"Nii-san?"

He allowed himself a small smile. "Hey there Hinami. It's been a while."

She sprung forward and crashed into his chest, almost knocking him over. She sobbed and gripped him tightly. "Nii-san! You're home."

"Yeah, I'm home." He felt his shirt tighten at the back where she clenched it with her fingers. She sobbed harder and he could feel her tears through his already soaked shirt. "Hinami, you've gotten taller." He felt her smile, and she nuzzled into his chest a little more. "But...you're still a chibi," he finished teasingly.

She hiccuped and looked up, affixing him with her best glare and puffed her cheeks. "I'm not a chibi!" she pouted.

"Of course you are," he smiled. He gave her a kiss on the tip of her nose. "It looks like you've been hanging around Touka-chan a little too much lately, that glare is pretty good."

"It's supposed to scare away baka nii-sans who try to tease me about my height," she huffed.

"You'll have to practice some more then, it's not scaring me away any time soon."

She smiled. "Promise?"

"Promise."

Damnit, now I want a Hinami and Kaneki reunion more than ever. Their relationship in TG was so touching, especially after the Aogiri Raid Arc.

Damnit, now I want a Hinami and Kaneki reunion more than ever. Their relationship in TG was so touching especially after the Aogiri Raid Arc.

Yeah, I loved their relationship, another thing SP ruined with their kitten adaptation. Hinami is so sweet. I can't wait for them to reunite again.

She looks so broken in :re T_T Kaneki's disappearance must have weighed heavily on her and forced her to grow up as quickly as possible.

I mean, we have yet to learn more about her circumstances and her motives for joining Aogiri Tree, but when it comes to Hinami, I still consider her as one of the most innocent characters in TG.

I'm planning to get the illustration book Zakki even though I know zero Japanese.

Maybe the illustration calender, who knows.
