Yep. I say just don't let those people spoil all the fun you get reading the series. It's not like their delusions will change anything: Kishi is the guy making this manga and I guess that by now he's proven to be independent of fan's desires; although we know that his employers (the publishing house) asks/makes him add some details, but it's not something major: I don't think that they can make him change the plot, cause that kills the whole idea of being a writer/mangaka.

Right now we have the upper hand, and that's exactly the reason anti-NS community are raging. ut that's no reason for us to be depressed/frustrated. Just ignore those people/try to stay out of web sites where the haters like to post... don't let them ruin your excitement and just have fun enjoying the series.

Yeah, I'm ok. It's just I think people are pushing too far on the concept of Naruto. It's like people are really biased in today's world and not just for Naruto, but for many things. It's as if we have grown to be very selfish. Like what do we want, what do we want to believe, and what do we want to ignore.

I know we could easily ignore them but sometimes it just so sad that people always find a way to give a huge credit to one character while another character gets none but take away the credit. I came to this chapter and happy that everyone showcase new attack, before sending off, while Team 7 will continue to get stronger. It's not about who's really taking the spotlight about how they all want to participate to fight in perhaps their last hurdle as all of them together. Other than that, yeah, people really trying to make everything so complicated. I would like a normal review with nothing that screams, "Yeah, that character did more work than anyone."

Even if the others of rookie 11 are not main characters...Sasuke, don't even get me started.

 

I do agree with one thing though, why didn't they do this before?
Plot device? Kishi realized that disregarded them? Fanservice?

 

Because..the whole alliance is there, the Hokages are there, and Kishi leaves the spotlight to rookies.

I really wanted to see the Hokages fight, I remember all the predictions..

Well, I guess because the story is really about Naruto and his vision, and how he and his generation are taking the reins to make it happen.  Kishimoto pretty much has to show them all stepping up and pushing their limits.  At least I'm hoping he shows all of them.  I want to see Lee and Tenten not only get their time in the spotlight, but get a chance to help settle the score for Neji's sake.

 

But I know what you mean.  There are a lot of characters I'd like to see fighting, and like to see get chapter focus.  Sometimes I wonder if Kishimoto doesn't sit at his desk doing this --  -- and asking himself, "Why did I have to create so... many... characters???"

I agree with all of the reasons you provided explaining the jutsu explosion in this chapter! I feel like after Sasukes Hokage comment everyone is trying to catch up to Naruto and Sasuke.....perhaps Sakura as well. I kinda see them going all out to gain Naruto's acceptance in battle myself ^.^ I like that now everyone else seems to be seeking HIS acknowledgement. I'd also love to see all the previous Hokage welcome Naruto as their new successor especially given that proud papa is there.

WTH is Kishi doing with Hinata?

I want to see Hinata have this huge moment where she realizes that SHE is a strong ninja. Not because of Naruto or because of his hand or anything else. She is just so...mentally weak it's revolting. I want to see her become a badass and lead her clan and take up after her dad but here she is going

To be honest, I've never seen Hinata actually give much consideration to her clan, family, or anything else except Naruto. The only time it was mentioned was all the way back in part I, and that was by Kurenai.

People would have been equally vocal if Ino thought about Sasuke in this chapter. Did you see the hysteria last week about the dirt on Sakura's face?

I get the feeling that now, ever since 631, its really become a point to haters that they just try to find something, anything they can that either overshadows or undermines the Sakura-Kushina event. This is kinda why the whole ruckus with the events last week on when Sakura reacted to Sasuke and now with Hinata this week, its just anything with Sakura or NS drives the haters to become ravenous.

 

Nothing has overtaken or undermined 631, Sakura is developing well, this chapter was about team 10, 8, and Sai doing small stuff, only for team 7 to steal the show.

 

Next week, team 7 action (hopefully)

 

Just hoping for this, I want to see them use the nine tails power, chakra enhanced strength, and sussano to devastate the jubbi army.

Great chapter. Not as great as 631 and 632 but then again those are some really big shoes to fill.      

 

It was really nice that all of the rookie 9 got a chance to shine. I liked how Hinata was able to take her skills to the next level. I also liked Shino's new bug infestation technique and how Ino was totally grossed out by it.   Then there's Kiba and his everlasting desire to surpass Naruto. He is a lot like Naruto, only cruder. 

 

Once again Team 10 proves that they are the masters of coordination and teamwork and then of course you have Choji being turned into a giant yoyo. Can't really go wrong with that. Also, I like how Shikamaru is also getting all competitive, but he just doesn't wanna show it. 

 

Of course the star of the show for me was Team 7. I am so happy that Sakura can also use summoning. I can't wait to see what else Kishi is planning for her. I hope she will play a big part in the rest of the battle against the Juubi.

 

I only thing I didn't really like was Sai getting one shotted like that. I guess it was necessary to advance the plot, but still. Poor Sai.

Can I ask, why is disliking Hinata so bad? Biasedness aside and weird reasons, I think if someone hates Hinata for a good reason then you shouldn't really tell them they should not dislike her. Can I not like Hinata without someone saying to me "You shouldn't feel that way?" I get that some reasons are a bit unnerving as Sakura could be held accountable for the same crimes and not all reasons hold up, but if I do have a good reason and I explain why...why is this a bad thing? If I don't like Hinata, I don't like her.

I just think Hinata is predictable and she never changes. When you get to a point where you are like "Oh here comes Hinata. Tell us more how you love Naruto" I think it tends to get boring. With other characters, I can kind of guess, but at times throws curve balls. Like Sakura has thrown some huge curve balls in these last three chapters and really gave the notion that she is a character with a lot more depth. We loved this and it made us love her even more.

I guess some don't want us to seem like other fandoms and hate just to hate, but some do have good reasons or at least understandable reasons. I accept that people hate Sakura and say to me "I don't know. I know Kishi is trying and I can see that, but I still hate her." That's fine.

I know we can debate, but just be weary on who you debate with. Some actually have good reasons to hate her character.

Well technically 2 parallels are now in the hole, sakura-Kushina only 2 weeks ago, this week it's the Sannin parallel confirmed. Yet another obvious one confirmed for team 7. Now wondering if Obito-rin will rise.

But hey even if sakura starts healing everyone at once, people would still hate her, I am seriously confused by the haters logic of sakura being worthless when she takes out tons of clones while praising hinata as she takes out one, with a technique she should have known by now. Wasn't neji able to do 128 strikes near the end of part 1? Oh god fandom logic makes ones brain hurt. There was nothing pairing oriented at all this chapter and some still think it was a nh moment? God it's like reading naruto is become part of a weekly headache we come to enjoy.

 

Neji did over a hundred when he fought Kidomaru of the sound four.

Among the biggest of the double standards, this is going back to the "Sakura is a demon, Hinata is a goddess" mentality. Just be glad we don't give a crap about them hating Sakura, its not worth it to try and convince them, thats their business. If they honestly feel that the intro naruto hating Sakura still exists, that is their business. Too bad some feel that either hating Hinata or liking Sakura makes you not a fan of the series or makes you some type of heretic. I find Hinata decent but just too limited, again, how can we associate as well with a character that gets limited involvement and hardly any critical story moments? I believe others like Shikamaru, Tsunade, and Gaara got some important story moments yet others act like Hinata should be on the pedestal. Its this reason alone that makes Hinata harder to work with. I mean look at Shikamaru, major role in the Chunin exams, Sasuke retrieval, Immortals, invasion of pain (helping Naruto cope with losing Jiraya) and 4th war. He has a decent role so far in the ten tails revival arc, but he had a simple lazy start, but became much better in each arc showing growth and now look, he is what some fans consider the defacto commander of the alliance before the hokages came in. Shikamaru got enough screen time, we know him well enough as a major character because of this, not so much for Hinata though, her still only present arc with a lasting role is the chunin exams. This current one, she has the chance of stepping up into a lasting role, but again the focus is on team 7 so her involvement may not last long. Once the ten tails reaches critical final form stages, seeing how she just had some space to finish a technique Neji finished well before even the chunin exams began, what would her role be now honestly? I feel that this recent chapter though entertaining in some cases, was mostly filler. Only Sai's moment of recon gave team 7 a notion of how to beat the ten tails, getting over (Naruto) slipping past (Sasuke) and protecting and healing everyone (Sakura) they had the requirements to get close to the main body to pummel the ten tails.
