It's funny how this series exploited the dark side of not just the guys who worked on it but the company behind it. So, I thank Naruto for that. Not sure if there has been other that has done so. Sigh, if only Bakunan's protagonists existed, they don't have to put up kitten like this...

Either translation you believe in, what you get is the idea that Sakura would be a horrible women if she went to Naruto.

 

Either cause stalker girl who Sakure never interacted and showed little true friendship towards has nothing in her life but her obsession with Naruto,so Sakura taking Hinata man would make her "bad" and the fact that if she gave up on Sasuke she would look like a whore.

 

Or she would be terrible simply because if she gave up on Sasuke it would prove that her formerly stated "love" was shallow and it would make her a terrible person, and a whore. But Naruto? Oh Naruto's love was just a "faint crush". Somehow that doesn't make him a terrible man though.

 

Honestly Kishimoto has made a lot of people think Japan see's love this way and has made them think negatively of the culture, which isn't fair. I think Kishimoto is just f**cked up in the head.

I personally think if this franchise has any size in the future, it will be because of AU creations from our side. NH/SS will move on eventually, because they got what they want. NS will love the characters they love, and just ignore the crap Kishimoto did to them in the end.

So basically the only reason Hinata got Naruto is because Sakura didn't want to feel like a man snatcher, and choosing Sasuke was just her second choice  

 

No, the way the movie is handling Naruto's feelings is just sad. I guess even Kishi had a problem with Hinata being the second chioce that he feels he has to downgrade Naruto's feelings and make it seem as if he was never really in love.

That movie does not exist to me. I'm willing to take my feel good moments and run with them at this point.

no mater which translation you choose, Hinata is still only second choice. Naruto is with her because Sakura isn't an option whether by her own unselfish choice or Kishimoto's dumbass reasoning. I just consider this a meager victory that no mater which way you put it, NH and SS still kittening loses on moral grounds  

Yes, either way we slice this, Sakura and Naruto BOTH suffer...but can we just take solace in the fact that Sakura is a good person? and Hinata is not his first choice, or his first love?

Usually, though, two girls who are friends will take on a friendly rivalry, decide that whoever wins the loser has no hard feelings (of course this never works out), and go from there.

 

This dynamic played out almost exactly Ao Haru Ride.  The main female protagonist agonized over the fact that she loved the same boy as her friend, but came to terms with it by being honest about her feelings. 

 

What does Naruto value above all else? Honesty.

Someone explain me WHY they didn't release the last chapter after the movie, and leave more suspens about it...so they could attract more fans instead of only attracting NH/SS fans... I don't get it !

To tell the truth, I was torn between her and Sakura, but in the end I chose Hinata because she is the best woman for Naruto, she is a character with positive and sincere feelings, unless Sakura" or something like that. Instead, they find themselves reading this "But to make Sakura falling in love for Naruto would have made her a horrible woman (laugh)."

I wouldn't blame them if they have a bit of a bitter taste.

I hate how arbitrary these pairing decisions are. We all love NaruSaku because it makes sense! It was the one pairing option that was developed throughout the entire 700 chapters. But in the end, Kishi made some bogus decision based on a mix of editorial influence, money, and misogyny. That's hard to stomach. It's hard to stomach because in the end two of the characters we came to love the most look nothing like they did in the previous 698 chapters; they lose all character development; and they are given no moment together to resolve their feelings.

A movie cannot retcon this.

Both of them sound horrible to me. Why is Hinata the better woman for Naruto. She. Literally. Stalked. Him. I. Can't. Deal. With. This. Anymore.

Although Sakura may have decided to step aside for hinata, why would Naruto ever forego Sakura?

 

Naruto would never pick someone else over her. Even if Sakura stepped aside (which, btw, is a very Sakura thing to do, and I might just be writing a fanfic about that....). But Naruto would never give up on her.
