Not really third wheel but a character that don't really fight, just there. Toriko has that character who is not muscle and all. Shaman King has that very short guy.

Yeah if kishi still make naruto related content after the manga end, why not he just take time to continue and close all lose end instead goes rush ending because a canon movie about pairing about to release?

No idea. It is one way to get the ticket to see that moment. Whether it would be a letdown or not, it's there. It's too late now. I'm not here to do puzzle with these materials.I suppose I have to wait for like 20 more plot holes answers in one shot form?

Naruto becoming hokage or reaching some kind of resolve about it is the greatest momento for the MC it was supposed to be in the original manga not in a crappy add in

Well, that's obviously just so Kishi can use it as an excuse to make Sasuke his teacher. I bet the only reason Hinata was given lightning, was so that it could somewhat make sense that Bolt has the same chakra nature as Sasuke.

Yeah I always found it odd that Hinata was given the same chakra natures as Sasuke. Now we know. I wouldn't be surprised if Bolt knew Fire style justsu as well
