I liked that last sentence there. Maybe Kakashi didn't fully stroke Sasuke's ego but you can't deny that he was Kakashi's favorite at least in the beginning. If it wasn't for the Sannin like Jirayia and Tsunade training Naruto and Sakura then Sasuke would leagues ahead of them, which would hinder the team.

 

Oh yes definitely. I don't disagree about the favourtism, I'm just saying that Kakashi had nothing to do with Sasuke's ego. It was always there regardless of Kakashi playing favourites

Unfortunately most Uchiha has the same type of pride which usually get them killed aka the Uchiha massacre. What's funny is that clan is supposed to be see anything but couldn't see their own destruction, which is ironic.

I mean as a teacher you know your team lack teamwork , still under develop in terms of communication and they are very weak , i mean seriously Kakashi haven't teach them water walking ?? , team 7 is extremely lacking the basic needed to enter chunning exam. Plus he knows how dangerous that exam is and there's a lot of rumor and warning already that Orochimaru is on the move and tension between konoha and sunagakure is high. I don't know what the F is he thinking , team 7 going into chunnin exam with only tree/wall walking as their weapon ? . The biggest irony and joke for me is just after Naruto vs Sasuke on that hospital roof , Kakashi said this to Jiraya "Are you the one who teach rasengan to Naruto ? even if it's for countermeasure for Akatsuki i think it's a bit too soon for him to learn it , if he mess up he could kill Sasuke" ..... i was like WTF !? You should say that to yourself in the mirror!! You teach Chidori to this underage unstable uchiha kid that clearly stated that his dream is revenge to kill itachi and you know that dark path of revenge yourself better than anyone ?!?!?!?

 

And voila .... it was revealed just after Sasuke killed Danzou and Kakashi said it himself when hes about to fight him:

"No matter what Orochimaru did to you he still your favorite student isn't third hokage , the agony when you have to face him in battle and killed by him"

 

Bottom line is the ammount of favoritism Sasuke get is insane , almost every main character have to kiss his feet it really makes me gonna threw up.

 

Yeah, I also felt Kakashi was just lying to himself if he couldn't bring himself to REALLY kill Sasuke, since he just tried talking partway through the fight. It shows that dumb favoritism Kakashi had, as did virtually everyone else.

Ugh. That chapter right there should have been the final straw for them. Sasuke should have been a villain after he tries to murder all 3 of them. It baffles my mind that he was forgiven and gets the girl. BAFFLES.

Oh I'm still shipping, regardless. I'm just gonna accept that it might not happen. You know what they say fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. It doesn't mean that I will stop shipping though, it just means I supsect the wool to be pulled over my eyes won't set my hopes up only to be disappointed.

 

That said, Naruto is an exception of where shipping and development don't mean anything for canon couples, nor how well they mesh together. So I wont't let that sour up my experience with shipping. Well not that by itself anyway. And yeah I agree with HSotD, It sounds like Rei only wanted to get back together with Takashi out of convenience that Hisashi died. the cementing factor is how she had the gall to say Takashi let Hisashi die so that he could take her back even though she is drunk. That alone disgusts me, and think that even if she is the designated love interest she has no right to be so "SELF ENTITLED" to Takashi then or get jealous abouth his and Reiko's relationship since she is SO CLEARLY NOT OVER Hisashi 

For me, I just stopped. Seeing how my love for a pairing and my respect for a writer get ignored because some other fandom with a fetish obsession can get to change the story however they want. Maybe I am not giv en enough respect to the writer in this case, but I feel like a person who has been betrayed. Hard to trust again because I don't know what to expect.Fruits Basket didn't so much piss me off that Yuki and Tohru didn't win, but the fact that the writer used this weird plot of "Yuki sees Tohru like a mother" really distrubes me. It just felt...wrong. Weird even. I would have been happier if it was just that Tohru just didn't return those feelings and Yuki was okay with it and moved on.

Rei really pisses me off as a female character. Not that they don't have good moments together, but the fact that Rei seems to be such a spoiled brat in the worst ways possible. Like you said, self-entitled. She broke up with him and left him. Dated his best friend because she was mad at him for not understanding something even though she never told or explained anything to him. Like Takashi is NOT a mind-reader. You have to talk. He even asked her "Why? What happened?" And she got pissed at him asking. She complained to Takashi that he is nothing like Hisashi for a good portion of the series and blames him for everything. She pushes Takashi away non-stop, but then gets jealous when other girls give him attention. She tries to use her "sexiness" to hypnotise him and use that old flame to manipulate him into doing things for her and so much more.

and yet, Saeko not only respects Takashi, but also was aware of who Takashi is as a person. She even said and was aware that Takashi might get shellshocked and was even willing to "let her womanhood" help him if needed. Rei never even thought about this until Saeko said something and was helping Takashi remind him of being human.

Of course, Takashi keeps going back to Rei though like a wounded puppy which pisses me off just as much. Yes, they are still high school students, but it's just heart-breaking. If anything, we should be using stories like these to teach younger kids that they should not be in destructive relationships like this. Maybe I am missing something, but that is always how I saw it and yet I know Takashi and Rei were going to end up together in the end despite her not deserving it. She had her chance with a guy and she lost him. Let Takashi go.

Because forgiveness...cycle of hatred...contrived ethical philosophies that must be pathologically forced upon the scenario, no matter how inapplicable they are to the current situation. Seriously, if Kishimoto put effort into depicting Sasuke as a person who actually second guessed his motives, expressed internal doubts or sentiments when confronted with his teammates, instead of a one-dimensional engine of vengeance who, for all of his excessive ego, is so psychologically malleable that he automatically changes his plans at the drop of a hat depending on who he's listening to (aside, of course, from his friends), he may have semi-succeeded in making him appear slightly sympathetic.

Yep everyone just takes it up the ass from naruto. If only they had those prisoner shock thing from thor ragnarok that would slove so many problems with sasuke. Heck you could use that on sasuke and skip the whole last fight with naruto and sasuke which amounted to nothing.

I didn't minded Rei being the heroine of the series. But I hate her character I hate that Hisashi who was her boyfriend died and just like that she was head over heels for Takashi. It looks like she was never in love with Hisashi in the first place. So basically he was her rebound. Who knows if the REAL reason Rei got together with him was to make Takashi jealous or some crazy kitten like that. That's why i can't stand her character. It is why I'd prefer Saeko over her and I'd prefer her with Takashi than with Rei. Saeko is loyal and trusting ally. Having a boyfriend means she will be loyal to him to the very end no matter if she's a bit sadistic, she's still better than Rei.

Yes he should have been the final villain. He was supposed to be Naruto's final lesson that not everybody can be saved from their hatred and the guy needed to be killed for the greater good. The guy had too many chances because of the writer being bias to his Uchiha fetish. That clan and Sasuke get too much credit and screen time because at the end of the day, the story revolved around an Uchiha no matter who it was.

I still think the best way to go about it was having him being a rogue nin who's part of Orochimaru's group and then Boruto being about Konoha trying to stop them. You have Naruto end up with Sakura. Sasuke end up with Karin. You could still have Boruto and Sarada (who know has the added bonus of being an Uzumaki. Have Sarada infiltrate the village on Sasuke's order and then she becomes conflicted because she bonds with Naruto. Boruto goes rogue and joins Sasuke and that devastates his parents. They beat Orochimaru and cohorts. Final fight is Sarada vs Boruto while Sasuke fights Naruto. Sasuke dies. Then timeskip again and Sarada has become the new Hokage.

This bold! I got this feeling that someone just can't or IMMUNE to death in Naruto when i saw that everyone got resurrected at the end of Pein invasion arc. The war in Naruto is so pretty , it's not enough to make the audience think twice before wage war , i mean war is bloody and is scary , when someone make war in the fiction story they should depict the true horror of war so it can make people afraid and that it will not happen in the real world , but in Naruto the war is a joke , one of the main Character needs to die either Kakashi or Sasuke , sadly they resurrected Kakashi because hes too popular and therefore hes immune to death , as for Sasuke hes the perfect candidate but well ...... he got like 10 layers of immunity.

Agreed Sasuke is power hungry beast , if he going to get redemption then one of the best option would be strip him out of power and make him a normal human. Hes always in the sky looking down on people , he said it so many times to Karin and Sakura that shes useless. Give him that karma , give him some taste of his own medicine and make him lick his own spit and make him useless.

Well, like I said. Plot convenience. Sasuke and Madara were prideful d**#s but not the clan as a whole. They only became rebellious when it was convenient for the plot. It never really revealed what happened to Madara's direct followers of his ideology did they? And Fugaku and Mikoto seem VERY ACCEPTING AND UNDERSTANDING for having their entire bloodline wiped out and their life goal squashed by their own child, since they are SUCH TRADITIONALISTS unless they sociopathic-ally "don't care". But no, Kishi had to enjoy jacking off to his creator's pets and make them seem like tragic angels that can do no wrong and that they are CURSED TO DO EVIL AND ANTI-SOCIAL ACTIONS OUT OF LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You kind of have to ask yourself "So which is it then?" don't you?

Frankly, it's quite sad since at least even Sasuke had SOME legitimacy to his anger even though he also didn't try to truly really move on past it

I feel bad for him, but not like as bad as you SHOULD feel for someone, considering he was manipulated by Madara and likely just "found" not just because of his Sharingan saving him, but as someone to easily manipulate.

The whole Uchiha thing is a mess. Kishimoto tried to create a clan with problems but make them redeemable...only to make them worse. It is just offensive to suggest that the choices one makes are due to their genetics. Yes, genes can PREDISPOSE you to be INCLINED to do certain things, but the way you are raised and your ability to make choices is what determines your destiny.

 

Hell, why was Sasuke even allowed to breed? If not Naruto, SOMEONE would have said "Uh-uh. No more Uchiha."

 

Then again, given how secretive the SS union is, it wouldn't surprise me that Sakura snuck out of Konoha and somehow got it inside before anyone had a chance to complain.
