Srsly wtf did i read?

Well Naruto and Sakura are both teenagers, so if Naruto invited Sakura over for dinner at his parents house and him and Sakura were alone in his room it wouldn't be completely unlikely that he would try to make a move on her. Don't worry, I'm just having fun speculating based on what ciardha posted.

i thought it was because....

naruto locked himself in his room cause he knew these parents were fake and didnt feel comfortable....

so kushina got mad and broke down his door and told him to eat dinner.

]i remeber only two parts one when he was at home and he didnt wanted to eat the dinner then he says that this is not real then she gets mad,
second is at the hokage's office when he call them impostors and say that they are not his parents then she gets mad and punchs him.
i dont think that sakura would dinner with naruto and his parents because she's enjoying being alone for the first time without parents and her fridge was full of anmitsu her favorite food.
she stats feeling lonely one or two days later.

Is it against the rules to do what you are able to do and piece together a speculation/idea/theory on what happened? Calm down and let people think. No one said that's absolutely what happened. No one has jumped to conclusions or assumptions.

Definitely. My ability to follow spoken Japanese is much more limited than my ability to translate written Japanese.

In the long clip we saw on the show Naruto and Sakura are in a room with a bunch of books stacked around on the floor. The door gets blown open and Kushina screams two sentences at Naruto, in the first sentence I heard kono-here, Sakura and I'm pretty sure ne- which is a question marker. I knew Kushina was mad at Naruto about something he was doing concerning Sakura, not anything she was mad at Sakura about. Once I saw the context of the scene I really wanted to see that clip again to see if there was a ni in it. Ni is a particle meaning in, on, at, to, from, by depending on the sentence context. If there is a ni, Kushina would be screaming at Naruto in part in that first sentence in very ungramatical English- What in here Sakura? In better English- What are you doing in here to Sakura?

All I thought I caught in the second was hyaku-hundred. Then Minato says something to try to calm Kushina down- the only words I thought caught in his sentence was kasan- mother (Japanese parents traditionally call each other mother and father in front of their children. akai- red and akuma- demon. That's when Kushina shouts at Naruto with angry question if he was going to have the dinner she had made. That's all we see in the long clip. We don't see if Sakura stays for dinner or not in the clip, and the person who answers the question about the doesn't say whether Sakura stays or not and doesn't translate what Kushina screams in the first two sentences nor what Minato says when he tries to calm down Kushina.

Found it! Will have to watch it again many times to try to decipher the sentences- sigh.

Rewatching it, she didn't say Sakura... it sounded like she said, "sakai". I didn't even heard the "ra" for Sakura's name.

No, I hear Sakura, some Japanese say "ra" pretty softly like Emi does, especially women. (I wonder if she's from the Kyoto area originally, that's the accent I have the hardest time understanding). That's not the difficulty I'm having with her first sentence- Emi has a very difficult accent for western ears I think! (at least for these western ears.) But I got this time Kono wa (the next word I'm having a heck of a time with I hear "mi" at the start but the rest is too muddled to my ears) Sakura wa (this has to be a comma rather than period with the wa there, so one sentence rather than the two I thought I heard the first time, just a long sentence) hyaku ne (again I can't get the next word I hear hai then the rest is muddled) ne- question marker. Hyaku- hundred.

Oh and it sounds like Minato says youma not akuma, I remember it was demon but couldn't remember if it was akuma or youma that he used, it sounds like youma, maybe. My problem with his isn't the accent it's the speed. What I can catch it's clear- kasan, akai, Menma. I'm not sure of the youma though. I think I hear from him in Japanese: Ya (this part is too fast so not sure if I'm missing things or where the word breaks are- metto te kan) Menma, kasan wa (a bit fast but I think- ni wa) akai (too fast again, but maybe- chishoo, next sound I can't make out at all, not sure if he's saying fa o or pa o) mento, ne yo (not sure if it's ma or na next)

Then Kushina says Gohan (meal) tabe (eat) wa ne? (got that one Ne with a very angry tone.

Nah im hearing Sakura too. Granted I dont speak japanese like Id like but she is definately saying Sakura. The scene would seem to be what Ciardhas describing. Kushina basicaly bursting in on Naruto and Sakura in his room and about to lay into him, Minato trys to calm her and succeeds in at least diverting her attention to dinner.

Ah, I see. I understand, but I still stand by my opinion that it's just as negative. Of course, this is a matter of differing opinions. The way I see it, being negative emotionally is just as bad as both (physically and emotionally).

I agree its pretty subjective; we should probably just agree to disagree on this one.

That said it begs an answer to this question: Why didn't they advertised Sakura being involved in the movie. Clearly from the spoiler, she does much more than background character or cheerleader. In fact, she's in the final battle. I wonder why, studio. Ironic, because you would assume they will push their relationship into ads, since they sure pushing them the most when it comes to pairing fanservice. Oh well.

*shrugs* Who knows -- maybe they just didn't want to give too much away, so they just plugged in the fan service parts sure to draw a crowd?

Me personally though can't wait to see Sakura partaking in the final battle! So happy Kishi gave her an active role!

That, and Kushina had next to none fight scenes. Dammit, Kishi why must you troll perhaps the most badass female in the series!!

Where exactly did you see the bolded? I watched the clip you attached to your original post, and didn't see it. The closest I saw to that is when Naruto and Sakura are standing in the Hokage's office -- which takes place right before the scene where Kushina blows the door open (meaning the order of scenes in the trailer, not the actual movie).

Sakura was there with Naruto (with Tsunade) in the Hokage office when we first see Minato and Kushina came in. The order of the trailer clip went from the Hokage's office, to the Uzumaki household. And I know damn well Sakura wouldn't be with Naruto at his house.

The possible scenario happen right after Naruto said "Taidaima!" as he walk in the house and is about to sit down when he suddenly didn't want to eat (possibly due to the overwhelming feelings that his parents are alive and well), disobey mom and ran upstairs. Kushina became pissed off and destroyed the door, raging by saying that quote, scaring poor Naruto.

Her next quote is possibly: "You're coming down to eat dinner, right? RIGHT?!!!"

My apologies! I blended those two scenes together in my head. Thanks! Whew, glad the dialogue finally was cleared up! (Saw too many promos in those days leading up to the movie I think

(no wonder I thought I heard Sakura wa, sakurau is close- especially in Emi's accent. Wish they had run the Japanese text during the movie dialogue like they did during the interview section. Emi in her natural voice is even harder for me to follow than when she does Kushina- she's very soft spoken on top of the accent. I had to rely more on the text than listen to her voice. Ah, she grew up in Nagano, Japan, guess I can add Nagano accent to Kyoto to ones I have a hard time following. Funny enough, the Osaka accent is the clearest for my ears. I don't if it's because most of my friends back in college that were exchange students were from a university in Osaka or it's just it's easiest for me to understand, period. )

But now I want to know what happened in the scene where a stunned Sakura witnesses Kushina blow her top at Naruto- isn't that the scene where Kushina punches Naruto too and he goes crashing into the wall? Again, too many promo shows in too few days...
