Think is I've never seen Hinata and Sakura as friends. Sakura and Ino? Sure. But Hinata and Sakura have mostly just been shown as classmates, and later co-workers. I'm sure she doesn't hate Hinata, but I don't see why she would sacrifice her happiness for her. Character wise it makes no sense, much like a lot of this manga.

This. Why in the world Sakura would step down FOR Hinata? She cared about Naruto's feelings not Hinata's, one other side Naruto literally didn't give a damn about Sakura's crush on Sasuke, he still loved her and wanted her to be happy, and now for Hinata-hime all doors are open, because of main heroine is too good to be happy with a guy who loves her? yeah.

I like everyone to calm down a bit and hear me out a bit. I know that many of your are distraught over the interview. I will not foster hope nor force my opinion on you guys. Just let me say that Chatte's theory still stands until the movie results. How's this plausible? Hmm. Let's just say all or most of Kishi's interviews are like feint guidelines. Kishi tells the interviewers one thing which starts off alright but ends up going the opposite direction in the manga. In other words, he's not an honest man.

Let's take two legit interviews that Kishi stated that he would develop both Kakashi and Sakura, which he had. Kakashi had obtained both of Obi's eyes and became the Rokudaime Hokage. Sakura unlocked the Byakugou and performed the CPR moments and other medical achievements that made her character grown in the war arc. That interview was also victim of one of many curve balls thrown by Kishi.

Kakashi loses both of the Sharingan eyes and was force to inherited Obito's will. His term was very short. Chapters 693, 699 and 700 undid Sakura's character, reverting back to her part 1 self.
 

Now you guys got the idea. Let's explore more to make it more clear.

His earliest interview (if real) he stated that Hinata was intended to be his heroine but could not pull it off, so Sakura got the position instead. Lets go even further. In one of the threads I came across an interview some posted from 2010. It was quite a long interview that was about the prospect of the big three pairings. In that interview, he admitted that SS and NH was the OTP, but he later changed it to NS because Sakura is like Kushina and the SK pairing, although he never explain why he choose SK. Maybe it has to do with Team 7 platonic family nature. This was evident until the last two chapters.

 

I know you guys most be thinking, what's the point in all of this? It's simple. It's the recycle of loop holes. You'll notice when these types of interviews is fulfilled in the manga, it recycles back to the beginning of the manga or from a previous point (which I'll get to that in a moment). Look what became of Sakura. I know I'm going to sound nuts like I'm high on drugs or something lol. Just bare with me. These consistent loop holes follows the exact rhythm of the "Tag Your're It" children song. The rhythm of the lyrics goes, "Eeny, meeny, miny, moe!"

 

Til yesterday, the loop holes were only consistently alternating between Eeny and Meeny. Miny hit is yesterday's interview which has three different translations. This interview looks like the epitome of NH and SS and the closure of NS, which makes NS more of the "Moe". But its very odd that Kishi to reveal such information while the movie has not been released yet. Why could he wait until the Jump Festa? That sounds very suspicious don't you think. Not to mention he loves big surprise  

 

And get this, there were two unsolicited and unauthentic very brief interviews right after chapter 700 that could either be real or fake. One was about the 180 turn where fans questioned Kishi and Kishi stated that all will be explain next month( that one I couldn't find a link to it). And you this one that is perhaps our only shot.

 

 

 

Now it gets very interesting. I've seen people called Kishi liar and proclaiming this interview to be a hoax. But lets understand the true merit of that interview rather if its fabricated or not. This so call unsolicited interview supports the IT theory, which leads back to NH and SS. Remember I said about the loop holes reverting back to its previous point? Think people. What was Hinata before the Last Movie airs in Japan? She was a side character. Now she's the new heroine.

 

The pairing interview above, which he lied to us NS fans? This is the previous point. The previous point was the Sakura before chapter 699, and still the heroine. If kishi throws that final curve ball, NH and SS will be trolled at the end and Hinata's status as the heroine will deteriorate rapidly. If Kishi has the audacity to lie and cheat NS and SK fans. Why can't he do the same with NH and SS fans too?

 

Like I said, I do not foster any hope. We are actually 99% confirmed to be the moe, but he has the sights of his snipers on NH and SS too. Till then I only give advise to those died heart NS fans just wait it out and see what the movie does. Those who does not have the heart can skip option A to option B.

 

​Option B is something I've planned just in case Kishi puts the final nail into the NS coffin. Option B is simply what I call "NaruSaku New Era Project". That I will explain after Dec 6. Depending on the Last ending. It will have an impact on the NS Doujin Project regardless the pairing or open ending  outcome.

Heck, I STILL love Bulma even though who she paired with makes zero sense, I just love that character type...I can't help it! D:

You know what's the kittening irony of all this? When I decided to write an angsty NS fic (but with a happy ending) my subject was the same one: Sakura steps back because she considers that she is undeserving of Naruto's love and Hinata is a better person than her. Sasuke was dead tho', lol. But I kept the SS alive. And I did it beautifully.
 
It was my first interaction with the fandom whatsoever and when I tried looking for an artist to help me with this, guess what the reactions of NH and SS fandoms were?
 
Also, strangely that Kishi doesn't talk about the boys's feelings, only the girls?

Naruto puts Sakura's happiness above his own. The main reason he is trying to bring sasuke back is for Sakura. Now with that said, its still makes no sense that Naruto would let Sakura go to Sasuke. But i could see sp justifying it that way. Basically they have their moment then part ways.

 

In a way, it would make the Big Three canon, in the sense that at some point in time the feelings were mutual...

Although Sakura may have decided to step aside for hinata, why would Naruto ever forego Sakura?
 
Naruto would never pick someone else over her. Even if Sakura stepped aside (which, btw, is a very Sakura thing to do, and I might just be writing a fanfic about that....). But Naruto would never give up on her.

She had a difficult time, for she loves them both dearly if she choose one, she would give up the other. She has to choose who she is going to be with Naruto or Saskue. Naruto see her struggling and know what she she was struggling. To be a man at such time is to let go his selfishness and to grow and make a choice and take responsibility of his action.

Naruto took a deep Breath and exhale, he has given much though. To see her cry makes him sad, she know's he loves her but she cannot say those words for it was too painful to say it. Naruto gets closer to sakura and wiped her tears from his left hand, Sakura gaze again to his wonderful blue eye's and it was sincere then Naruto Embrace her with compassion and love, Sakura heart pump so fast as her cheek was all red. "Sakura" as he whisper to her ears calling her name. 
"N-a-r-u-t-o" she replied 
"Sakura, Arrigato you don't need to worry i will choose it for you... Sayonara"
"Uh?" She was suprise
Naruto put his hand on her face and he looked at her
"This is good bye, sakura-chan"
"Naruto?"
Naruto smiled and looked at her beautiful green eye's
"We can never be together" He said those words to Sakura and was in Shock
"Because you love Saskue, and no matter how much i would win your heart you would always choose him, so this is farewell but not forever... I will always love you Sakura-chan, good bye"

Naruto then let go of Sakura. Naruto made a choice, He choose to let Sakura go. To see her in pain not to be the one she truly love, he then must let go his own happiness for the sake of her happiness. This is an act that Naruto can do for she truly loves Sakura.
He then turn her back and walk into the sunset a walking distance away from her
"Naruto, you BAKA!," She shouted!
"Sakura-chan?"
Naruto didn't notice that Sakura was running towards him real fast, she force and embrace naruto and kiss him compassionately. Naruto then in return reply to sakura with the kiss both with so much passion. Both saliva and tongue touching each other in the ultimate climax of love. they have been doing that for hours as the sun was setting in.
They finish. Both of them didn't look at each other. "Well that was... Unexpected"
"yeah, well for all your trouble you at least deserve a kiss"

Both of them were red, they smile and laugh. They know, they love each other but naruto choose not to be together so she can be together with his best-friend and that made sakura heart move so she decide to kiss naruto for that one hour of kissing on top of the hokage's head as the sun was setting down they will always remember that this was their first and last moment to have their feeling went into climax together.

"This will be our only moment, naruto" she hugs him tightly
"Yes, sakura but we will always have this okay"
They look into each other's eye's and would have another kiss one last time before they go their separate ways. 
Sakura is to be with Saskue While Naruto is to be with Hinata as the years progress hinata and sakura have their own children and life. Whenever Naruto and Sakura look up at that statue summit. They will always remember that they have their Moments that they know they love one another."

They are the strongest of the Leaf   . They are not even shown in the epilogue  go figure so they might as well all died for NH  bc their clan doesn't allow outside marriage and with this disgusting ending I'm willing to bet on it 100 %  .

That's why this is sooooo wrong. It's not Sasuke who was supposed to get the girl, it was Naruto! It's his story!

 

Sure, Sakura may have technically had a change of heart of the course of the manga, but that's perfect acceptable and to be expected. Naruto's the main hero. He doesn't have to forfeit his goals. In fact it was stated over and over and over that he would succeed where the others before him had failed. And one of those successes was in catching and holding onto his true love. 

 

Again, the manga points to that all the way through. It's the ending that throws it all under the bus. And not just the pairings, but every tenet the story was built on. Naruto the character got trolled just as much as NS fans did.

Exactly! And as I've been harping on the last few days, none of us would have a problem if Naruto's "girl" had been Hinata if Kishi had actually built up that relationship the way he did NaruSaku!

 

I've always believed the written work was canon first and foremost and should stand alone as a complete work. For Kishi to need a movie to retcon his botched shipping is terrible.
