the manga's speed that don't have time to do that.
If you ask this question again I'm just going to say, "wait till after the chunin exam and see if the filler episodes still show nH as dysfunctional."

Well the SJW will disagree with you. They'll argue that being part of the LGBT in itself, is development.
And to that I would say, So you are promoting LGBT by positively discriminating against it? Like a good love story in fiction involves a couple bonding, showing great chemistry together and getting to know one another, but you say that with LGBT it is not necessary to do That? LGBT needs to slap itself in the audiences faces to show "how progressive" you are so you use *gasp* cliches' like fairy tale romances to showboat your "open mindedness"?
LIKE REALLY?
Here is the thing. To promote equality you don't treat anyone as special or like they need coddling for being different, you treat them with respect and consideration, but not necessarily different from anyone else in your life.

No kidding, Phantom, and we see how those supposed fairy tale romances can end up working... hell, Naruto is living proof of it because Studio Pierrot so wanted NaruHina to be canon, and look at how badly things are for it now.

Saw this on my facebook feed.
And All I can say to that is:
25 worst things? TO HER?.........................
So I am going to reiterate:
Naruto Uzumaki: His parents are killed, his godfather is killed, he best friend is awol, the girl he really loves doesn't want him, his gets his arm blown off, misses his won Hokage correnation because his brats can't behave, and he is forced to have kids with a girl he never cared about because he gets guilttripped into being with her...BUT HINATA IS THE POOR ONE?
Sasuke gets his whol e family and clan murdered, brainwashed by everyone, gets HIS arm blown off, and loses his boyfriend to a big boobed no brain bimbo, but POOR POOR HINATA.
Gaara's mother dies in child birth, his father abuses him and sees him as a weapon, people threatened to kill him ad he was shunned, but POOR POOR HINATA.
This is why I HATE the American Naruto fanbase. Oh and by the way, the comments in this are not much better. Like they all say "She had it so rough and she is the best anime character of all time." I wish I was kidding. The only comment that is even negative is "Well, the only bad thing for Hinata is she hit puberty too hard and now she has major back problems."
Seriously, what the hell is wrong with the American Narut fanbase. No where else is this "girl" this popular or anything else...and yet, she is praised literally as a goddess. And I thought the religion of Haruhi Suzamiya was bad. This is far worse.
This is why I hate her and this is why I am always so angry with this character. When I keep seeing garbage like this...It is truly official. NH really is nothing more than a pity-*quack.*

James, you should had delete the post off your news feed cause honestly I would immediately anything relate to the Unimportance or the Naruto franchise unless something had happened that will cause an fandom uproar of the mistakes happened and the truth has revealed.. And now her fans want to sympathize her because now she has "problems"?! But her fans are the damn reason the franchise are the way right now because they worshiped her like she's important to the point that she's the Virgin Mary.
It isn't worth it unless all of those fans finally realized their faults they had caused in the franchise and grow up.
What's Happening with the Naruto series as of now!

I have a random question? I always thought of this, and I would like y'all thoughts on this.
Do you think Naruto is truly oblivious to a woman's feelings for him or is his love for Sakura-Chan so strong that he just doesn't entertain the idea of a another woman period and even if he does notice the signs, his heart lies with Sakura-Chan so he just doesn't even give another woman the time of day if she does like him?
I wish I could have the powers of Superman so I could save protect the world under God's will.
Always have the spirit and the guts to never ever give up no matter what.

Before the ending and them having to retcon his entire personality. He was actually know for understanding peoples' feeling very well. He knew Sakura's feeling for Sasuke since the start but still wanted to win her heart.
If you talking about hinata think of this first; how many time in his life do you honestly think he interacted with her in any meaningful way? The answer is about no more then ten time by the end of the manga. She had a crush on him for a while during there time in the academy but their first major interaction was within the story during the chunin exams, then nothing for about three years, and then suddenly out of nowhere she sprinings a confession on him at the worst possible time. Put your self in his shoes would you realize a girl had a crush on you with that?
Naruto inital impression of her over the ...what? A decade they spent together at the academy where she never interacted with him was; a weird quite girl that doesn't talk to him. During the chunin exam he still considered her that but realized she was nice, and considered her a friend. Then three years later after barely interacting that entire time she tells him she always loved him; where that comes from?
This is the awkward truth the last tries to hide; Naruto barely knows Hinata because she barely interacts with him for 15 years according the movie. So they have to erase everything about Naruto. So, Hinata could become everything.

I do think that Naruto was obviously Sakura-sexual. One gets the impression that for him, experiencing things like selfless love, irrepressible sexual desire, and the contentment of being with someone who truly "gets" you is something that he would have to do with Sakura or not at all. This was obvious from how single minded he was. Even the NH moments that Kishi tried to ham fistedly introduce were completely androgynous on the part of Naruto.

When SP makes hinata filler : he make Naruto saw hinata dance naked under waterfall.
When SP makes sakura filler: sakura got amnesia and forget about everyone.
The amount of bias is extraordinary!

AU Sakura, but still. And recall everyone in the main universe was different personality wise from the AU so that did her no favors either, and Naruto was actually called Menma

Exactly, and we can't forget Naruto made someone who tried so hard to be cold-hearted like Zabuza cry as well as always tried to be the kind of ninja who believed in heart, something Kakashi kept trying to stifle but he couldn't because Naruto knew how hard it was to feel lonely, and his pain at being ostracized allowed him empathy to others' feelings, but of course Studio Pierrot had to retcon it to justify the ending and The Last.
But it also ruined what made Naruto so good; even when he couldn't forgive Nagato for killing Jiraiya and destroying the Leaf Village, he empathized with him when hearing about his past. He could understand the pain of both Sasuke and Gaara, even if it was much easier with Gaara due to them both being Jinchuriki, he was annoyed with Inari but understood how it must have felt, but chose to not give up, just like with Tsunade when he learned about her past from Shizune, or also what he said to Neji after their fight during the Chunin Exams of how the Clone Jutsu was his worst Jutsu and all that jazz. That's the kind of stuff I so miss from Naruto now.
It's the kind of stuff I want to keep in for him in my fanfic, where he understands people well because of his empathy due to his pain and loneliness over the years just for being a Jinchuriki, and that also will be what shapes his bonds with Kurama as well as the rest of his friends and even some of his foes. Of course, I'm gonna do some things differently, since this is an AU, but it still is something important to me that the ending of Naruto destroyed.
