i like it, don't get me wrong, but it feels like robin's arc all over again. we find out about her past, it catches up to her, which results in her leaving and the straw hats fighting their way to get her back. also, we just got sanji back and now he's leaving again. it better not be for long, because i'm honestly looking forward to seeing sanji's story than anything else in the series right now. i also like to add that i like where sanji's story is heading. it has potential for lots of character development.

I understand that notion but isn't that what made One Piece great? Sounds like a compliment. But seriously, I know what you mean. The thing about this one is the situation is different. No one is going to die, but it's a marriage, Sanji's connection could be grander than guys that did research, involving with huge name honcho, especially with the already established ones, and many more. This has a lot going and we guaranteed to have all SH crew to participate. It could be based OP.

Op is episodic story, but it need a truly great talent to make it not boring and feel repetitive.

I still stand that this gonna be dream vs desire, especially if puding is a lovely girl and ultra beautiful. While the vins mock could be the bad guy here.

I really liked this chapter a lot, because it's these kinds of chapters that remind me why Sanji is my favorite straw hat. I especially liked when Sanji said Luffy would be the pirate king, as Zoro has said the exact same words before.

 

 

Oda has so many directions that he could go with this setup. One Piece is at its best when Oda has us thinking on what's going to happen in the next chapter.

 

Also, I doubt Oda is going to make it exactly the same as Robin's arc but if it is then that's okay to me because I thought Water 7/Enies lobby were some of the best arcs in One Piece.

 

Onto more important matters, I will say that Oda has been spoiling me an awful lot lately.
