The hate for Sakura is because she's a heroine in a story that suppose to inspire people, so she was suppose to be put as an example, not Hinata, her but Kishi didn't care enough to do anything with her and it frustrates people, which could be why people overlook anything she does and Hinata really didn't do anything, just watched but people sympathize with her because she's shy and HAD family problems and she's a side character, barely shown to actually criticize like Sakura plus people can be shallow

It's still double standards. Sakura is judged more harshly because she's the main female but Hinata can get away with it because she's a side character? It's Hinata fappery at its finest.
Naruto isn't exactly the best example of a main character and neither is Sasuke of a "best friend". Sakura not having big fancy powers like them doesn't make her a bad character. Her flaws and humanity still make her a better heroine than a one-dimensional stock side character that everyone overrates and loves to fap over.

She lost because she's a TERRIBLE fighter. She lost because Hanabi was BETTER then her.
Drastically changed? Where? when? Because it seems to me she is still a character that exists solely for the sake of Naruto-kunning.
Powerful Kunoichi? Call me when she takes on an Akatsuki and wins
Call me when she DOESN'T repeatedly throw her life away.
CALL ME when she can take on an enemy and you know WIN outside of filler.

Of course she drastically changed herself.
She went from a Naruto-kun......to a Naruto-kun + big warm strong hand.
She lost a fight because she's too kind <---- She lost a fight because she's kittening WEAK. (prior to the bullsh** asspull in the Last kitteny of course).
She risked her life protecting the one she loves <--- everybody else she didn't give a fig about. 'Oh, Neji! You be dead and is my fault.....OH NARDO-KON YOUR BIG STRONG HAND!'

Hinata wins fans' sympathy because she's suicidal for Naruto. They ignore the fact that Sakura would also give her life for Naruto but is smarter and tries to keep herself alive in order to keep him alive.
Yup Hinata is so competent getting her family killed for the sake of Naruto--the least she could've done was keep Neji #1 in her mind always and yet we get her thinking of "Naruto-kun's big strong hand" and smiling just minutes after Neji's death. To the very end she clings to Naruto thinking of him while waking up from the IT. You'd think she'd be feeling emptier and more depressed after her cousin died. She didn't give a crap about Neji.
