Hi I,m "new" here first time poster but have been lurking here for over two years. The couples I would also see besides narusaku would be shikatema and no matter how crackish it seems gaahina.

So its safe to say I made u join =) jk

But at first I liked Shikimaru and Ino, but I can see/understand Shiki and Temari, and now I want choji and Ino.
too late for Jiriya and Tusande uhh cant think of anybody else right now.

Another off the wall crack pairing I like is suigetsu and karin they act a lot like narusaku in the begining.

I got in an argument with a naruhina shipper on deviantart a couple months ago and she claimed that sakura hit naruto harder than winry hit ed which everyone knows is a load of bull.

I really do like that OVA - it has tons of NaruSaku hints/teasers in it ; Ino teasing Sakura about falling for Naruto, and then Sakura's flustered response was great ; as was all of the snippets shown of Sakura and Naruto together.

I don't think that the OVA could have been anymore obvious that she has romantic feelings for Naruto if they spelled out in neon colors. And even though Hinata got to go on a date with Naruto, Naruto was completely oblivious the ENTIRE time, and didn't once look romantically interested in her. If that was Sakura he was with, you'd bet your ass he'd be blushing and/or grinning like a complete goof.

(I did love the crowds' expression when Hinata fell on top of Naruto - especially Sakura's jealous face ).

Transvestite Orochimaru was disturbing on so many levels, but just so hysterical at the same time. I can't take him seriously as a villain anymore after that - I just can't.

As for being NS deprived - yes, we all are. I'm just crossing my finger, knocking on wood, and very impatiently waiting for any moment or hint to be thrown at us by Kishi - come on man, take some pity on us, would you?

I don't really care about other pairings, I guess I like KibaHina and SasuKarin since they'd pave the way for our pairing, but that's hardly shipping for it's own merit.
Some of the best NaruSaku fanfics I've read have had ShikaIno to some extent, and I guess they make a pretty cute couple. ShikaTema's great too, since Temari's also strong-willed, but the idea of Naruto/Sakura and Shikamaru/Ino going on double dates and such seems like a nice idea in fanfics. Of course, that sort of thing probably wouldn't make a difference in the manga.

That might be true, but I don't see why magnitude would make a difference. A trope's a trope right? Since Sakura clearly doesn't hate Naruto, any argument that tries to push the 'Sakura hates Naruto because she hits him' idea just falls flat.

Tell me about it. I'm sure there'll be something when they finally meet on the battlefield, but there's SOOOOOO many different things going on right now. I'm still thinking we'll just get a cute scene when they meet, but the big moment will be right before Naruto goes off to fight Sasuke. Then I'll cross my fingers for something like the 2011 OVA scenario .

The reason I brought that up was because she shipped edXwinry and I questioned her about that because I found it weird that she shipped one tsundere pairing and not another and she said that there was little comparison because "sakura hit naruto harder than winry hit ed" which made no sense to me.

Good point. That's the biggest thing stopping NaruHina. How can you really love a guy you don't even know? That's called blind love - which, in fact, is called a crush. She knows nothing. Wait... I just got something in my head - Imagine someone actually ASKING Hinata why she loves him and if she really knows him. XD

Do any of you believe that naruto would still have a perverted streak in him after he and sakura become a couple? An example would be peeking at her in the onsen, and if he did would she "control" him or allow it to continue? and I know some of you would say that they would just go into the mixed baths and I agree with you but this is just a hypothetical question so feel free to answer.
