Have you asked him?

No, not yet.
He's in the process of looking for a job right now, so I don't want to ask him to spend money he doesn't have on me.
I'll ask him for a date if his interview goes well today.

What's the job he is trying to get?
He has a second interview at a local deli just down the road from our house.
He just needs something to help get him through his last year of college.
After that, he can start on his career in I.T. Service Management.

Hey, Slex it's been quiet without you around, hope the break with the family was a good one.
Seems most of us are having job problems, I just had to turn down a job I applied for when I discovered the pay was commission-only, in contrast to the job ad which suggested a basic salaray plus commission (or OTE) which I found VERY misleading. Also, the fact that I'd have to pay my own travel expenses was a turn off, as well. You go months not getting a response off anyone, and when you finally do, you find out it's not what you were expecting. Frustrating much??
Anyway, good luck to Cap'n on his interview, let us know how he got on.

It's not exclusively our place as a couple. I live with him at his parents' house, but they consider me family and vice versa.
We'll likely move into our own apartment once he graduates college.
Our two year anniversary is in September.

Quinny!!
I've been missing you and Oust! Life on the internet is just not the same without you guys.
The break was really nice. It had been such a long time since I last saw my family and friends, so it was wonderful catching up with everyone. Andy had a fun time too, though I think staying for an entire month was a bit too much for him. If I visit again this year, it'll probably be just me going.
Sorry to hear about the job. One thing that gets under my skin is false advertizing. They should have told you upfront that the job doesn't come with a base salary. (How do they even have employees? It doesn't sound like a stable income. ) On the bright side, you found out about it before taking the job. It would have sucked so much more if you found out after wasting your time working for them and getting a dink of a pay check. Just keep looking. It can't hurt to keep applying at different places!
I think his interview went well. Unfortunately, the general manager that was supposed to do the interview got caught up talking with the store owner. I felt so bad for Andy because he got there 15 minutes early for an interview that started 40 minutes late. One of the crew leaders had to do the interview too, so he didn't even get to talk with the general manager. He's supposed to get a call in a few days, but he seems really worried about it. I think it's fine though. There are plenty of other places around the town. It can't hurt to continue applying at other places while he waits to get a call back from the deli.

I don't think he should be worried - he did everything he needed to do, got there early, looked presentable, was mentally prepared, etc. I'd find it horribly unlucky he were to miss out on a job because the general manager didn't get to meet him.
Good to know the break went well. You're braver than I am, I studied at a campus that was roughly a mile from where I lived (wasn't ready to fly the nest ). Couldn't imagine what it'd be like living miles away from my family to study (we're very tight-knit). Good on ya, kid.
So, what do you make of the recent chapters? The latest development may bold well for Sakura in the future.

It was the general manager that seemed really eager to get him in for that second interview, so that's why he's bummed about it. Plus, he's under the impression that the lady that interviewed him doesn't like him. I think he's just a bit paranoid. He's going to go back there today and see if he can talk with the general manager about it.
The only reason I'm able to do it is because I'm not entirely on my own. I'm living with a very kind group of people that treat me like I'm part of the family, and I've got Andy here for support too. Still, I do get very homesick at times. I didn't realize how much I missed my parents until it was time to go back... I turned into a big baby.
Eh, the chapters have been alright. There hasn't been much going on that's really caught my attention. I hated how Obito was able to master the Juubi's chakra in one chapter, but other than that, I haven't had very strong feelings about it. I was hoping that Sakura would have a bigger role in the fight, but Kishi thinks the only thing she's good for is healing. There's speculation about her having Slug Sage Mode, but honestly, I'm feeling very iffy about that. It took her three years just to finish the seal. I don't see how she could have also trained and mastered a senjutsu on the side, especially since she was working with only 1/3 of her chakra reserves. We'll find out soon enough, I guess, but I honestly don't see her participating in the fight until the rest of the Alliance does.

Still, if he goes back to see the GM I suppose that shows he's eager. Can't say I like the sound of this interviewer, though...
I tell ya, put a woman in a position of power and...
Sorry, I kid I kid.
I think it should be fine. It's only part-time right? Places like that usually have a high turnover of staff, especially students.
You're right, it is about who's around you, and if you know you're around people who are looking out for one another, it really helps.
On Obito: The Power of Loooove
A force from abooove
...
Sorry, couldn't help that. But yeah, seems love (even Obito's rather creepy feelings for Rin) can help one overcome such obstacles as a god-like demon tearing one's conciousness apart.
You're right I do think that Sakura will one day unviel a Sage Mode, but not yet. She will get it, I'm certain, but it would be AFTER this battle, because honestly I think Kishi would just be digging himself a hole if Sakura showed she had it now, and he tried to explain when in the timeline she had the time to learn it. I was just thinking that this latest revolution bringing SM back into focus would mean Sakura gaining the form would bring her back into spotlight again, and might even be a key in the final battle perhaps. Good opportunity to balance the power of the Neo Sanin as well.
For now, I'd settle for a Sakura-Rin parralel, you know, just to hammer the parralel arguement home.

Kishi well probably have sakura talk to hinata for suspense which i don't like at all why does everything has to be suspense nowadays. what happen to the days when characters use to interact in a normal basis.
Also the Manga just isn't interesting in the recent chapters it just feel slow pace and sort of repetitive thats why im going on a hiatus.
As for debates its gotten worse day by day ns tag getting attack on tumblr constant fighting and pretty much another reason to go on hiatus.

I hate to say this, but it doesn't end with college. Some people are just clique-ish by nature. Sad but true.

I noticed that a lot when I worked retail. I just didn't expect it to be that way in college too. It's so difficult to make a friend when the other party has already decided on who they want to hang out with.
