Sakura ending up with Sasuke is beyond disgusting.

 

Kishi can't write romance.

 

and the one that he almost got right he screwed it over by not letting Sakura progress.

I was becoming numb after the hero sasuke got to meet the sage with the supporting character naruto. I left this fandom naruot due to sakura and the sasuke fan fair in part one. Well nothing changed.

What was the point to all the trolling NS in the second part?

Naruto's only job was to fix sasuke' life so he could have everything.

Naruto failed. He couldn't beat his rival and get the girl.

I think kishi sold out to SP. I bet he got a lot of money to keep the series going. Who is naruto's clan again?

NH is ok, but the whole SS is sick! Domestic violence. Is that ok in Japan? Wow.

I will read the next chapter and then I done. I have despise kishi for a long time with his love for sasuke. I held out for NS and naruto becoming the next sage.

 It's funny, when I think back to my embarrasing teenaged weaboo phase, I used to get so annoyed when people would say that ATLA was a better story than Naruto.  I can freely admit now that ATLA and it's ending is a masterpiece when compared to Naruto.

 

I regret nothing though as far as shipping is concerned, it was still a fun ride that allowed me to meet wonderful people I never would have known existed otherwise.

I'm alright with this ending guys. It sucked for a few hours but I came to a realization. Naruto deserves someone who actually loves him. Yes that should've been sakura and Kishi built it up to be her and it's bull that it falls to hinata. I always like sakura's character because she had real growth. She went from this annoying obsessed girl to a strong kunoichi will skill and heart. I'm sad that Kishi decided to negate all of that by having her still "love" sasuke, after all of that development. Not a good message. To the people demonizing naruto, we know that him ending up with Hinata is not what he wanted or expected in chapter 698. Idk if we'll see him confess or just see him realize that it's pointless, but the guy deserves to move on from a girl that just never looked his way, deserving as he was to be seen that way. Sakura is not innocent, (yes it's all Kishi but if we are looking at them as characters) she chose to remain attached to the lesser man. We know that she had romantic notions for naruto, it was teased and pointed out many times. It's obvious she chose to ignore those and still pursue the guy who wouldn't be there if not for the selflessness of the guy that stood by her the entire story. It's sad but I lost a lot of respect for sakura (Kishi to blame I know).

In a way though that makes this easier. Like any real relationship, any healthy relationship, the love cannot be eternally one-sided. It's not to chase a girl you like and try to win her heart, but if sakura didn't fall for him after all he's done, she was never going to. I think Naruto realized that. He was the one to stand up for her and love her selflessly and he should always be proud of that. I admire Naruto for that selflessness. I think he should tell her, even though we know she'll reject him, not to get anything out of it but just because he's earned that right.

I'm actually excited to see (bull as it is) where Kishi takes the character of Hinata in this movie. I think it would be alright to have Naruto a little heartbroken over sakura in this movie and see hinata step up to, as the DB4 suggested, be the one to heal his heart.

I will always like the character of sakura but as many have admitted she was kind of ruined by the SS thing. (Kishi to blame yes) but looking at her within the context of the story, her being so shallow and choosing sasuke still after all that makes it easier to let her go.

Now I will be excited to see Naruto, who've I've always supported more than just NS, be happy. Yes it's not how it should've ended. Yes Kishi ruined sakuras development. But we have to live with it. Story wise I can let NS go because I don't think (story wise, with her still choosing sasuke) sakura deserves Naruto eternally pining over her when it's clear she'd rather have the lesser man. Naruto deserves a girl (even if underdeveloped and pulled out of kishis ass) that will see him and acknowledge him for the selfless dude he is. Even if it's Hinata.

All on Naruto's side now, and excited to see him have that love that Kishi made sakura deny him.

I normally somewhat enjoy chaotic threads, but to be honest, this is just sad. It's sad that the story's been pushed to such a state. Sad that Kishimoto gave into what the fans demanded instead of what the story demanded. Sad that something so important to so many people has turned into garbage before their very eyes over such a length of time, only to end with something so insulting.

 

As for the site closing down, I highly doubt that will happen. At least, I really hope not. There's still a great community here; this is our darkest time, but it'll pass.
