So... No comments about the "possibility" of Sakura giving Naruto a CPR...? 

 

Well, not really liking NS first kiss to be CPR. I want both to be conscious when it happens. But I don't mind if it happens though. Naruto would probably jump back to life because of the fact that Sakura kissed him, not that it was a CPR. "I want more so there's no way I will die!"

As the manga progresses to its end, we see a lot of closures which linked back to what has been setup/foreshadowed earlier. So, it becomes a full circle.

I think the next few chapters will address Sakura's comment during the tenchi bridge scene (the one with Yamato comment on it). It's almost the same situation, back then Sakura was injured from Kyuubi, now her chakra is almost depleted. Back then we have Yamato witnessing her effort, now we have Gaara.

it boils down to the same goal: to safe Naruto. I won't be surprised if we got cut again, but, for the loop to become a full circle, that sentence from Yamato would probably get completed... Either literally by words from someone or depicted by action.

I'll just wait patiently with little expectation... Who knows we'll have more pleasant surprises...;)

But dear god, the potential for a NS moment is so high, its no wonder this thread has gone to 24 pages already within one day.

I'm so stoked about the idea of Sakura and Minato working together to save Naruto's life.   

 

The best part was the ending with that final shot of Sakura and Karin worrying over their respective love interests. That's the thing though. That shot seems to indicate what the final pairings are going to be. I'm of course totally in favour of NS, but I'm still sort of iffy about SK. It is what it is though. I guess SK is just not my type of pairing. I prefer the cuteness of NS to SK's more mature approach.

 

But yeah, great chapter. Even if the Sakura/Minato team thing doesn't happen, it still looks like this will be a big moment for Sakura. All the pieces are in place Kishi. Don't disappoint me now.

Kishi's way of expressing Hinata is indeed a side character? Hello develop....goodbye development. I'd have been fine if she hadn't said anything after her face met the ground, but for Kishi to have the nerve to have her pray to her deceased cousin to help instead of Sakura, that's just a low blow to any character.

 

I mean did her fans really deserve any of that?

yeah and fans actually support her what a joke and personally i think they deserved that

Guys remember focus on the chapter, not pairing debates,

 

but I admit I do find some of the hinata tripping a little humorous but still the whole aspect of that scene seems like it could have been done differently, a simple reaction would be enough but still kishi wrote it this way and made sakura go with gaara.

 

All I know is, after these events pass, something tells me Sakura would fall back to it seeing how concerned she was with naruto. One of the biggest things I have really loved about Sakura since she came back with the allaince, she has focused on naruto and mainly naruto. Sasuke was there but its really becoming a point in which she may not realize she has more feelings for him.

Indeed. Kishi really has a thing for ending for cliffhangers, especially right before manga breaks.

I don't see anything wrong with debating about pairings if the chapter itself has some pairing realted stuff in it. As long as the debate is kept on a sober level, I think we're gonna be just fine. I'm not talking about pitting the various pairings against each other, but more about trying to discuss how the relationships between the characters are going to develop.

 

I do feel bad about Hinata though. I can understand what Kishi is trying to say, but I find it a little excessive. Like she's the butt of a joke or something. 

 

I agree about Sakura. She's really gotten her act together. The events of the summit arc has really sobered her up and I'm really proud of her.

Nah, I am tired of "playing it safe" or "Don't get your hopes up."

From now on, I am going to celebrate and be optimistic. This pessimistic view of "always have to be careful" is tiring and rather just take my victories where I can.
