no dice Brandon. I just blended those two scenes in my head. There was an overwhelming amount of promotion for this movie, especially in the last couple of weeks before the movie came out. I can not even remember which promo show had the clip where Sakura watches Kushina go off on Naruto with a stunned expression on her face, not sure if it is the same scene where Kushina punches Naruto and he crashes into the wall. I think the other people here that started chatting about likely were doing the same thing.

There's but this is not majority we got a lot of reports and spoilers about the movie and there's still people going to watch the movie, they went to see mroe hte interation with naruto and his family and second the plot between naruto and sakura.

Yes that is true, but I'm saying that the movie isn't selling itself purely on narusaku fanservice, and it isn't just shipping fans that are drawn to see it.

and the most important of all why u would pay for a movie to see interactions about your pairing, and on a shounen manga, this is the most retarded stuff in this world.

Probably because the actual manga doesn't have the pairing interactions that the fans hope to see. If rumour is true, Kishimoto made Kakashi save Iruka in the Pein arc just for the yaoi fans who ship them.

It doesn't mean the shippers who read the manga don't like the plot.

eh i hope you know NaruSaku is very popular in Japan.

But the movie didn't advertise itself as a narusaku movie at all. The only scene we saw with the two together was the one at the mountain and the fence, and that didn't appear until really close to the release date.

inorite? this is about the only time we can legitimately see a full strength Kushina in action, and we barely get anything apparently -- though if she takes part in teh final battle too like the spoilers mention, perhaps there's hope to see her actually fighting yet

Yeah, and with UNS3 coming out next year, you would think Kishi would give some Kushina fights fanservice so that fans would look forward to playing Kushina in the game.

Here's the list of my review after watching "Road to Ninja" here in Japan. I enjoy it and it was truly epic.


1. Sorry to All SS fans, sasuke has "Short Screentime". There's No NH moment but it has a lot of NS moments in this movie. The Intro battle with akatsuki is also short. BTW, the akatsuki are ZETSUS.

2. It's that Sakura understands Naruto after her experience without parents. She thinks Sasuke would understand because he had parents and had unpleasant moments with them unlike Naruto who has not. BTW, sakura is trying to drag naruto for a date (to have a personal chat). But when AU Kiba asks if they are on a date. AU hinata gets pissed off at Sakura, her eye veins in full bulge signals trying to kill her. At the near end of the scene where sakura hugged her parents, naruto went and asked her out again but sakura replied that they already had a longest date...XD

3. The Public Bath Tub was SOOO Hilarious especially, Lee wears girl's underwears and tenten yelled, "Those are Mine!" XD..

4. I laughed so hard when i saw AU Sai's deformed paintings and AU Tonton became Ugly and evil black pig. XD Naruto thought that Neji is the only one who acts normal but when it comes to Public Bath Tub, he became 100% pervert. XD BTW, It so obvious that Neji really likes Hinata now.

4. Sakura started to realize that her parents died trying to save the Village from the Kyubi, and that her father was the 4th Hokage. When Naruto started to accept his AU parents, Sakura is beginning to feel lonely and alone in her house. She walks over to Naruto's house, and sees the family celebrating Kushina's birthday. Naruto looked really happy, with a big grin on his face, and laughing all the time.

5. Minato orders Kakashi to use his Sharingan to find traps, but Kakashi was too excited about the mission and had drained all his energy out by using the Sharingan the moment they left Konoha. XD He flops to the ground, followed by Gai who too is drained out for no reason. ....XDXD

6. What i really like in the fighting scene when naruto is about to get defeat by Toby/AU Naru, sakura came over to protect him using her Taijutsu. And when sakura was about to get defeated by Toby/AU Naru, naruto regained his strength to fight back and rescued sakura (talking about teamwork, guys!). There's another fighting scene when naruto is about to get defeated from AU Naruto, he was save by the AKATSUKI!It turns out the Akatsuki are good guys, and Tsunade had called them for help (that was SO FAST..XD)

7. The Fox Mask (Evil AU Naruto) came to konoha to steal the secret scroll. After the battle, the fox mask retreats, taking sakura as his hostage. Naruto is the only one who cares about saving Sakura. He asked help from his parents but they are too afraid to fight him. When naruto was shocked at his father's words, he decided to rescue sakura alone (This is where he wore his father's hokage robe).

9. The FUN PART here are: AU Naruto unleashes his Kyubi by absorbing his cute furry friends (Pokemon, anyone?! XD); When the Kyubis fight with each other with biju-dama, i started to realize that the cave doesn't collapse. Magic isn't it? XD;When naruto saw the open secret scroll, he started to regained his memories and defeated Toby/AUNaru with his rasengan....how? i dunno XD

10. In the end, toby made an excuse to Zetsu that it was a test for his "Moon Eye Plan"....whatever, toby! BTW, Instead of calling naruto in AU world, they called him "Menma". Menma (bamboo shots) is another top dish when naruto (fish cake) wasn't available. But naruto (our hero) dislikes it.

I think I'll get the novelization via Amazon Japan though, even though the novels rarely have more than an illustration at the beginning of the novel. (It used to be more common with these type novels that there would be a few line drawings scattered through the novels, but nowadays you don't tend to see it. (the tie-in novels for Fushigi Yuugi and Ayashi no Ceres had those type drawings, but the Naruto ones do not, just a colored or tinted illustration on coated paper, and one drawing at the start of the novel. Blood Prison has a gateway (fold out) color drawing that is part of the front and back cover, and a black and white reproduction of one of the cover images at the start of the novel. The Gutsy Ninja novel has a Sepia toned toned picture of Jiraiya with Minato and Kushina, the image you see when Naruto reads the novel of a younger Jiraiya (like the author images you used to see in Japanese manga volumes), and a map of the novel's countries, that's it.

She does not have a moveset probably she will be a support character but if she got a moveset would be similar to sakura.

Did anyone see this? The Naruto characters are promoting Road to Ninja(the characters in Rock Lee gaiden that is). In the background Naruto was trying to attack Sasuke. I wonder what could possibly make Naruto so mad that he would want to attack Sasuke
