Honestly, if Rin = Sakura happens and I was a hater, I will give up. While Kushina = Sakura is more effective, the idea of using the first parallel for a plot development would be staggering. I don't know, maybe it's just me, but that would be something that I would start hating on Kishi. Again, if I was a hater.

 

It would certainly hammer in the aspects of parallelism to others if there is eventually a Sakura=Rin event. But for what its worth Sakura=Kushina is enough, a side bonus with all the development where is counts.

Even though its non-canon even the road to ninja drama CD with Sasuke's AU counterpart, has AU Ino saying Sakura deserves someone better like "Menma" because he is like Minato. Guess we could say AU Ino ships NaruSaku? MenaSaku? Still the same in the end....

 

But yeah there is a lot coming, as of right now, the one argument of Sakura being the only girl canonically compared to Kushina is enough for people to keep a look out at NS. Its funny over all the arguments 631 gave from any side, this simple fact was often overlooked. Its there, plain simple, not bias or a lie, Sakura is the only girl thus far to the present currently attributed or compared to Kushina, the only girl, and as far as Kushinas words go, this is a step ahead of the others even if NS has its flaws.

It makes this the last parallel, Sakura is a combination of three parallels, Tsunade, Kushina and Rin. if you look into the future we got Konohamaru and his team cant even be parallel'd, for some reason i feel that Naruto Sasuke and Sakura is an end of an circle and it's leading towards it, the whole Kushina thing and the last panels told me that the whole NH thing is just misleading becuse the real triangle is Naruto Sakura Sasuke, the whole pairing suspense it's always on Sakura, i didnt see any suspense on Naruto because he pretty much kills it right away like 615/616.

True. I do think it could be our fault for placing Hinata (NH) on a pedestal, making it seem like a real pairing. It's more like a bonus pairing that people can fanfic or use it for comedy, knowing she's shy and all. As for real pairing, that's not his game. Heck, many people felt that the episode for 559 was "friendly", not something special. i don't know, maybe it's the anime or just know realizing that it's just friendly. We'll see how it all goes down but I don't even see Hinata that way anymore.

I thought the parallel would have to wait because the Juubi took control over Obito. But since Rin is being mentioned all the time there must be a reason for it and it may lead to a parallel and/or a redemption.

Hinata sees everything, but is standing there. It doesn't look like she has any intention of moving. Sakura is asking Hinata and keeping track of this battle for a reason.

 

I'm not saying Sakura will go up and save Naruto, but I think she has relevance here and she'll be involved soon. Wait 10 chapters..10 weeks.

If they honestly made Hinata do that a 3rd time, just god, could she do something other than a meat shield? She practically did that in 614. But at this point, what would be the purpose of putting Hinata like Rin? I mean Rin had a similar setup as Sakura did for intal teams, not to mention she was a medical ninja. Thats already 2 things in common with Sakura and still 0 with Hinata. I don't now why but if there is no merit or reason for a parallel of Hinata to Rin like we have seen all the ones constant with members of team 7, what would be the point now? Especially after 631? That would just confuse the audience. Yet its also funny because it would make no sense yet also do nothing to what 631 did.

I completely agree. Can't get enough of Hinata's crackparallels. Making her a parallel to Rin will also ruin the dynamics, because we already have a (team) parallel for Rin which is Sakura.

 

I also agree that she's not the best tactician, and always uses herself as a shield. I like when couples protect eachother, but that is just ridicolous.

Well also depends what the attack/projecticle is, I mean shielding from a stake of wood was painful for Neji, at the velocity Obito had the ten tails shoot it, it could have periecd right through Hinata if it hit her, but tell me, Hinata got beaten by gravity manipulation, Neji got nailed by a wood spike, so what is Hinata going to face if she made a body shield manurvere again? A freaking beast bomb? I find Hinata decent but please, no more situations of body shielding, she does not need to intercept everything. Otherwise if I use her in UNS3 as support Id set her to balance just so she could do that and save my character from a sudden attack.

this and probably she is also watching to see if any of them is injured. This chapter she reacted to sasuke's flames so she wondered what were the two doing.

Maybe.. I just thought that she wanted only to know the outcome of the attack against Obito. But her question seems a bit odd to me and also Hinata's reply...

 

Why Sakura didn't just asked her "What happened?! I've seen a black flames there!!" and Hinata didn't replied "Yeah, their attack hit that man successfully, maybe..." or just kinda stuff...

The same, i felt more that SS is dead too, Sakura got too many reality checks about this pairing, i mean no one ever confronted about Naruto's feelings for Sakura on a negative way, even we had when they made the promise but it turned out to not make Naruto think about giving up on her, but Sakura is totally the opposite, Sai, fodder ninja, Yamato i forgot how many people give reality checks on Sakura about why she should not love Sasuke, the first was about her feelings for Naruto and the last about loving someome who's a good guy/great guy and finnaly Sai giving another reality check about Sakura's true feelings about Sasuke's return (not trusting him) so it's impossible to turn all this on a filler and forgive and forget, also and add her feelings for Naruto, Kishimoto just kept adding more and more obstacles towards SS and killing it with murder attempts and Sasuke acting like a jerk and being selfish, even Naruto is an obstacle to SS.
It's more easy the story end with NaruIno than SS being canon srsly, he even made SHINO hate him how could Sakura just pretend that nothing happened at all.

Honestly I really dont care about what they think since its laughable, I enjoy the japanese fanbase waaaayy more. First of all because tje characters they actually care about and are popular are top ten characters mentioned on my signature.

They didnt even back up their information about hinata with any facts or even mythology (since that was what they were aiming for) they just said a load o' desperate BS that didnt even make sense, hinata wearing rings on her index finger and and other finger (forgot what it was called) suddenly became the new "ring finger"?? Really?! no sorry just NO, oh and dont go saying "they're ninja they're different, cut the BS, kurenai was wearing her wedding ring in her RING FINGER and shes a ninja *insert sarcasm*.......oh my god! What a surprise! :O But seriously, her necklace didnt even have a swirl!! And so what if she's shy? and so what if naruto is in the background? Its not like hes looking at her and blushing with the "lala land" face that he gives to sakura! Naruto in the background symbolises hinatas REVOLVE AROUND NARUTO and how shes a satellite character revolving around him, and even then, she's insignificant.

But nevermind that, that post with mythology had mythology for sasuke and itachi and the uchiha. Exactly what I've been saying this whole time. Hinata is a satellite character not meant for romance, just improving, even though she's weak, but thats just her character. The only love triangle we have is NARUTO---> SAKURA---> SASUKE even though right now the love triangle seems done for. Lee loves sakura and from what we've seen its romantic, since he wanted her to be his girlfriend but look who won sakura, naruto did, with sheer love and hard work, plus sakura was the first one to acknowledge narutos dream to become hokage and has been gaining respect for naruto and adornment and has only been doubting her love for sasuke as we've seen in the forest of death when she blossomed and she thought to herself how she was wrong about her perspective about naruto and sasuke

(which makes sense since kishimoto said sakura doesnt understand men) and she thought to herself, "I always thought of myself as a proud ninja....I said I liked (suki) sasuke..I lectured naruto as if I was better than him..but all I did was watch from behind" now when she said that she says she liked sasuke, thats her doubting herself, since she was doubting how she thought she was right. So sakura has been doubting her love for sasuke even since part 1. Which ties to kishimotos 2010 interview when he said "she says she loves sasuke but naruto is closer to her heart so what kishi said was that sakura says she loves sasuke (as in the forest of death) but narutos closer to her heart (as in when she confessed to naruto) (OH MY GOD IM A GENUIS!!) (suki is the base of love and romantic in japanese, not daisuki. Suki has been used between sakura to sasuke during part 1 and used towards naruto to sakura all the time, and used from sakura to naruto) And ever since part 2 shes been developing ROMANTIC feelings for naruto.

Are we seriously debating about how hinata cant be a parallel to rin? Whats there to debate about? Hinata has nothing to do with anything going on now, or later on, if she really was then why didnt we get a refrence during chapter 615? Seriously? Its right there, theres no debating, sakura is the rin/tsunade/mito/kushina of this generation. This is what I hate about the western fanbase (not specifically you inferno), why do they bring hinata into everything? When in fact shes has literally no connection to the story whatsoever? With the japanese their concern is naruto, sasuke, sakura, thr kages, kakashi and the hokages and shikamaru. No hinata, which makes perfect sense. I mean seriously take hinata out of the manga and nothing changes-and before you say 615 kurama was the one who actually reached narutos heart snd took him out of the darkness since he has a close bond with naruto, closer than one hinata will ever have, hes practically part of team 7, hinata just played a little role by reminding him of what neji said, so basically this is what went down, "hey naruto dont forget neji he sacrificed hinself for you cuz your his friend and thats what connections are *naruto remains silent and still sulking like a school girl* *insert kuramas reality check* it hit naruto home and brought him back thanks to kurama, naruto then thanks hinata and neji for being by his side" thats it. (And im willinf to bet that thr anime team wont change anything like they did with ber confession).

You really knocked them dead with this one . That  is what they fail to realize is that her character revolves around only Naruto, when he is in the picture she is there . Thanks to her aspirations she has become a brand new Hinata , but more than that , well nothing has changed . Even after the handholding chakra transfer everything was about Naruto and that they seem to ignore that , while bashing the living hell out of Sakura for what? For having small kittens? For staying at the background healing the alliance?

 

Its horribly sad and hilarious at the same time..   How close minded they can be ..   Oh well
