I actually think that this movie focusing on BORUTO is actually bs and it's going to focus more on Sasuke. Remember he said he wanted to make a movie based on Sasuke before? Besides, this is the money loving SP we're talking about. And Kishi had to make Hinata the heroine in THE LAST and chapter 700 because he needed Sakura as the heroine for the new series that has Sasuke. It can't be Karin, because in a canonical setting she's not supposed to be pretty by what the author has written her as, and it can't be Ino because she's not popular enough. That's why he had to shift Sakura's placement as Naruto's love interest to Sasuke's love interest. Naruto had no choice but to end up with Hinata. And now end up being called the scumbag because he was abandoned by the author.

There was one comment in 2ch which people ignored but was posted just after the LAST came out and it said.
"Congratulations Sasuke and Sakura. I believe Kishi made people hate Hinata and Naruto so people would love Sasuke and Sakura more. For whatever purpose that is."

And the purpose is the movie.....

That's a really good theory. I just have a few questions.
Why make people hate Naruto and Hinata? Why not try to make everyone loved? Won't that be more logical? Why antagonize a major part of your fanbase ? Why not try to appeal to them all?
Even if Sasuke and Sakura are made the mains for the next part/movie whatever why to pisses off another section of your fanbase. Also how could Kishimoney be sure that people hating Hinata and Naruto would come to automatically love Sasuke and Sakura more?
Why make Sakura a housewife? This effectively removes her from the status of the heroine because the role is so passive.

Hey, I have a bright idea. Why couldn't Kishi have paired Naruto and Sakura together, and then had a spin off that showed Sasuke wandering around with Taka. Wouldn't that be a great idea? Oh wait, no wonder Kishi didn't go that route.

if ns is the only thing that has kept you you glued to this series, then doesn't say a lot about the quality of the content? and you're not alone in this. many people have said that they only read naruto to see which pair is going to come out on top. says a lot about the garbage we were reading.

Well, I already knew the series wasn't the same and quality kept going down. I mean it went up with Pain, but then back down we go. The thing is before that arc, the downhill wasn't bad, just if only it was directed better. I still thought it was all good and doesn't hurt the image. Kage Summit is where it got really weird and really start to damage the series. It's not bad action wise, but the developments and directions are confusing and seem phoned in to make Sasuke look really important. And the rest is history.

Now, does it say a lot of the quality? Well, I was following for the characters of those two. While I know there were others that I like, Tobirama for example, Naruto and Sakura are the only one I deeply cared for. I already acknowledged that Naruto's character was becoming too forgiving and contradicting, though that's Kishi's fault for not planning well ahead. I mean hard work was there but done differently and then vanished completely with reincarnation. Sakura is a character with great potentials (no lies) but man, did it really, really fall flat with her. That's all Kishi without any doubt. If he said, "He forgot about her," then you know you're in deep kitten.

As for the story, I cared but at the same time, I'm annoyed how things keep jumping back and forth and not stay on the course. It only makes others look bad, mainly Sakura for thinking the same as before as to say, "That arc never happened." But it did happen and that's why people don't care anymore because you did that to us. Now, I was following this series for almost 10 years when I was started to get tired, so I can't give up on it. So I go on.

Now, if you want to know what's bad in a way, try my girlfriend. She told me her opinion on Naruto was nothing. It's a duty to finish it off for the sake of finishing it. Damn. What a girl.

But then didn't someone say that the LAST was going to show a lot of Sasuke? I saw that interview in tumblr as well. Not sure if legit. How is he going to get involved if he's still a wanderer? He's had to have some time he came back to Konoha for Sarada to happen as well.

I still hope it will flop.

 

Sasuke doesn't have to remain in Konoha for extended periods to excrete his seed and return every now and then to visit. Whatever role he plays in the next film, I suspect it has to do with whoever it was that's following him, as seen at the end of the manga.

You guys can't see what is this boruto movie will, be Sasuke will be like teacher for boruto, period, someone already made parallel to DB. I surely can see plot as in Final Fantasy 4 The After Years, Sasuke in Hooded men, who'm out of kohona for a long time, and spawn of hime don't know how he looks, but heard of him and blah blah blah.

Well, new anime goes on whole part 1 and 2 (season 1 covers them entirely in 25 episodes) and part 3 (half of it in 25 episodes, and second half will be out on this year). And then manga.

Romance appears in part 1 and far latter.

I think, I'll just start with the anime then. If I notice that I get too confused, I go back to the manga.

Kishi would only be digging a deeper grave for himself by using the same underhanded promotion tactics that Pierrot is being censured heavily for. He needs to keep his word on this being a next generation spin-off first and foremost if he wants to salvage what's left of his reputation.

It's only reason I can see this all happend, story was about totally other things, big part of fans totally didn't saw this comming, this "canon" movie is outstanding BS, even comparing to all previous "non-canon" movies. Money? No, Kishimoto already rich, is he that greedy? I don't think so.

And all this bs about Naruto and Sakura... If you developed your "true" pairing, there would be no such kitten about NS, so he only doing damage control talking this much about whad didn't happend rather then about what happend.
