I think you mean well, but there is so much here that I don't even know where to start. I'd love to live in the fantasy world of yours where race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, etc. etc. are irrelevant. It isn't the real world though.

The fact that you don't see color, sex, etc. is a sign that you have yet to confront your own privilege and how that affects the way in which you live your life. People of color do not have the same luxury you do.

So let's see...I have black friends, white friends, hispanic friends, gay friends, straight friends, male and female friends, muslism friends, and so on and so forth....So you want me to judge them based on those characteristics? Why? I just see them as friends I can go to, have fun with, and play games with. We have some good times and some bad times. No one is oppressed and our different views I find fascinating. We live life, have a few laughs, and even love along the way. I even went to my gay friend's wedding a few years ago I am completely happy for him.

1) If we forget and stop talking about races and genders it will stop being a problem. Can't we just be people?

2) These problems are not the past, are the present and forgeting about it, moving on, letting it go won't change anything. We are all people, but the world doesn't see it like that, we want them to see it. The more we talk about it, faster we will get to change things.
