NOOO T_T I pray to God that these two are still alive. I thought that Root A did them justice in their fighting scenes and character portrayal- especially Irimi. I'm pretty sure that would Irimi would have become one of my favorite female characters in TG if she and Enji had been giving more screentime.

I know! I hope they're still alive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I already really liked Irimi, she was definitely one of my favs. I loved her "woof woof" line, a fangirled when she said that.

Lol Oh, I thought that maybe you thought I was just playing some mind games, but the only mind game I'm playing is the game where I give you itsy bitsy pieces of the story, just enough to get your toes wet, and then don't post it again for a while :chuckle:

Imao, the anime severely toned down the brutality and goriness seen in the manga. As a result, you get to hear newcomers say something like this...:

It's 26. But I knew going in it would be different, good or not as good. It's not betraying anything, just a new start hence it's own series rather than WSJ under one name.

That's what I'm talking about: People always say TG was boring (which I don't think so) in the first 50 chapters or so, and then it gets so good for people once the Aogiri Arc starts.

Everyone expects :re to start with a bang completely forgetting all these unsolved mysteries: Why did Hinami join Aogiri Tree? What is the Clown's objective? What happened to Sasaki's past? What is the organization V's objective? What is Professor Kanou up to? What happened to Hide? When will Amon show up? What happened to Tsukiyama? When will Touka show up again and what has she been in these last years? What is up with Arata, Touka and Ayato's dad? I could come up with a ton of other questions, that make Tokyo Ghoul:re so promising.

I think we all just need to be patient. I understand that people think it is not focusing enough on the MC right now and think it is slow, but it's too early to call :re a disappoinment in my eyes :/

Oh well...

^_^ I'm not a TG fanatic, but I can wait. I have faith that Ishida will answer all the question the fans have. Doesn't mean though that the ending was a slap of TG was a bad slap in the fans' faces.
