Of course I do. Don't use that condescending tone. I could do without it. I meant it's disgusting to say about Sakura. I don't like SS or SN and I certainly don't wish for her to be a surrogate for NaruSasu. And to think that it would be Sasuke's way of acknowledging her... These thoughts are disturbing. You've seen this idea on the internet but you made it sound like it's your idea. That's all.

I'm actually hoping to see NS start in the movie only because I want to see the early development of the relationship, more specifically the transition from their current relationship to a romantic one.

Wow this thread is big! Browsing though it was a bit complicated. Anyway, throwing in my two cents. As a reader this last two days have been the most startling, absurd and out of the blue ever. I'll still love NaruSaku no matter what happens, whether it'll be canon or not, but honestly this movie is starting to make my head hurt! Naruto is all about bonds, and the most important and strongest of his bonds are the ones with team 7. Making NH canon like so (with almost zero interaction in 698 chapters, with a movie and an out-of-the-blue flash back would be ridiculous!) and ending a series that has been going on for 15 years this way would be so massively underwhelming, that I can't even contemplate the fact that Naruto: the Last will go in the direction this trailer seems to hint at. So unless proven otherwise (which ain't gonna happen, ever) I'll still consider NaruSaku the only logical ending pairing. Let's have faith! Keep calm and believe in NaruSaku   .

Well, according to one of our users here, who is currently studying abroad in Japan:

"Great post.

Take it from someone who is living in japan(study abroad). From talking and snooping around alil. I can deduce. That This is turning out to be a massive troll. Though I'm not completely discredited the chances of nh. But from the way things are looking, this is gonna go down as the biggest troll of all time. I feel it, my friends feel it, and it just seems way to convienent from all angles. My host families children even see it comming and they say it's a simple plot device, and marketing gimmick to "raise the tension and drama" (quote kishi). We just need to be patient. And remember romance is alil different here than it is back home in the west. A few panels or even a quick 30 second scene can seal the deal. It will be the last possible thing that is confirmed, just like most stories. So don't lose faith, been years. Let's just be patient for a few more weeks. It will all come to light. Though I'm hoping. Is all put to rest in the epilogue here this week. "

So yeah, some japanese fans are skeptical towards the NaruHina hints.

i don't know how i gave you the impression i was being condescending, but sorry. and no it's not my idea, but if you take out the acknowledgement part from sasuke then it doesn't sound as bad as you're making it out to be. i used to ship narusasu years ago and i guess part of me got caught up in the arguments that i've recently read for it. i apologize if it came out the wrong way.

because she was scared and wanted them to stop fighting so she said she loved him and all she wanted was team 7 back together not romantically with sasuke. Perfectly understandable. If sakura was with sasuke she will notice how it hurts naturo. She won't do it. Bottom line.

Anyway, it was dumb of Sakura to assume her confession would work when it failed the first time. Also she should have considered that Naruto could take it at face value, and that she could hurt his feelings.

 

I would laugh if Kishi used that moment to held Naruto and Sakura's relationships for 2 years.

 

Another one of those stupid things Sakura sometimes do because she's too emotional.

No worries :) I still don't like the idea because it would cause Sakura a lot of pain to bear Naruto's child for the sake of SN but that's a whole different topic.

Sakura doesn't ship NaruHina. She's not going to help Hinata win over Naruto. And this

 

is not the face of someone being encouraged to pursue their love interest. Seriously, the theory Naruto and Sakura are already dating and Sakura is encouraging Hinata to give Naruto the scarf is more likely in my opinion.
