Most likely. I didn't bother with him when he invades my post. Trust me, this Saturday, I'm going to address why the ending and all else is bad WITHOUT talking about pairings.

I've been busy with life lately, and sadly have fallen behind on NS stuff. Haven't even finished my fanfic yet for the board. Is the competition still going on even? lol

I've only played through a little bit of Mass Effect 1, so I'm not really qualified to comment on this issue, but it seems to me like the Mass Effect 3 ending basically undermined the central theme of the series. If this true then I can fully understand why people were upset. I that regard I can see alot of similarities between Mass Effect's ending and Naruto's ending. The Naruto ending also undermined alot of the central themes of the story and just like with MS, there was also a huge part of the fandom who told the ones who were dissatisfied to shut up and deal with it.

 

I'll deal with it, but I won't shut up. Kishi has the right to end the series however he wants, but I don't have to like it. 

Well I don't know if you'll continue to play the rest of the games plus I don't want to give any spoilers. But lets just say the ending is really bad. It really makes no sense.

Interestingly enough fans after the ending came up with the IT. Indoctrination Theory in order to explain the ending. Just like we did with Naruto.

And both times the IT in Mass Effect and the IT in Naruto are more believable and better written then the actually endings for these stories.

 

 

^^ One thing Kishi mentioned in regards to the mini series is that he couldn't wait to depict Naruto as a father. Pretty sure he'll have a significant role in that spin-off.

Personal parallels of Naruto:

Dan to Naruto - same dream - being Hokage, similar attitude.

Nawaki to Naruto - same character, same dream - being Hokage, similar desing.

Senju Hashirama to Naruto - similar attitude, similar character.

Jiraiya to Naruto - same character, same love intrest, same attitude, same friend fate, similar powers, similar dream (to make something worth to people)

Minato to Naruto - similar desing, same dream.

Obito to Naruto - practically all, just a bit difference - Obito is Uchiha.

 

Personal parallels of Sakura (pre 699):

Mito to Sakura - same forehead symbol.

Tsunade to Sakura - same character, similar attitude, similar powers.

Kushina to Sakura - same attitude to Naruto as Kushina to Minato, similar character, same behavior.

Rin to Sakura - same attitude to Naruto as Rin to Sakura, same love intrest in "cool guy", same specialization.

 

Parallels of NS:

Jiraiya x Tsunade

Minato x Kushina

Obito x Rin

 

Personal parallels of Sasuke:

Kakashi - similar charcter (young years), similar fate (lost all his close relatives).

Orochimaru - same wish for more power.

Madara (?) - had similar ocular powers, same fate of brother who became victim of war.

Yeah, NS was totally to mislead people, not a plot relevant pairing, canon-based, developed part of story, nah, just misleading. It's a NH that was heavely foreshadowed through 15 years of this story.

I would add Pain and Konan, both individually and as a pairing. 

 

And I've always thought that Pain could have been like a Naruto gone bad (although I think Obito better represents that now), and certainly Konan is who Sakura could've turned out to be if Naruto was killed.

Sasuke doesn't have to remain in Konoha for extended periods to excrete his seed and return every now and then to visit. Whatever role he plays in the next film, I suspect it has to do with whoever it was that's following him, as seen at the end of the manga.

Looking back at Kyubbi mode it was okay, and I think it would've been if it did what happened in Chikara. I think it would've made/look Naruto more badass in my opinion:

Yeah, and the fact too that I also think of Konan and Nagato as a sign of a different kind of NaruSaku, Tricksie, since we saw how they turned out, yet I like to think Nagato was worse off since he assumed (to me at least) that Konan hated him for "letting" Yahiko die, while I think she stuck with him because of their bonds, be it romantic or platonic since Yahiko was gone and all that.

Reminded me...to talk about the project I'm working with my cousin.

So guys, we're working on a series that will have the 3rd generation. Yes, with Shinachiku. & yes also Sasuke's daughter. But, I'll get more into details about that later. (;

For us...699 & 700 doesn't exist. So we decided to create our own story. About our beloved Uzumaki Shinachiku. Last night me & my cousin worked with the characters' names, designs, backgrounds, etc.

I'll share a pic somewhere this week on our process. My cousin & I are excited to be working on this project & we for sure are doing to with lots & lots of love. & for the NS community.

PS: probably will open a thread of our project for updates.
