Kishi and Seishi  ARE identical twins, could just be some weird twinsense going on...along with the fact that they drew manga together as kids. I'm not surprised they write things similarly. Its still pretty freaky tho.

Yup, though It's unfortunate that Seishi was the one who was lambasted by his brother's fanbase for supposedly being a "copycat"  during his 666 Satan/O-Parts Hunter serialization.

Let's see... The entire amatarasu aspect from Naruto also came from O-Parts Hunter much earlier too Chapter 3  where as Naruto didn't introduce it until like the 100+ chapters into the series:

The entire aspect with the tailed beasts, and the Akatski collecting them into the Gedo Mazzo that was derived from O-Parts Hunter with the Angels and Demons being collected by the Zenom Organization/Stea Government into the Kaballah and Reverse Kaballah those were established from there too.

I know they're identical twins, and yeah they were influenced by similar things which is fine, but it's still kinda cheap when you got to borrow aspects from your brother ya know. I mean call it a nitpick, but it just really stands out.

I know and the sad thing is most of the stuff from Naruto came from O-Parts Hunter first so if anything it's Masashi that's taking influences from Seishi. Man if only O-Parts Hunter got an anime that would be amazing... and what i love from Seishi is the hero's journey and you see that from Jio's character from the beginning all the way to the end. Plus that ending in O-Parts Hunter was something.

Yea, it's really only because Kishi is the more well known of the two, so everyone assumes Seishi is copying. But even Seishi has commented on it and says it's coincidence.

My grandmother is an identical twin, and the similarities/coincidences can be freeaky.

also, what happened to proenders' excuse "oh japanese weddings usually are all in black like the nh wedding"

doesn't look it to me, from a series from the 80s and 90s compared to naruto's ending, and yet naruto's the one catering to western fans when dragon ball's looks like an actual western wedding. I'd take this one any day over the naruto wedding.

Oh, I second that plus Gohan and Videl actually look happy, unlike Naruto and Hinata during their wedding. And we saw Goku and Chichi's wedding, expanded on in the conclusion of the Dragon Ball anime, was a mix of western and Japanese weddings effectively, so that makes it even funnier when Naruto did NaruHina to please the west, but they try to make it in their culture.

I think the super pic is better, while the z one is the super one just looks better.

No kidding... And it shows how much tunnel vision Kishi had for Sasuke, thanks to letting popularity polls and the fans tell him what he should do when it was HIS story, no one else's.

Popularity polls? Sasuke wishes he had that excuse. Kakashi was far more popular than any of the characters and Kishimoto said "Well, everyone found Kakashi super popular, so I cut down on kakashi being in the story so people would stop liking him so much."

So in reality, the characters that Kishimoto put no effort in, didn't care about, and left to rot...became super popular among the fans....meanwhile, all the characters that he put so much effort in, made them in depth, and actually tried....people hated.

The war arc is clear indication that he just let the fans tell him what to do with random characters making appearences for little to no reason all the while the characters the characters that actually were important or useful were either killed or pushed to the back.
