Yeah, the ending for Bleach was pretty bad. The fact Ichigo wasn't there for some a huge moment really pissed me off. We also don't know what happened to a lot of characters like Yoruichi and Urahara.
 
Yeah, Of the 3, I always thought that Oda has things planned out a lot better than the other 2.

I hear in the light novel with rukia marrying renji yoruichi was teaching in the soul society and urahara catered their wedding.

It never seemed like she did. She always showed more concern for Ichigo and her brother. Frankly, she was probably only paired with him because Ichigo married Orihime.

But they said that. In the series they said it for sure. Maybe they didn't say it in the movie, but when they are bashing fists together the Kais are going on about how if this happens one more time, the whole universe might be destroyed. So if they had continued, then it would have been. Therefore Goku can destroy the universe with the help of any fighter who is BoG Goku level of power or higher. It's informed, at least. Unless they were wrong, but why would they be?

I mean maybe, I don't remember. Not saying you are lying or anything. It just seems unlikely.

I mean, there's this episode called "The Universe Will Shatter? Clash! Destroyer vs. Super Saiyan God!" You could watch it if you aren't convinced. Haha. I feel like it didn't happen in the movie, though, so maybe that's why it's not familiar to you? You only watched the movie or only remember the movie?

 

And yeah, I guess the Rukia thing really isn't great. It's not SS levels, but it's kinda kittenish to just pass her to Renji with no development. Especially since she doesn't need to be with Renji for a sellout next gen series that they want to make.

You know, I kind of got into an argument with an NH fan over the thing in 450 (among other things), and by argument, I meant just listened to his claims and questioned if that's what I was supposed to see, why didn't Kishi do such and such?

His/her points basically boiled down to this:

1) Sakura's hug was a friendship hug

Me: I duuno. That looked quite intimate. I got hugged by a girl I had a crush on before; it wasn't ANYTHING like that.

2) Naruto didn't return the hug

Me: Yeah, it's called being RESPECTFUL

3) He was looking back at Hinata

Me: Wait. You mean those panels showing all the other K11, including Hinata, were from Naruto's point of view? If he was looking at HInata staring back at him, why wasn't that the highlight of the page? The hug got the biggest panel, that was clearly what Kishi wanted me to focus on. If he wanted me to see Naruto begin to think of Hinata, why didn't she get the biggest panel? The hug panel could have been shrunk, Naruto's own reaction moved down the page and proceeding that Hinata. That would have been a lot more clear.

 

It really amazes me how NH will never admit they are just seeing what they want to believe.

 

Why should Naruto return the hug? Considering that he knew about Sakuras feelings for a certain someone. And he didn't really care for Hinata at all. That was the point where Kishi could have changed the direction, Naruto being more considerate of Hinata's feelings, but no...

It would have been a friendly hug if Sakura wasn't the only one to hug him. I mean, don't you think it was weird that it was such a big thing that she hugged him? Knowing that he had a crush on her, and she didn't? Like - would she be really that heartless to hug him "like a sister", while knowing that he always liked her? I think Sakura was either genuine with her feelings or she was being heartless. With how things turned out for them, not being close friends anymore, not caring about each other anymore, I think she was just being selfish.

You think Naruto's self-abasement is to such a ridiculous extent that he won't return a hug? I can't stand stuff like that. He didn't return the hug because he was shocked. Sakura would not have minded it if he returned it no matter what her motivation was. If you hug a person then you have to expect that they will hug you back. If she loved Sasuke and did not love Naruto she wouldn't have hugged him like that, because Hinata was there.

I dunno, man. I didn't know what you meant. All I know is that if Naruto thinks so lowly of himself that he won't let himself return a hug, I doubt Sakura is gonna be able to fall in love with him. It would be like falling in love with an invertebrate.

Actually, I think she did. If I were to compare NaruSaku to RenRuki I'd say that while Naruto and Renji's feelings are quite obvious, Rukia and Naruto's feeling are more subtle.

For example, when Rukia and Renji first parted, it was relatively clear that Rukia wanted Renji to want her to stay with him rather than go with Byakuya. I think the look of hurt in her eyes said it all. There were deeper feelings than just "but we're friends, why won't you stay"?

After their reconciliation during the SS arc, they're kind of like a dynamic duo. They're rarely scene apart, especially in the FB and TYBW arc.

Also, I was looking up stuff on tumblr, and one person made a good point.

During Rukia's fight with As Nodt, in this page it shows Rukia's happy memories being tormented by fear. Ichigo shows up twice, Orihime, Byakuya, they all appear. Renji isn't shown even though he should be very important to her. If you notice, her experssion is very pained but in a sense she grits her teeth and tries to bear it. However, As Nodt reveals a fear that he says she's been tring to avoid, and she screams in terror. This fear he speaks of isn't shown, but the post said it mightve been Renji, and I agree. It's really subtle, but I think her love for Renji was there.

They were more like brother and sister if anything. The fact renji begged ichigo to save rukia knowing he was to weak (renji that is ) showed rukia means alot to him.

it didn't happen in the movie, it happened in super's version of bog, they retconed super saiyan god and beerus to be stronger than the movie versions, think everyone forgot about it though and still think the movies are canon to super, hence why they keep calling the ones who bring it up fanboys sigh.

Renji is like Naruto. A hot head brute unlike Ichigo which is too cool for shonen protagonist.

And Bleach lack romance. So a sudden pair is not bad unlike Naruto who the romance pretty much established even of it just a subplot.

Renji and Rukia remind me of ShikaTema. They are often seen around each other, no one really knows, but no one really doubts their relationship either. I also agree that there wasn't any romance in Bleach. Or at least not as much as in Naruto. Did Ichigo ever show any sign of romantical interest in either Rukia or Orihime? At least not what I saw. I think it was a bit unnecessary that they both ended up together but it's not like I was surprised.

 

RenRuki is still a better love story than NaruHina.

Yahiko x Connan : Yahiko died sacrifice himself for both Connan and Nagato.

It's kind of funny though, isn't it? He went way out of his way to establish all these parallels and then he did something that made them totally pointless and destroyed the themes of the story, for basically no reason because the other girl wasn't actually that popular. He sold out his characters and story with the result that it is LESS popular and makes LESS money. It's so absurd that it's hard to even believe that it's real. And now they think people will like it if they make a next gen pairing that is like it. No, people will like it if you retcon this horrible garbage. People will like it when you admit that you were full of s***. That's the only way anyone will like anything having to do with this joke of a series now.

That's not all , if you look closely they all failed because of 1 guy. Jiraya died killed by Nagato , Yahiko died because of Danzou , Minato and Kushina died because Obito , all their killer/obstacle is parallel to Sasuke. So the only one that always curse or doom their relationship is always a guy like Sasuke. Now Naruto and Sakura failed because of Sasuke and Hinata.

Yeah, but his actions could be construed as romantic as well considering he went to the ends of the Earth to save both of them. Which reminds me, Oda not a very good story teller.
