My eyes! Love? Eh? I find Hinata's feeling more of admiration, I don't think we'll see her play a part in the Manga again.
P.S
OH my lord! Sai sounds... Nothing like you expect! Or Danzōu! Buy the episodes people!!
So about SS fans. They still not giving up, eh? Yeah, I'm pretty sure Kishi killed it.

*Grabs N/S eye drops from Goku-san* oh yeah that's the spot I can see again, I can see the light. It's the light towards N/S.

Anyway did any of you guys read the poll from NF? the choice with the most votes said" Kishi should focus on a team 8 arc so it can focus more on N/H"

While the one you mentioned was this one:
http://forums.naruto....73&postcount=1
I don't know which one is correct one now. NF put both. I didn't pay attention at first to the one you wrote. I only translate mine.
Yes, the 近い (chikai) is ambiguous, it's also written in the one I translated. Hence, I only translated "closer", didn't put anything else. :/
サクラはやっぱりサスケが好きみたい <-- it's a JUMP summary, as confirmed here:
ジャンフェスネタバレまとめ
JUMP Festa spoiler summary
(...)
・サクラはやっぱりサスケが好きみたい
Looks like Sakura really does love Sasuke (in my translation: It appears that Sakura still loves Sasuke)
You know, reading again, this sentence is confusing. o_O Because "やっぱり" it's "really" but more like "confirmation of the main sentence" while "みたい" is "seems". >_< Oh hell.
So........that's about it. XD
diffrint trans i found on interview omg it never ends get this place moveing again

we've probly coverd them already

Well, I guess I will make something up.
What the heck do the NH fans mean by "Sakura only likes him because he's cute now."
What are they talking about?! Naruto isn't cute for one, he was cute in Part 1, in Part 2 he's hot. Sakura never commented on his looks, and honestly she doesn't care; she cares for who he is. Geez, that's shallow.
Reminds me of SS where Sakura was suppose to be a baby-maker. Way to go.
Sometimes I truely wonder if they pay attention to any obvious NS moments, instead of blocking them out by going "Woah! Sakura's gonna go with Sasuke!<3" "No way! Canon!" ...Not. She didn't go with him because he tried to kill her

First of all, I like to say that most of the comment is based by speculation.
The author of this comment describe the panel and, most of the time, gave his own POV of this panel. Of course, I too, like to speculate about NS scene but I try not to take my personal thought as proof because that doesn't sound serious argumentation.
Here's my personal thought about Hinata's confession (I'll try to be as neutral as possible)
To me, like many of us here, Hinata's confession was just a character development. Hinata normal reaction in a normal situation when Naruto is near is mumbling word, looking shyly at him, blushing and fainting. The only time I've seen her showing confidence (beside her confession) was at the chunin exam (someone correct me if I'm wrong or if I miss another moment). In the chunin exam, Hinata almost gave up because of what Neji said but after Naruto gave her encouraging word, we see her gaining confident in herself so that she can continue fighting Neji. In a way, Naruto's word 'save' her form following the wrong way and giving up.
In chapter 437, Hinata protect (for a short time) Naruto against Pein. Now, instead of Naruto saving her, she's the one that save Naruto. While she did say that she loves him after her confession, the main part of her speech is mainly there to show to Naruto that 'his smile saved her'. Naruto gave her the inspiration to continue fighting even if this mean fighting the impossible, his whole being show her the right way. In a way, it almost like as if she's thanking him from saving her by protecting him against Pein.
At the chunin exam, she mentally thanking him after his speech and I think that she's doing the same thing in her confession. Of course, saying all of that doesn't say that she doesn't loves him because she say it herself after her speech but, to me, this particular scene show Hinata growing process to Naruto. To me, Hinata love toward Naruto is more because she worship him like a model more then anything else.
Beside, if she really love him, she could do as much as to sacrifice her own happiness for his own. NH fan say that Hinata understand and know Naruto so if that's the case then that also mean that she know that Naruto love Sakura. I don't see why Hinata couldn't live without being Naruto future wife ( and that would suck if Hinata only role was that). If we see Hinata once again, I sure hope that we will see her as Hinata, not Naruto worshiper.
As for Naruto, yes, he did transform into his worst kyuubi form after seeing Pein 'killing' Hinata but I think that Hinata's 'death' was more the last drop after everything he've seen and hear, not because he miraculously fell in love for Hinata after her confession.
In this page, we see Naruto in pain, asking himself why everything of this is happening and we see his flashback of Pein asking him to give an answer after that. The page after that, Naruto ask someone to give him the answer that Pein asked. That could be a good proof that Naruto didn't transform only because he see Pein 'killing' Hinata. He's freaking out because he want to find the answer to Pein's question, he didn't mention Hinata.
Naruto did show his concern toward Hinata in this page but his concern was also for the rest of the villagers. While it prove that he care for her, it doesn't indicate any sign of love (at least, to me it doesn't).
In the end, Hinata's confession was a character development more then a NH moment to indicate more in the future chapters. Kishi didn't give Hinata another moment after the whole 'joyful village' scene and I think that this could have been the only possibility for Naruto to go talk to Hinata about her love confession. However, since I believe that this was more of a character development then a NH moment, the chance to see this was very low. Beside, like I said before, Naruto have show that he care for her but he never show that he loved her so the Naruto/Hinata talk after confession would have been another closure moment ( and this time, a clearer proof) for NH. Naruto and co will come back eventually in Konoha but I highly think that we will see Naruto talking to Hinata. Naruto have a lot more in his mind right now (mainly Sasuke and what's left of Akatsuki) and this supposedly talk between them would be a complete waist of time and precious panel/chapter.
OK, that all for now ( it been a while since my last visit but I probably won't have as much time now since I'm now the boss in my department, which mean more responsibility and less time to enjoy quality time with you guys

He said "develop at least one", and if you look at part 2 of the manga he actually has developed more than one- narusaku of course, but we also saw Asuma and Kurenai did indeed have a relationship, Minato and Kushina's relationship was depicted in part 2 of the manga, Tsunade and Jiraiya's relationship developed, Tsunade was determined they would get together if Jiraiya made it back alive, and they both came very close to actually saying "I love you" to the other. Tsunade probably would have if Jiraiya hadn't cut her off and got her irritated. Jiraiya talked about how her rejections made him stronger- that's when he finally let his true feelings slip enough that she figured out the fool had loved her all these years, just was clueless about how to say it. But still it was developed in part 2 of the manga, we know for sure Tsunade wouldn't have let him go on pretending she always reject him. Heh, I hope she's met up with Jiraiya while she's in the coma. That would be a great scene.

Have you noticed how they always tell Kishimoto should make things he has no reason to because it would suposedly develop NH? A pairing he has showed no interest on?
By their logic, Kishimoto should drop or halt all his ongoing plotlines in order to draw an arc promintently features Team 8. Why? Because he MUST develop NH, of course.
And what do they mean with "focus more"? Has he ever focused on NH?
And weren't they always telling NH has got tons of development in spite of its few moments, screentime isn't equal to development, and pairings don't need development anyways? Of course, a lot of us suspected their claims were confidence-boosting lies, and deep down they longed for more scenes featuring their favorite pairing (just like all shippers) and they hoped -prayed- Hinata showed up soon so NH got more development.
And they tell Sakura is now in love with Naruto because he is cute and cool and heroic? Jesus, that is bitterness speaking. But at least they admiting off-handily she loves Naruto like a WOMAN. It is a sign of progress.
Do you want to take over the world, huh? Well, you'll have to go through us first!

I don't know if love has anything to do with it, but Naruto and Sakura are suppose to surpass there Masters; don't know if it means love life too but it could happen.
I wonder if Sakura is gonna be the next "Slug Princess" it's not that far off if you think about it. She IS suppose to surpass her and Naruto got his beautiful froggies/toads.
You know, all pairings I think that happened in this Manga so far were already canon from the begining. Obviously, Kushina/Minato; but I wasn't too sure about Asuma/Kurenai. Funny, when Asuma died Kurenai is pregnant, when Minato dies Naruto is born (Not in the same moment) So, so sad. R.I.P

When Jiraiya dies... Uh, Naruto grows-up in a sense? I guess each death has importance, duh. Even Akatsuki death is less of a chance of Naruto or anyone else getting killed.

*snore*.....No...Naru*snore*innaruhina*snore*
But things won't go down like this. Something has been being prepared since the confession and I am excited to finally see what the result will be. 437 blew me away. I am expect something similar in impact or even greater from Kishi. Nothing less than that.
*snore* Got this from NaruHina fan on DevArt...

Well that N/H fan will have to keep on waiting because I believe Kishi is not planning to make N/H canon in his manga. N/H fans have been waiting during part 1 and they kept on waiting and waiting and more waiting. Now they will have to do the same thing with part 2, I'm sorry but let's face the fact if Kishi has NEVER shown any development of N/H from the beginning of the manga or any sign that Naruto might like Hinata, he's not going to start now. It's too late to back up from the long N/S development he has been working out since part 1, Kishi is not going to destroy the slow pairing development of N/S to start another pairing development which he has NEVER shown any interest whatsoever to begin with. '
That N/H fan said that Kishi is planning something after Hinata's confession I think that fan is wrong. Look at Rock Lee the guy basically confessed his love for Sakura during the forest of death in the chunin exams. Did Sakura gave him an answer after the fight against the sound ninjas??? although she was flatter he felt that way about her she didn't said a word to him because she doesn't feel that way about him. That was 400+ chapters ago. If Kishi left Lee's confession hanging in the air, then he can left another secondary character's confession in the air too I'm talking about you Hinata.
Also judging from 488 there's no doubt Kishi is not planning to give Hinata a response from Naruto due to her confession. 488 its actually the chapter where for the first time Naruto is facing Hinata after her confession and that was exactly 51 chapters ago, the fact that Hinata didn't said a word or the fact that Naruto didn't even looked at her its pretty clear that Kishi has no intention to bring back her confession again. Hinata's confession was done for her character development not so that Naruto returns her feelings period. On another case Sakura's confession will have a conclusion why....because unlike Hinata's feelings for Naruto Sakura's feelings for Naruto plays a key role in the main story, not to mention that she's the heroine.
I doubt this manga will last 200 more chapters leaving me to think that it's already too late in the game for Kishi to even start developing N/H even if he likes the pairing or not.
