That's the point. No one take it as "a bad thing." It's just nice of him to acknowledge a series that actually don't have that strong of a mainstream, which is more of a plus as well.

Its been like 10 days that Tashigi mentioned that they will meet Vegapunk. I am guessing that its very likely we could see him soon as well. We don't know where Caesar and Sanji are (The last chapter suggested that Big Mom could have them in custody).
I wonder if Oda is setting up for G5 helping Sanji (for saving them from Vergo) and taking Caesar to Vegapunk to set up a meeting between the two scientists about something happening in Wano, and Tashigi tagging along.

I'm JUST SAYING. Well besides even IF/WHEN the official couples become canon it won't be til the end so we can dream, joke, make crack pairings etc. right? It's part of the fun.
