I think that the only way for Sakura to possibly remember that scene is if Naruto (now as himself) gives her that complement again. That could trigger her thinking about that moment all those years ago, but for now she doesn't care.
Sakura might be a confident girl but for all we know she might still have hidden insecurities about her forehead, so if Naruto complemented her it might be very meaningful for her. It's in the same manner of how Kushina started falling in love with Minato after he complimented her hair, the one quality she hated about herself.
I think for most people what's important is not the bench scene itself, is that Naruto once again compliments her forehead but this time as himself, not in some disguise, and to let Sakura understand that he's serious about finding her forehead charming, not as the joke he made it out to be back then.
Back in chapter 3 Sakura dreamed of someone complimenting her forehead, and naturally wanted Sasuke to be that guy since she liked him, but she quickly dismissed the thought as a childish fantasy. Then when Naruto (as Sasuke) did it she got her hopes up, but was disappointed when Naruto made it out to be a joke. I think afterwards, and until now, she believes that there's never gonna be someone who will call her forehead charming as she wished it to be. Since she thinks it's a stupid impossible fantasy she probably decided never to try and hope for it to happen, hence why we never see her thinking about it.
Besides, we already know that Kishi is not above making people kiss others in the forehead (looking at you Dan), so Naruto complimenting once again (and maybe kissing) Sakura's forehead seems like a very good possibility for me. And let's not forget how the guy complimenting the quality a girl dislikes the most about herself can be paralleled with Naruto's own parents. Add the fact that Kishi is basically a parallel junkie and we got ourselves the perfect formula for Naruto to complement Sakura's forehead once again.

Well, you can read what I posted in the bold.
I don't remember knowing that he can share this ability with Kurama, i have forgotten somehow.
About the bench scene, i'm sure that it will probably be brought up again, otherwise why doing that scene and leave it unrevealed till now.
I'm terribly sorry about my posts. I'm referring that Kurama can share his abilities with Naruto. Not the other way around, but it would be weird if Naruto could share his abilities with Kurama (imagining Kurama spitting out a Rassengan lmao).
Although, this is just only a theory that I didn't want to bring up with NH and SS shippers because they're going to take the positive feelings as a NS (true on the inside) response and try to use it to chew me up and spit me out lol. ^^So that's why I brought it here. It would be very cool if Naruto could sense Sakura's feelings that are romantic for him. The problem is that will Naruto willing to hook up with Sakura, knowing that there is still remnants of affection she has for Sasuke.

I'm not sure if it will happen and whether it truly plays importance to NaruSaku becoming canon. It can definitely happen without that, so in the end it's not really necessary. I think the Kushina/Sakura parallel is what made me wonder a bit more deeply on Naruto once again complimenting her forehead. Kishi's addiction is parallels, after all.
She feels shock, some anger for transforming as Sasuke, and then finally realized that Naruto really is the guy she was always meant to be with. This could easily not come into play. Kishi has many options on how he'll make NaruSaku canon. The forehead scene could just be a small factor or a major factor. Or it could completely be not needed. We'll see.

It's amazing to see how much parallels Kishi has brought to the table. I have seen parallels in different media, but not as much in here. I guess he's really showing us how much sad life was for the people in the past who has the same dreams as the one in the present. It's no doubt that the theme is about surpassing the old generation and correct the mistake they have left. I remember something similar like that with Chiyo to Naruto before she dies. I guess it really took off to its own theme and here we are now. Make no mistake, these dreams we see aren't just romance aspects. It's more than that and I'm happy that there are more reasons behind it. Obito went through the same situation as Naruto. Romance is the downfall to his character, not because he's not loved, but it was too late. Jiraiya has bonds that are similar to Naruto and he wants to finalized it (ex: Orochimaru being his best friend, Tsunade being his lover). The downfall is the regrets for not accomplishing it or keeping it. They all went to the negative route. Minato got his dreams achieved. The downfall is his new life as a father ended it too short. Obito's situation has the potential to bring Sakura into the mix, but time will tell.
I actually feel that Sakura will have the last words with Naruto before the epic battle that is Naruto vs. Sasuke. I know she has been culminating all the developments she has with Naruto as well as knowing Naruto's intentions. The one that is still in her mind, while not yet shown again, is death to both of them. Naruto said it to Sasuke, yet she doesn't know what he really means. She was shocked to hear it and allow him to take of this situation, but Naruto is hiding something. She will bring this up and of course, she is worried about Naruto. I can bet this is where Naruto might do a small tease with a smile saying, "Hey, do you like me more than Sasuke?" then, with a serious tone saying something that will mark his return for her. I remember the anime version of the PoaL, like he was being Naruto when he told her that she really likes Sasuke, then went serious tone afterwards. That's how I visioned it. Perhaps this is where she will realize that she does love him. One thing I can imagine as well is the aftermath. We probably a comedy segment with Naruto and Sakura, she hits him repeatedly, then break down as she tells him that she was worried sick but really happy to see him return. Naruto is about to hug her for comfort, then an interruption happens.
As for Naruto's confession, there are two routes that I thought of:
1) Naruto will confess to her, Sakura will tell him that she knows already thanks to Sai, and Naruto will go "Eh!!!" It will start off as a comedy routine, then it gets serious with Naruto hugging her as he tells her why he loves her. She will smile and the rest is up to Kishi.
2) Naruto will confess to her, Sakura will get mad at him which makes Naruto think he messed up. Sakura will tell him why love her for she is the one that hurts him the most and felt that she doesn't deserve him. Naruto will get serious, seeing her sad, so he will tell her why Naruto still loves her. Insert epic speech and bam, she is in love with him.
The clock is ticking.

I agree with you on the whole bench scene and how it could be implemented into Naruto's confession.
On the bolded part: I actually would go so far as saying that she regulary switches from being confident to being insecure.
We've seen that througout the series that she feels like she has to make some sort of amends for not being as strong as Naruto and Sasuke. At times we've seen her doubt her worth as a ninja and as an asset to Team 7. Good example of this was the line she said before the interrupted Yamato line : "The only things i can do for him are small and insignificant"
Also after Sai confronted her with Naruto's feelings she said " If he's foolish enough to love someone like me "
She doesn't feel she's worth Naruto's love.
(Funny enough this also applies to Naruto in a way. (about the whole not being worthy) His line when Sai confronted him in the flashback. "How could i ? When i can't even keep my promise to her" He somehow feels he doesn't deserve to confess his love to her before he completes the promise he made.)
@Narusaku4life
On the 2 confession options.
Posted that second option a while back aswell. Just makes perfect sense and would fit with the line she said after Sai confronted her : " If he's foolish enough to love someone like me "
and the line before Yamato's unfinished sentence : "The only things i can do for him are small and insignificant"
Would really hate the first option. I feel it would cheapen the moment too much.

A wonder concidering that in the third databook Hinata was one of the weekest of all the 'rookies' while Neji being one of the strongest ( the strongest being Sasuke). While she's not the weekest kunoichi ( I think it is Ino), Sakura is the strongest of all kunoichi ( equal to Naruto in the stat).

Yeah, but there's no point in trying to talk with a fan like that. Fanboys and Fangirls on both sides are annoying as HELL! Especially the Hinata fans!

I don't know but simply put, she can be strong with confident, but on the same level as Neji doesn't look like it will happen. Regardless, her character is about being ready for the next heir. She's ready, so it's all good.
Now then, I believe it's time for Naruto to do the hugging next time they interact. Sakura did her part twice, now a guy must do it. Naruto is the most likely candidate since well he's the only one there for her. Sasuke coming to the light will happen in the end, so yeah, no time. Here is hoping Naruto will do it before he fights Sasuke.

Definitely yes, I want to see Naruto hugging Sakura next. :-) I agree that Naruto hugging Sakura right before he leaves for the fight with Sasuke (especially if he thinks that he might not make it back) would so touching, and would most likely be the best place to have that sort of moment, given Naruto's reluctance to take the initiative with her otherwise.
But the moment I'm waiting most for has got to be Naruto's inevitable confession scene to Sakura - no matter how it turns out, I think I'll adore it either way. All of Naruto's important speeches to date have been pretty touching, so I can't imagine that his confession to Sakura would be any less so. Kishi's saving the best confession for last, imo

I highly agree.
The time that Naruto will hug her is when Sakura is crying once more because Naruto is going solo against Sasuke, who wants to kill him. Naruto will cheer her up about the situation and everything will be fine. She will yell at him for making her wait alone again, then Naruto will proceed to hug her to finally calm her down and tell her that he will return and everything will be fine. That could be the deciding factor for Sakura in terms of her feelings. That should be when Sakura gets it. Time is coming. I guess it's no coincidence that love story is happening slowly thanks to recent chapters.

I thought exactly the same. But i think there will be happening something dramatical, maybe sakura thinking that naruto died during the fight, but then later he returns or smth like that. It would have a deeper inpact, because sakura would get a feeling for a short time how it is without naruto.
And then naruto returns and shes the happiest girl alive. Thats how i see it.

Both of them can happen. The OVA gives us a good taste on that feeling. Let's hope something like that will happen but more currently. It could happen in this fight that we're seeing now. She already felt so worried about Naruto fighting Pain, who was like Godlike to everyone. Let's see if she will feel about losing Naruto for a short while.

Yeah maybe he gets captured by madara to extract the kyuubi and the whole alliance tries to get him back somehow, that would be also kind of dramatic for sakura cause she knows whats happening when a bijuu gets extracted.
I hope the flashbacks end soon i want to know how the story continues
Just to add:
Did you guys ever notice that the first part of sakuras confession wasnt shown?
I mean all you see is shocked faces and sakura saying: "i said i love you"!
So what i want to say is that we dont see sakura saying i love you the first time.
I think there must be a reason why kishi did that. If you compare sakuras with hinatas confession, i feel like hinatas confession had a bigger impact to the audience because she directly said i kove you not i said i love you.
Its possible that kishi did that to save the big impact of a real confession from sakuras side.
For me its not counting as a real confession (also if sakura lied or not) because the big part where shes saying i love you is missing. So personally i think he made that to save the moment for later.
Pfuuhh! Its hard to discribe what i mean i hope you understand it. Or maybe its just weird thinking from me.

I get what are you trying to say.
First of all, Sakura did say I love you, but it only left that scene and only let us see what she said again because Naruto was too shocked. I don't know if this is Kishi's intention, but it's possible to save her real words in the future. Not to sound sexist or anything, but I do think Kishi believes it's the guy that should be the one to confess his love. We have no guy confession as of now. Naruto is the one to do so and knowing his speeches, expect Sakura to feel 100% love with him.
I don't know why but as of late, it seems that there are no acknowledgement of Hinata's love. I mean we know she did and stated in the manga once more, but it doesn't look like a big deal. Basically, don't be surprise that she's left out and Naruto never respond back. The last scene with them was their chance to acknowledge the love, but Naruto didn't. He just acknowledge her strength and that's all she needed. It's funny that in the media, they only show her as a Hinata's development, which I always assume because she finally got the courage to say and do. I mean the hug and Sakura's confession was left in place, so either the media is biased or it's just the fact NaruSaku is relevant to the story. Also, the hug was a direct hit to NaruHina, because no matter how much you can try to explain, the message is clear: Sakura hugs Naruto in front of the village, which a lot of them saw it romantically. When the hug happened, I just knew it was Hinata's development, nothing more. Why not have her hug him? She was good to go. Why Sakura? Because since the crying for Naruto happened, Kishi made Sakura calling for her knight. That's why NaruSaku is more relevant to the story. The ending to that arc always makes me happy, because we waited for Naruto to earn this amount of respect. Kakashi earned his respect and acknowledged him as a great ninja, which Naruto wanted that from him. Sakura hugs him, which of course wanted that, so now we are getting there to romance.

I get what you're trying to say. Of course, Sakura's confession wasn't the real one, as the deciding one, which the real one has to come yet from Sakura and Naruto. We just have to wait.

Yeah i also thought about hinata. My point of view is that shes getting her last talk with naruto soon. Naruto will tell her that he gave his hearth to another girl(sakura). I think hinata is going to understand this and shes maybe having a talk to sakura about that.
But i think this is all going to happen after the war since hinata said that she will hold his hand and going with him as soon as the war ends.

I don't know, hard to say. It's like I said, don't be surprised if she doesn't show up again or the fact she will actually get her response to her confession. There are anime/manga that has been ignoring the side character's love and often goes to the main character. If anything, she will be probably the one that might move from witnessing Naruto and Sakura together. She doesn't need to be with someone. She got her confident and she is practically ready to be the heir of the clan. Besides, with Obito being referenced to Naruto, it's hard to dismiss it now. Pretty much, she got Hinata done, but if they really want her to move on, he can do so by just smiling away.
