I am observant when it comes to Sakura and Naruto (Seeing as I AM a Naruto/Sakura fan)

I have some comparison about NaruHina fans, or whatever.

•There rein started because they believe in the cute and sweet girl getting what she wants because she so adorable. Pff.
•The 100+ fillers did not help at all for anime only watchers with all the FAKE NH moments.
•Oh my goodness, all they talk about on the VIZ forum is "Who will Hinata's first kiss be?" "Who's Hinata cute with?"
- My god! She's a secondary character! She isn't gonna kiss anyone! She isn't even gonna be with anyone! And honestly I don't think Naruto and Hinata look good together, though that doesn't matter.

That's perfect. Shows exactly what Kishimoto intended on doing, obviously Hinata just wants Naruto to be happy; letting him be with who he wants to be with an not OOC her by pushing Naruto on the subject.

actually im pretty sure sakuras hari is unique jsut like the character herself is.

her parents reaction to Naruto quite honestly as far as I could tell would be positive to at absolute worse slightly cautious. but as long as Sakura was happy they would support her decision to be with naruto.

I honestly have always despised the biased and quite frankly ooc depictions of Sakuras parents in most fan fictions. theyre usualy depicted as demon hating bigots who forced sakura to chase after sasuke and told ehr ot stay away from the demon.

which is patently untrue as Sakura didnt even learn of the kyubi untill part 2.

Yes, I definitely wouldn't go that far, but even in the manga Hiruzen talks about how even though talk of what Naruto was was punishable by death, the kids picked up on their parents attitudes toward Naruto and that was why he was treated the way he was by the other kids.

What we can glean from Sakura's behavior, words and early attitude suggests that indeed Sakura wasn't exaggerating to Sasuke that her parents were rather strict, if not downright harsh in their discipline- Sakura was rather fearful of adults- even at 12, and tried to nervously placate them, even while her inner self was in rebellion. When she first enters the Academy she wasn't just afraid of adults, but of everyone, and cried at being bullied. Her parents gave her a rather poor preparation for being a ninja.

Look as well, at what she falls into feeling about herself when she fails at something- even Sasuke telling her she was useless at 12 wouldn't have had more than a momentary shock, unless it was something she had heard before from people important in her life. (Just like Naruto's deepest emotional issues stem from how he was stared at with hate and fearful eyes by adults before he was even in school)

I do see Sakura's parents as the first source of her emotional issues (just as Hinata, Neiji, Gaara, and yes Sasuke too were also harmed by household atmosphere even before they started at the Academy). That is why I wrote them in "Rain or Shine" as unpleasant people, who especially dislike when their daughter acts what they deem as "unfeminine". Their attitude toward Naruto basically followed general village attitude- but through the lens of their personalities, that are basically unpleasant and overly judgmental of everyone, but also rather status conscious- their attitude toward Naruto become more positive once it was public knowledge he was Minato's son.

Sakura loves her parents and wishes they would acknowledge her- this is the source of her seeking acknowledgment elsewhere. It's why she developed a strong mother/daughter bond with Tsunade. Tsunade was somewhat strict with Sakura, like her parents, but unlike her parents, Tsunade has given Sakura acknowledgment. Thus Tsunade became a closer maternal figure than her biological mother. Sakura has the sort of mother/daughter relationship with Tsunade that usually happens between mothers and daughters (if the relationship is positive) once the daughter reaches what the mother perceives as adulthood.

Ok look at the part I bolded lol. Now think of this for a second. If we follow this logic then her ridicule of Naruto when she was little was just a basis of her environment, just the same as her crush on Sasuke would have been an approving mark, or so she believes. Now if this logic proves to be true and her feelings for Sasuke were fortified from a deep underline meaning of acceptance, it can be concluded that Sakuras feelings for him in a sense are "False" where they are not quite love, but more of wanting to be accepted, again our theory based on her wanting the popular guy.

Now what does this mean to me? Quite simply that if we were to assume this is the case then her falling in love with Naruto could in a sense be her developing as a character. In a sense she doesn't need that acceptance because of what she learns from Naruto. He expresses outside what she is thinking on the inside.

I dunno just my two cents and a logical statement. It could also explain where her deep lying emotions for always feeling useless stemmed from.

to be perfectly honest we cant really glean much of sakuras parents since their only appearance in the manga to date consists of her mom telling her shell be late.

Sakuras attitude towards her smacks to me mainly of standard teenage angst towards the parents since alls he realy did was complain that her parents would ground her if she misbehaved like naruto did. Which any good parent would if were honest with each other.

Sakuras primary complaints about naruto come from her own lips and those ar ebased on ehr misconception fo his intentions towards her, not in any ways shape or form based on how others treated him. ironically Sakura was one of the first to acknowledge him as a person. even if she reacted negatively to him, she did so based on her own misguided view, unlike other children who picked up their parents attitudes.

this actualy tells me that her parents were just protective of her at worst, and not bad people at all. After all you can tell someone they are beautiful and nice and wonderful all you want. but as we all know peer pressure can be bad, and we tend to seek our peers approval over our parents as teens.

hence im not convinced that Sakuras parents were ever even remotely unpleasant or judemental at all.

Well, even so they/anyone doesn't hate Naruto anymore, I mean he DID save all there lives and hell if I was Sakura's mom I'd be like "Hell yeah! Go gett'em!" xD Well, maybe nothing like that but still, Uchiha's wouldn't have accepted Sakura (If they lived) and Hyuuga's wouldn't accept Naruto; those "special" clans. That's another reason NS works the best, Sakura's clan is nothing special as far as I can tell so they probably wouldn't care and Naruto, well, he's kinda on his own D:.. Oh and Hinata wouldn't beable to put Naruto back in his place if he misbehaved like Sakura. See? Perfection xD!!! Though it never really works out perfectly, who knows...

It's funny now there are N/H and S/S fans saying that Sakura doesn't love Naruto because she said that she will believe in both Naruto and Sasuke. They are defending this point because she didn't said I will believe in Naruto.

Ignore it. Many of them misinterpret the scenes (they only care about if Sakura is with a scene with Sasuke, same goes with Hinata with Naruto together). And I sometimes believe that do any of them had took reading comprehension/critical thinking?

Well, they have as much faith in the pairing as we do in this one. It's only natural for them to act that way. I'm quite sure that if we were in their shoes --liking a pairing that will, most likely, never happen-- we would act the same way and stick up to what we believe in, which is what we do, but only for our pairing.

One nice thing I can say about SS fans is that they actually are able to appreciate Sakura as a character, and are less likely to bash her. I feel like that is one thing we NS fans have in common with SS fans, which is nice. Strangely, though, I don't feel NH fans care all that much about Naruto. I sort of feel their love for Hinata specifically over-shadows their love for Naruto's character. Hm.

Nope. For example in Alice 19th I found Kyo crashingly dull a character (Yuu Watase's most uninteresting male lead ever) but I knew Alice and Kyo would end up together, even though I though Alice and Frey had much more exciting connection. Alice had a Hinata like crush on Kyo, Kyo liked Alice but it just wasn't terribly interesting, Kyo was rather a flat character, Frey was much more exciting and he liked Alice and Alice was a bit attracted to him to. I know manga plotlines though and knew it would be Alice and Kyo. So I just enjoyed the scenes with Frey and otherwise just read the manga to see where the plot went. If I like a pairing that will never happen (another example- Snape and Lilly in the Harry Potter series, I enjoy the occasional moments in flashbacks where we saw them together, and read lots of Snape/Lilly fanfic. Rowling did say Lilly did love Snape back, and they would have probably got together if Snape hadn't gotten so involved with the Death Eaters. So the fanfic just goes down that what if route. But I'm not throwing fits about who Rowling paired characters with, I knew it was going to be Ron/Hermione from the first book. I never cared much for Ron or not much for Harry either. I liked Hermoine and probably would have found it more satisfying if she ended up with neither, and became a strong, happy and independent witch. But I'm not throwing a fit about that either.)
