This is what happens when you sell yourself to popularity demand. Kishimoto's convinced him to change the pairing to NH SS because of its huge popularity (I'm certain Kishi originally wanted NS). But this isn't the first time something like this happens before. 

 

Akira Toriyama originally intended to end DBZ after the Frieza arc but the huge popularity demand forced him to continue the series.

Kishimoto just gave up on the manga already, the NH/SS pairing end was one of the small things he did, he bought back Orochimaru and he's now good without a conclusion just with the following Sasuke bullsh**, Gai on a kittening wheelchair when Jesus restored his arm, The final battle sucked, unappealing villains (Obito and the "final boss"), Too much kitten with Sasuke's rinnegan powers(you now the power that the rinnegan doesnt have and he suddenly shows up), Obito's redemption, Madara's downfall.

Srsly at least thank god it ended and i wont need to "drop" this manga every week.

4Life....I wish you come back. Ι still remember the days when I was insecure about NS and you were the one who removed that insecurity from me. You helped me great deal with this stuff. I remember my first podcast as well! There was nothing you could do, bro. You held it all....you endured uptil the last. No matter what, you never gave up the ship. I think you're blowing this out of proportion. He wants his father's attention, yes. But that still doesn't say he neglects him. He was late to the hokage meeting because he ran off to bolt first! And Hinata didn't take him to the grave because he was at school. That's my opinion.

This isn't the first time Bolt has done this and people have noticed it. Konohamaru said "Aahh Bolt again?" That to me entails this has happened before. Naruto's wording implies he hasn't disciplined him on it before which to me, makes it seems like he either never bothered to discipline Bolt for past transgressions or just disciplined him and never let him know why he was being disciplined.

Now I figure Kishi is doing this to show a parallel between Naruto and Bolt and I get it. Like father, like son. Doesn't mean to me that it should be like that. Either have this as a hey son remember what I told you before? Or make it his first offense since Naruto became Hokage so Naruto would explain to his kid that he needs to look to everyone as his family now. That would let me go, ok Naruto I dislike who you ended up with but at least you are a good parent.

I do agree however Hinata probably just assumed he is walking home from school so I can't really blame her for it. Not what I would do, but judging from how the genin were in part 1 I would not be surprised that most families are like that

@AHK I also like Gintama! Well, it's a gag manga so I don't know how you would feel about it, but it has serious moments as well. And the author treats his heroine very well.

God, I feel sooo bad for Bolt. As petty as it sounds, I can't like him (for now I guess) because he's NH spawn but seriously, poor kid! He's neglected to the point that he did THE SAME THING NARUTO DID because he was also neglected so much, he had no parents, even calling Naruto a kitten father. And what does this guy, who should sympathise because he went through the same thing (actually because he went through that he shouldn't neglect his son so much), tell him? In short, "suck it up." God I hate Naruto. How can people seriously try to defend this?

I just feel terrible for Sakura. Naruto still got with a really nice girl that loves him and is the hokage. We don't know whether her cleaning the house in 700 implies she is a stay at home mom or is just off work, hopefully the later. My fear is that Sakura will become lonely and isolated from most of the rest of her friends. Sasuke is a loner with no family and for all we know they could be living in some far side of home. He also probably is rarely around and even when he is he is not exactly highly social. I just feel unless Sakura works frequently and get's around then she really could start to feel lonely and distant from others. Supposedly she loves Sasuke but they still may not be enough and I fear that the relationship could actually make Sakura quite depressed and Sasuke is not exactly one to raise someone's mood.

LOL I told my literature teacher about this kittened up ending and she told me that this "Kishimoto" person needs to go back to the drawing board because his writing sucks and she completely point all the flaws in his story especially Hinata who she called "stagnant". She had no development with the main character and should have never ever got with him. I then told her about the movie and she said that was a poor excuse. Using a movie to justify that pairing won't change the 698 chapters of development between Naruto and Sakura and that if anyone who decides to read the manga from beginning would be sorely disappointed by the ending. She told me she would love to send him a letter so SOMEONE GIVE ME HIS ADRESS LET ME MAIL THE kitten NS PICTURES AND SOME SENSE.

My heart wants for all of this to be revealed as an unmerciful front intended to get a message across to piraters. This isn't the reality that Kishi set out to create. His own will is bound and chained by the influences of assistants, publishers, and an anime studio that would sooner watch the integrity of this series go up in smoke for money and popularity. It's a difficult hope, but at least the spark to see consistency and true love prevail is still alive.
