I love her but I can't defend her anymore. 693 should have been where she demanded respect from everyone including Sasuke and the entire Naruto fandom. I thought she was going to be the one person who would hold Sasuke accountable and the one girl to get over Sasuke. but 699 and 700 killed me. Especially when  he apologized and she said for what? And now she's a stay at home housewife. The person who was supposed to surpass Tsunade is an abused stay at home house wife whose kid may not even be her own???

 

And yet I still love her. I love pre-693 Sakura more than anything but I still love post 693 Sakura. It just disgusts me to see someone with so much potential forced into the dirt. And I can't defend her anymore, I'm too disgusted and I'm not going to lie she is one of the worst female characters in fiction history bc of what Kishi has done. 

Yeah like right now I'm going through that phase in a break-up where you realize that the person you were in love with was not really who you thought they'd be. 

 

Sakura wasn't the girl I thought she was, but she sure as h*ll fooled me. I could never fully hate her but...this girl in 699 and 700 doesn't exist to me. I feel like they're completely different people. I never thought Sakura was perfect. In fact I liked her because she was imperfect.

Kishimoto wanted to depict Sakura as an honest, stubborn girl. I personally don't think that it was a lie, considering what Sakura said during the confession. "You've always been there for me", "you make me feel safe", "Sasuke has been going farther and farther away from me, but you've always been close to me",etc. Is any of that really a lie?

I know... wtf. this takes place after the last right?           why would they build Naruto's hokage statue based on how he looks in part 2.... the hell. everyone has some sort of thing from the last but NOTHING at the same time. like Kibas design, Ino's skirt, Sai's hair and shirt is gone, Choji's look, Naruto's hair/outfit... this is so f**cked up.

I read 699 and 700 again with the belief that maybe i missed something and i am just being unreasonable.

I know, she wasn't perfect but she still had potential. She threw angry looks at Sasuke, yelled at him on Naruto's behalf, and even punched a Shinobi god. But than this new Sakura came out of nowhere. Tbh I don't think I'll ever stop loving her pre 693 character, but as for this post 693 clone. I want a divorce.
