Great game so far. Pretty large main story if you ask me. Only in Chapter 3 (There is a prologue, 10 chapters, and then a fragment) and been playing for about 4 hours now. The Sakura confession was done unbiased, and they did put the Naruto saving Sakura bridal part in (It was SUPER fast though), but it was after Sakura fought Sasuke (weird they put that in the game, I mean, Sakura matching Sasuke's strength, that's too weird for the story). I like how Naruto told Kiba that what Sakura did was alright, and that he shouldn't hold any grudge against her for lying to them all and trying to fight Sasuke alone. Also, Sakura worried more for Naruto than Sasuke, and she even was smile at him with "that look" when she was thanking him (in her head) for everything he did for her (trying to get team 7 back together). Always a good sign.

Negatives:

Sasuke vs Danzo fight was stupid. Too quick and easy. HE DIDN'T EVEN UNWRAP HIS ARM! The Sasuke-Karin chidori stab was done just fine, so no worries there.

Aww, that's adorable. Dammit, this war better knock your head, Sakura. Learn it already. Shame that the Danzou's fight is just a fight. That was the boss battle of the arc, so no idea why not go deep. Ah well, my game is coming probably Thursday.

P.S. I got the free DLC codes. Sucks that you paid for a month but oh well.

A FREAKING PLUS on the first Naruto vs Sasuke battle! And this is coming from a girl who HATES the Naruto/Sasuke relationship more than anything. I loved it to death! The flashes were really well done and I LOVED LOVED LOVED the button input part because of the fast pace fighting moves. Freaking stellar I'm actually excited for the Naruto vs Sasuke battle in the manga if it's anything like how the games do it!

Also I liked Sakura's confession. She sounded genuine! I think Kate Higgins did an excellent job voicing that part!

Lastly, I loved the end of prologue. I mean Minato is just so cool!

Sorry I just had to get that out. Back to finishing chapter 2.

Thoughts of Naruto beating Tobi: STUPID!!!! He beat him with nothing but a fist to the mask? So dumb....

Thoughts of Kages beating Madara: FREAKING AMAZING! Tsunade's finisher on Madara was epic as epic can get.

You take that the first scene too serious while it's been clear how it was made. Yeah, that wasn't a good option to do that ending. Tobi running away is just...odd.

Personally I don't really have a problem with the ending simply because I don't think it will impact future Naruto games, it may be abrupt and sporadic but it does close the story being told, it gives it a proper ending and finishes the story told in the Storm series between 3 games, I get the feeling this was done simply because we are in the middle of a console generation switch and they didn't want to end the series on a cliffhanger. The games are more an adaptation than a translation anyway and tend to do their own thing.

Really this isn't the first time this is happened within the Storm series where moments are created or moments are left out that become important later on, Pain may have destroyed Konoha in 2 but it had been instantly rebuilt for the post game stuff but when we get into 3 its back to being repaired, Tsunade wasn't even put in a coma but now she is and Danzo hadn't even been introduced in 2 outside of a brief and incredibly vague passing mention by Yamato, the entire hunt for Itachi wasn't in the game either so Naruto never met Tobi and Minato never mentioned his existence. Even going back to 1 Zabuza and Haku weren't even in that game at all and as far as the story is concerned didn't even exist but here they are in 3. If there is a Storm 4 anytime soon it will probably just ignore 3's ending like it never existed.

On the topic of the game itself Sasuke vs Danzo not being a boss shocked me especially considering it was a boss in Ultimate Ninja Impact.

Guess what everybody! "Secret Lovers" and "Aiming for Sasuke" are still in the game! Even young Naruto and Hinata have "Secret Lovers". Like, he didn't even know her back then. Guess they really like to copy and paste.

Good game though. Story has a lot of content. Beat the game and I can tell I still got a long way to go to get the fragments and timelines.

Getting S-rank in every battle seems impossible. Kages vs Madara, and all the Naruto vs Tobi stuff seem impossible. They want me to end up with more than 60% life bar? How do I do that against 6 tailed beast?

Well yeah, people have said this game is like generations 2 with story mode, which is sad to know. I do hope that they will revamp it in the next game, especially this arc can close a lot of false claims and what not. After all, we are going to next-gen, so they can't be that lazy to change up in the next game, right?

After watching the big battles online, I thought the Madara battle was even dumber than the Tobi one, considering how vastly different the end result really was. Forcing Madara to retreat? Yeeeeeah, no. I still can't accept that, at all. Not to mention the severe downgrade on the quicktime events. Even the Naruto vs. Sasuke battle in Storm 2 was more epic than the kage vs. Madara, and that fight didn't even happen.

As for Naruto thinking of Hinata first, that didn't really bother me. The "Secret Lovers" thing though... *sigh*

Maybe if we look at it differently, maybe "Secret Lovers" could imply each are secretly in love with someone. At least that would have work for part 1 and till the Summit Arc in part 2, as both Naruto and Sakura both realize that someone loved them without them knowing... Stating that, not exactly sure why that title exists. And are you serious? Aiming for Sasuke as in Karin (though Sakura and Ino still fit the bill right now)? They actually believe she was lying when she said she was done with him?

I really like how they did Sakura's confession here. It sounds more sincere than the manga or anime versions. Also in this game they brought back the charging of jutsu like Naruto's Rasengan if charged becomes his Odama Rasengan.

Just did the Hinata vs Sakura/Ino event. I chose Sakura/Ino personality over Hinata, and then Ino said "she already has a better figure than us, thank god we have the better personality". Like, really? Can CyberConnect make their love for Hinata ANY more obvious? Funny how my friendship level went down with Hinata when I didn't choose her.

Ino is much much much better than her Even Sakura is better than her. Hinata has just big boobs and stop.
