Reminds me of Quagmire from family guy. According to Quagmire, there was a girl he really loved and wanted to be with. When he couldn't have her, he decided that marriage wasn't for him and just screwed around with every girl he sees. He said it was his way of lashing out when his girl didn't want him.

I would ship Sakura x Quagmire before i would ship SS. At least the guy has a sense of humor.

Which just ruins all the development Han gets later as he is supposed to start as a selfish scoundrel who only looks out for himself (and Chewie), only going along with Luke and co. in hopes of getting paid so he can pay off his debt to Jabba, but eventually grows INTO being a hero.

Its pretty much precisely this. but outside of George's Black and White moral compas, Han's not a "Bad" person because he shoot first anyway you look at it. Greedo was as much of, or more of a Scumbag as Han was at the time. Han was proactively taking out someone who clearly had it out from him. Lucas, as he proved with later changes to the mythos is pretty inept at writing. he got lucky the first few times. 

A lot like Kishimoto tbh. He had good idea's at the start and over time he just bungled them up.

I generally view Kishimoto as a puppet at this point. Like his self insert should have been Karasu, not Naruto. He just did whatever people around him were telling him to do at the time. Yahagi was probably the true mind behind NS and most good developments turning out as well as they did.

The thing is it was assumed that Naruto was in love with Sakura, never was this an absolute fact. As is, it's not true he was ever in love with her.

 

The odder thing though, was the retcon post. The entire point of retcons is to make new canon. I could care less about the Han Solo example personally, but don't understand folks 1: Failure to understand what a retcon is, in the case of Naruto 2: Issue with a narrative alteration in this case of SW.

 

It doesn't matter if you consider something canon or not that has official canon status, they're canon anyway, because that's the official status.

But it's implied. It even is shown in several databooks that he loved her. Like... how hard is it to understand this? It's HINTED that he loved Sakura.

If you just said NaruSaku shouldn't have been canon, that would be at least tolerable. But you completely disregard Naruto's true feelings. Which is ironic considering how much you love chastising others for allegedly doing that exact thing...

The ones I remember are only a few from memory:
Sakura cries over Naruto until he wakes up
Naruto saves Sakura from Sasuke
Sakura and Naruto see each other after 2 years.
Sakura embraces Naruto infront of everyone else
The ramen scene
and many other (filler) scenes in which they both care about each other, Sakura watching over Naruto as long as he's sick, Naruto mentioning his crush for Sakura or Minato asking Sakura if she was Naruto's girlfriend
 
I was watching some AMV's and kind of felt sad again ...

Everytime Naruto and Sakura are shown in vicinity to one another its a NS moment   I'm not kidding, even when there are no words there is almost always some subtle look going on.

Not only is Kishimoto a puppet, but all the characters are puppets. Naruto is a puppet dictator. Sakura is Sasuke's puppet. Sasuke became a puppet for Konoha when he never wanted to do that. Every other ninja is still a puppet for their village even though Naruto was supposed to change that. Basically, everyone is a puppet except Gaara, since he was able to avoid puppetry despite being surrounded by it.

Nah Sakura is everyone's puppet. Yamato hints that she likes Naruto, she acts like she likes him. Naruto says she doesn't like him, Sakura no longer likes him. the girl is like a plant person.

I'd believe that more than anything else this kitten series has now. Hell I'd buy that this was the emperor from start wars or dr.doom as the real villains of the story why not it'd make more sense than anything in the series now.

This is like me saying: "Bolt looks like Sakura because Sakura kept healing Naruto all those times and that means that a part of Sakura in in Naruto which means that there is a little peice of Sakura inside Naruto. NaruSaku4life."

By the way, getting a little tired of looking of NaruSaku and seeing like 20 images of fake SS images of Sasuke being "so sweet and loving" to Sakura and Sakura just being so whorish with the words "True love at its finest."

Well, Karin got kittened over as well. What possible justification was there for Sasuke to abandon her? She was the only female character that he even came close to giving a kitten about other than his mother.

 

It's just that SasuKarin isn't that great of a love story because it involves Sasuke.

I mean think about it, Sakura was doing great without Sasuke. Yet Karin is the one who gets left alone even though you can see how important Sasuke is to her. She probably hardly ever sees him. Not that Sakura does, but if he had ended with Karin they'd be together all the time. Instead Karin is just alone and probably constantly pissed off at Suigetsu's stupidity. Senseless.

I am surprised they still allowed Karin to retain her feelings and not just "because of a rivalry game."

I am even more sad that the only people she could be with was Orochimaru and the gang since she basially didn't belong anywhere else. I am also suprised she didn't just get a random kid.

I am also very sad that Karin, Suigetsu, and the like have basically become throw away characters when I found them more interesting than some of the other characters that are still around. Are we to expect them to make a show in Boruto any time soon? Probably not. I don't know who has a worse fate now. Naruto, Sakura, or Karin.

At least Karin could fight....unlike some Children of the Corn girl we all know....
