In theory, the release of any film could be pushed back. It happens all the time, even with big names. Of course, I'm not sure how things work in Japan, especially because this kind of stuff could be tied into their culture, as is anything else universally.

Well, I'm always under impression that they don't delay for squat. Only exception is video games, mainly Square Enix, but it feels like it's because it targets everywhere, so delay isn't a bad thing. But who knows.

I did joke if Kishi took two months break, Sasuke will lose in 2 chapters, rather than 10. Get it.

Yes, it was answer to you. As for the bolded part, well I feel like Kishi is on timer, though, it could be a strange coincidence. Like, "Finish this arc before the movie!" Again, it could be a coincidence. That said if it's true, just imagine if Kishi is really on a timer. Then he can't take a break. Take a break, another chapter lost. For all we know, that chapter could have been where Naruto outsmarts Sasuke, but instead, it's skipped and Naruto looked completely dumb. So imagine skipping two months. The fight will be super short because "movie is almost out."

Oh, I understand now. I really hope that it's not the case, as the pacing and everything would be ruined if he decided to cram everything into a very limited number of chapters.

 

On that note, I guess it's fair to say that Kishi has had everything planned out for a long time, considering that the movie is probably already done or, at worst, in the final stages of post-production. The fact that it's being advertised indicates that they're ready to release it or will be, by the desired premiere date. That means that Kishi already knows how he wants the manga to proceed, such that we'll arrive at that point and probably also knows how he wants the movie to tie in with the rest of the plot. But I guess that's to be expected. He did say he already has everything planned out.

If I remember, I think Kishimoto actually compared his wife to Kushina. So Kishi x Wife will be a parallel to Naruto x Kushina .. even thinking about this is wrong and it makes me
