Something I really want to know is how Naruto is going to take this, during the Kage Summit and his fight with Sasuke (at least I think it was there) Naruto mentioned how can he be considered for Hokage if he can't even save his friend, meaning Sasuke. It's obvious that he holds his friends in high regard considering how willing he is to shoulder everything alone so they don't have to, his words to Obito and Madara that he won't let them hurt his friends continue to reinforce this.

Now not only has he failed to save a friend, that friend is now dead. Considering his dream to be Hokage is connected to his ability to protect his friends what will this mean for his confidence or his will or even his dream to be Hokage. If Tsunade dies and he is chosen to be Hokage will he feel he is worthy.

I'm curious to see how he will respond to Obito's taunting his inability to save his friend. Because i truly believe that is what Naruto is going to feel these coming chapters and for someone who has been giving a lot of pep talks lately I expect Naruto will need one himself, probably from the K11 hopefully from Sakura.

Yeah, Obito's taunting is the biggest highlight in this chapter for me. Now, we'll have to see whether he'll (Naruto) take a knee-jerk reaction or realize even he can't do everything. Hopefully, this will make him realize the meaning of Itachi's words.

That said, if push comes to shove, Obito may just target Sakura next.

Yeah, Obito's taunting is the biggest highlight in this chapter for me. Now, we'll have to see whether he'll (Naruto) take a knee-jerk reaction or realize even he can't do everything. Hopefully, this will make him realize the meaning of Itachi's words.

I'm 100% sure Obito won't target Sakura next. Remember, Obito is trying to put Naruto into despair little by little. He will start with the less important people to Naruto, and gradually go to the most important person.

The first hit was Shikaku and Inoichi. Two people who Naruto knows fairly well, not that close, but two people that trusts Naruto.
The second hit was with Neji. Neji who Naruto had clashed with, and gradually became friends. Again, not that close but good relationship with trust.
Tsunade(maybe other kages) will probably be second last. Because she's the kage(the supporting pillar), and her death will give despair to the Konoha ninjas.
Kakashi might die or might not die. It's 50/50 at this point. He might die as third last or fourth last(Tsunade and Iruka, will be second and third), because the author decided to kill everybody Naruto has close relationships OR he might not die because Obito wants KAKASHI to suffer as well till the end.

Sakura will probably be last. But then again, Obito might not kill her and stop at the last second being reminded of Rin. Just read that Obito flashback chapter. The way Rin smiled was exactly like Sakura that I had to make sure it wasn't her. I think Kishi made her look a lot like Sakura for a purpose.

So with that said, who's next? And is there a possibility that Sasuke might somehow interfere in the battle? (Say, save Sakura from Obito's attack?)

Why he would save sakura if he tried to kill her, he proved that he does not care about anyone.
The fact that obito may try to kill sakura it depends on how the next chapter will present.

It's purpose is to create a world-wide genjutsu of him killing Sakura. He'll retreat for one reason or another (probably to let the grief and despair sink in to Naruto) and take Sakura with him, essentially "erasing" her existence. By doing that, he'll have him exactly where he wants him to be.

Now, the question is whether Naruto will give in.

Obito will have the same exact reason as Enishi why he can't bring himself to kill her. It's because she reminds him too much of Rin.

If his attempt is foiled, I can see Kakashi getting the much needed kick to his backside to get serious with Obito. Him attacking Sakura would make it personal for Kakashi. Not because they're his students, or the attempt in itself. But rather because Obito is dragging them into their own personal mess and they don't deserve to be.

Why he would retreat i'm sorry but those prediction are 0% chance of happening, the most obvious that can happen is naruto going again on that complete kyuubi mode and take sakura/kakashi/gai with him again bee will enter on that mode as well and start the final confront after juubi gets defeated along with madara, then will have only obito vs naruto/sakura/kakashi/gai all exausted, obito for some reason attacks sakura she dies or nothing happens from here there are two differnet ways ( Obito for some reason succumb to a talk about friendship, love and will of fire, then sacrifice himself and ressurrect everyone) or ( he kills sakura, and then naruto start crying and grab her on the same way obito did in that lake, then obito gives a choice to naruto, either joins his side and get struck on a genjutsu world with sakura, or continue without her, naruto chooses the second and after a fight 1v1 he sacrifice himself and ressurrect everyone including sakura).

He meant to be a romantic, or something that suggest NH, NH is this.
There was no Nh in this chapter only hinata fanservice but the spotlight of this chapter was Neji, and people on this foru saying that this chapter was NH.

Except that I disagree with the Hinata fanservice. Sure her fans loved it, but she needed an appereance in this chapter. I just want her to grow up, then Kishi can do whatever he wants with her.

I know some people probably don't expect this... but, I do for some reason, from what I've seen in Naruto, (fillers, canon, etc) Naruto has no problem yelling at girls to prove his point. He could completely demolish NH in a few words if he blows up on Hinata from always being with him and not taking care of herself or Neji, for example -- and neji died protecting her, and she's still worried about him, per say. I could see him doing that to shake something up in her to make her courageous and independent without always relying on him or protecting him.

Even though he doesn't like her romantically, Naruto has always been relatively nice with Hinata. I don't see him yelling at her for that reason. In the chapter the Hyuugas were meant to protect Naruto, and that's what she was doing. Both were surprised when Neji intervened, and it certainly isn't Hinata's fault that he got into the line of fire.

And if you didn't notice, Hinata was crying pretty hard over Neji's death, and her attention was focused on him. She's not without worry for her cousin.

Neji went from being a total ass who condescended to everyone and simply rebelled to someone who learned to shut up, stop complaining, and try to make the best of things. Also to a loyal friend. He completely turned himself around, just like Sakura and Gaara. Yet I don't see anyone here saying that those two characters are underdeveloped.

The longer Kishimoto keeps Sasuke out of the story, the better. It would be really out of place to suddenly go from the big battle against the Jyuubi to Sasuke. He doesn't really have anything to do with what's happening right now and I would rather not spend the next two months learning about what he's doing with Orochimaru. He's such a boring character to follow. I'm reminded of the Danzou vs Sasuke arc that lasted Lord knows how long. I thought I was going to pull my hair out by the time the story moved past him.

I find the idea of Sasuke saving Sakura laughable. The last time he saw her, he tried to kill her twice in a row. He's proven on multiple accounts that he doesn't give a damn about Sakura's life, nor anyone else in Konoha. The only person I could possibly see Sasuke saving is Naruto, and that would only be because he wants to kill Naruto himself. Even the chances of that happening are extremely slim. I'm not counting on any heroic appearances from Mr. Unstable.

the only thing neji did on shippuuden was dying nonetheless.
