Angels and Demons (2009): 0/10
A bigger piece of you know what than The Davinci Code and that takes some doing.

Terminator Salvation-7.5/10

Nothing real special about it, but its a decent action flick with good special effects. And a certain politician makes an appearance.

Though quite frankly I liked the inFamous preview they showed before the movie better than the film itself.

Terminator Salvation (2009): 3/10
Appropriate name....because I need someone to save me from the memories of this abomination. I'd rather watch a loop of Christian Bale cussing at the crew member for an Hour and 1/2 than ever watch this again.

Resident Evil: Degeneration 8/10

Not bad for a complete CG movie. The plot followed along with the resident evil games.

Angels and Demons - 10/10
AMAZING movie, literally had me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end, and the final plot twist at the end of the movie just blows your mind wow.png

Star Trek - 8/10
As a Trekkie I really enjoyed it, but I didn't think it was as 'zomgawesome' as so many critics and regular moviegoers seemed to think it was, even though Young Spock was hella cute XD
I actually enjoyed Star Trek: First Contact quite a bit more than I did this movie ^^

The Day The Earth Stood Still (2008 movie) - 8.75/10
Really good movie, and I loved seeing Keanu in it happy.gif

Journey to the Center of the Earth (2008) - 8.5/10
Really fun movie, and it was great to see Brendan Fraser acting again, as he's a fave actor of mine happy.gif

Star Trek: 2009

Score: 9/10

A very good movie with great action, and the one thing many other Trek movies forget: Humor. happy.gif

But it gets a point off for taking 40 minutes to get to the ship. sleep.gif

Star Trek: Pretty good movie, the special effects were well done and it had lots of humor + a nice backstory. Kind of hard to get the plot at first for people who haven't seen much of the TV show like me. I'd give it 8/10.

The Day The Earth Stood Still: 7/10

This was one crazy movie. Despite that Will Smith's youngest son was in it not to mention being annoying unlike his "Pursuit of Happyness" role, and the question of what happen to the survivors at the end (did they rebuild and clean up those metal eating locus-type bugs that died and looked like dust on the ground?), it was an ok movie.

I totally agree with you on the kid being annoying and a total brat XD

And here is what happens to all of the survivors at the end --Click here to view--
There, it is revealed that Jacob and Helen have been infected by the nanites. She pleads with Klaatu to save Jacob. Klaatu saves both of them by transferring the infection to his own body, then sacrifices himself to stop GORT by walking through the nanites to the sphere and touching it. His actions cause the sphere to emit a massive pulse which destroys GORT, saving humanity, but at the price of all of Earth's technology becoming useless and immobile. Klaatu disappears, and the giant sphere leaves Earth.

I get that, but when watching the ending, that means the Earth has to start over since technology and civilization were just turned into dust (those nanites almost wipe out the entire NYC in seconds flat)? Not to mention Klaatu took all of the Earth's species which means our source for food is GONE! DX

This is why the ending got me stomped and had me saying, "That's it? That's all?!!".

He did it like a ark kind of two animal of all species. So he did not take all the animals. I do agree that Jacob was annoying as hell.

UP (2009): 10/10
I'm not gonna say anything about this movie because I don't wanna spoil it for anyone that hasn't seen it. All I have to say is this is definitely up there in my favorite Pixar movies and I can't wait for Toy Story 3 next year (the teaser trailer for it was freaking hilarious).

Land Of The Lost (2009): 0/10
Even when Will Ferrell makes bad movies he is usually able to make them somewhat tolerable, this is not one of those bad movies. This is an awful adaptation of a god awful SatAM TV show from the 1970s that I remember seeing on TV as a kid (in reruns of course). No one is funny in this not even Ferrell, the visual effects while good don't save it and it's just one of those movies that you wonder why it was made.

Paul Blart - Mall Cop: 8/10

Kevin James made me laugh so much in this movie, I couldn't even breathe! 111189.gif Now mind you, I'm a New Jerseyian here and the setting of the mall:

Mall's real place --Click here to view--
West Orange Pavilion Mall doesn't exist and its not our biggest mall. West Orange has a little mall where we have a Macy's and AMC theater. The biggest mall is Garden State which is located in Paramus, which I went there only once (and the place where we have crazy incidents like cars being stolen and people fighting over parking spaces). I haven't seen the entire mall but looks like some of the mall was filmed in one in Boston.

Until the final EPIC battle sequences, this movie was only an 8. But I'm a sucker for fantasy, and amazing things coming to life like WATER to help fight the good fight =3

WALL-E - 10/10
Fun, amazing, heartwarming movie a_thumbs.gif

Hancock - 8/10

Gran Turino 8/10- This movie was well done. If some of you worried that this was something akin to a Dirty Harry, you would be wrong. It is a nice redemption movie and shows a few things about reality.
