it's just me.... I know that they are friends but they are also rivals. Naruto has become a shojo and it's true. Did you read it?

I can't believe anyone honestly has faith enough in Kishi to believe that "The Last" was meant to be non-canon. All the hallmarks of him being a kitten, inconsistent, lazy writer are scattered all over the place and that movie is just the final giant boulder on top of a mountain.

Yeah... Maybe it's just a coincidence but all this interview comes after just the horrible movie about Hinata-sama. Oda must be thinking "WHAT THE GODDMANED kitten AM I JUST SEEING?" during the movie... LOL and then "I THOUGHT UR WAIFU LOOKS LIKE SAKURA, MASA-KUN!!!"

 

Or more so because she doesn't support the BS. :) It's clear from her face, her expressions in pictures, her words in interviews and her overly polite but not excited figure that all this is just a BS Pierrot thought they'd get around with, Kishi was to stupid to care or idk what's in his head and thus went away bc he didn't care anymore anyway, and thus Junko who was still interested in the story got caught-up in the middle. Now, she cannot say anything because she's under a contract, but she makes sure that once she can, she's leaving and that's it bc this isn't the Naruto she supported, the story she followed and such. This is a BS and we all know it, Junko does too so she'd rather just leave than be part in such kitten.

Kishi could have made a lot of stuff better, he just didn't care or wasn't smart enough to do it. This movie while out of place and inconsistent with the story is consistent with HIS  BS.

She doesn't look like she's having fun. She looks as though she's fulfilling an obligation. She certainly doesn't look like someone who's celebrating the culmination of 15 years of work and her part in it.

Some might try to write that expression of Naruto's being solemn and Junko trying to mirror the general emotion, but you would assume that if she were enthralled by the role that she would put more effort into the gesture. Could the stress from all this promotion and smiling through her teeth be getting to her?

 

I hope she manages to walk away from this before the spin-off happens. Who knows how this could affect the anime and the manga with their #1 seiyuu gone?

Well it seems obvious that Kishi values this antiquated ideal of love unlike most of us here. And if popularity is the true motivator for the ending then Kishi will force Pierrot to swallow their abhorrence towards Sasuke for the sake of their profits. They pander to the disgruntled Sasuke fans with actual worthwhile content in the movie then they have an audience that's willing to listen.

 
But how much of the Sasuke Japanese fandom has been damaged? Are they wiling (those who wasted their money) to subcumb to SP's BS so easily. I'm not going to feel any pity for them whatsoever because people should learn from their first mistake when deceived. 
 

what I have read here? Slam Dunk???!   SD is far the best shonen spokon manga that I have ever read.

The first part....makes so much sense....I'm baffled.   Oh God It could be, it could really really be true. 
It would make sense to have a non-canon The Last, for pure fan service for Hinata. That's probably why this movie is so gross and shoujo like...

The only confirmation we had is that Kishi wanted to end the manga with Naruto and Sasuke's battle and Naruto giving Sasuke the headband. That's the only sure thing, however, Hayate Date said that the ending is the same Kishi told him about some years ago with "minor" changes.
Aka the pairing dynamics. The man waited until he saw which pairing fandom brings him more money, who'd be dumb enough to milk some money from and went from there on, thus ta da, new audience, retconed 15 years of serialization and all that shiz.
Come on, the math is not hard. Money makes the world go round, it's not that hard, I told you.

Before that way back in the thread. I think the discussion was right before SP Directors damage control Tweet back in Novemeber that he told the fans that SP was not aware of Chapter 700 of the children and whatsoever except Bolt and Hamawari. We were discussing that Chapter 700 was planned just three months before it was published.

You would be surprised. There's still the casual fans and a portion of the SS demographic who are gullible enough to take a bite. And if they entice the audience with a large amount of Sasuke footage, not photos, footage, that could make more of the disenfranchised to return for more information.

I went over this list just to make sure Hinata wasn't on it
